    Chilaquiles

Chilaquiles were delicious and reasonably priced. Loved the green salsa from the salsa bar, which is mild. Coming from CA, I wasn't sure what to expect in terms of taste but I was pleasantly surprised. Restaurant was clean and service was friendly. I took a star off because service was a bit slow despite not being busy. I think there were only 2-3 other people and most of the tables were empty. Overall, a good spot in an area where there aren't a ton of restaurants.

This is the breakfast barbacoa burrito

Popped in for a breakfast burrito it was a really fun option versus McDonald's grab and go breakfast. They recommended it with the barbacoa and they were spot on it was a fat juicy delicious burrito with good flavor. I almost couldn't finish it so I saved a few bites for later it was a great economic breakfast.

Excellent food and service! Coming in, there may be a line, but be patient! The food is worth the wait! I love that you can choose from many different meat options in the format you like (tacos, burritos, etc). My favorite dish is the Alambre Mix that has lots of proteins and rice with avocado and tacos. The quesadilla is also cooked and filled well! Sometimes they have specialty tacos (cabeza, lengua) so if you like those, ask if they have them available. There is a salsa, sauce, lime station you can take the sauces you prefer back to your table to enjoy with your order. There is ample seating inside and generally is not too loud for how many people are dining inside.

I remember Pineda being better in the past. The tacos were ok not great. The tortillas were floppy and the seasoning seemed off on both the barbacoa and pork in chipotle. My Jaimica tasted watered down. Maybe I'm a taco snob because these were not that great.

Another quick and flavorful lunch at this friendly restaurant. The quesadilla with Barbacoa was fantastic, the meat is so tasty and tender, and you can top with the best salsa! Fast service, despite how busy they always are at lunch.

Great food at great prices, in a casual cantina-like atmosphere. Service is always fast, even when there's a long line. This is my favorite Mexican restaurant for a reason.

No frills Mexican food. They have a variety of combo meals, all of which seem to come with chips and a beverage. Lots of options for meat and salsa. I went with a very simple 3 taco meal, with Chipotle chicken. It was yummy, but the sauce was very messy. Also tried a medium red salsa, green avocado salsa, and mild with the chips. The green avocado was my favorite with just a slight kick. Was also very fast at lunch time.

Pineda is such a hidden gem in Plymouth. Their main location is in Minneapolis off Lake Street, but this is by far my favorite place to get tacos. I've been a frequent here for years and I keep coming back. I prefer this location because parking is a breeze. There is a huge lot and it's way less congested. Service is always prompt and professional. My favorites are the Al Pastor (BBQ pork), Carne Asada (chopper steak), Shredded pork, Pork in Green Sauce, and Barbacoa. I've had their chicken options but found them to be a little bland and dry. The rice and beans are pretty tasty. Nothing too spectacular but it makes the meal whole. They have a few different salsas to try from and they're made fresh in house! They're open 7 days a week 10am-10pm so anytime is a good time for tacos!

I love Pineda tacos! The variety means there's something for everyone, and I appreciate the option to customize whatever you want. I absolutely love the little condiment bar and salsa bar that they have in the restaurant so you can add whatever you want to your dish! Service is so fast and the quality of the food is so good, and every time we come in, it's such a fun place to be!! there's always a place to sit and more than enough seating! Highly recommend this place!!

Love my beef burrito and how you can grab whichever sauces and toppings you want as they have a stand for it next to counter.

Supermercado y Panadería Loma Bonita has quickly become one of my weekly go-to stops--part grocery…read morerun, part reward meal. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with a diverse selection of dairy products, sodas, and snacks that you don't typically find all in one place. That variety directly stood out to me. Unlike many markets that focus on just one country, Loma Bonita offers a wide range of products from across Latin America, including El Salvador, Nicaragua, Guatemala, Mexico, Venezuela, Colombia, and more. One area for improvement is pricing clarity. In some sections, particularly dairy, labels can be difficult to match to specific items. That said, the staff at the checkout counter is willing to assist with price checks. As you move through the store, the selection just keeps getting better: fresh cuts of meat, frozen goods from around the world, and ready-to-eat hot meals. There's even a paletero (ice cream stand) tucked near the back by the produce section. The produce department stands out for its range, availability and affordability. It's great to find items like culantro, yellow (ripe) and green plantains, papaya, guava, mango, nance, yuca, and malanga, along with standard produce. Having all this fresh and reasonably priced is a big plus. What is the reward of visiting Loma Bonita? Their restaurant food! I almost always leave with a "Burrito de Asada" or "Huarache de Asada". Everything is made fresh to order, though they also offer convenient grab-and-go options like whole chicken and Mexican rice. On weekends, the menu expands with items like menudo and tacos dorados, making it more enticing to visit. There are multiple Loma Bonita locations in the Twin Cities, and while this one may be smaller, it's still packed with great finds. Pro tip: For homemade tacos, get their fresh, handmade corn tortillas. They're a game changer!
