But the customer service was amazing and lucky for us the food came out so fast. I got a cheeseburger. It was a little salty, I would have loved some tomatoes and lettuce but it was good. The bread was fab. I hubby loved the hotdog and the French fries were fresh! We got a great little table out front in the shade. I will say it is right on a road, so I was a bit nervous with my daughter, but it all worked out. After eating we got ice cream. There are really two reasons to go to Dream Creamery: Burgers and Ice Cream Burgers: Smash burgers with lacy crispy edges, cheese and cooked onions, pickles and a bun that is ideal for all of that toasted perfectly. I will agree it is an extremely reasonable price for a smash burger and fries, but I did not care for the specialty sauce or how it paired with the smashed patty. However nope, ready in about 5mins. The fries, absolutely delicious, seasoned, and crispy; my favorite! The order is big enough to feel 2-3 people (along with their burgers). I got the Dream Burger, single patty. Thank goodness b/c after eating half my fries and and 1 bite of the burger, I was full. However, I pushed through and finished it off. The special sauce is good and has a slight kick. The burger is overall delicious, but the 1 downfall is given how saucy it is, things can get messy. Cut yours in half to minimize the mess. Stopped here on a Saturday night. Wasn't super busy when we first walked in but the line quickly formed and was a bit chaotic. Smaller space. Very small space. Most logical ice cream shops the line forms where the ice cream is and then moves down to the register. It was my first time here and I followed the 2 parties in front of me, moving to the ice cream. However the cashier started taking people's orders from the line while we were all waiting causing it to be more crowded up front. Plus people ordering food w/ ice cream or shakes were bumped ahead of us as well. So I guess know what you want before approaching the cashier, pay then wait for it. They have a few places to sit & eat outside but it was a bit busy. Anywho, didn't try the food as I don't eat beef/pork but I got the turtle cheesecake ice cream, it was good but I probably wouldn't go through all the hassle to go here again. This is such a fun little spot in NE. The staff is super friendly and welcoming, which sets the tone right away. The flavors are really creative, which made it hard for me to choose, but I ultimately went with the Peanut Butter Cookies & Cream and the Strawberry Lemon Curd. The PB one was super chocolatey and rich, and the lemon curd had a really strong lemon flavor that worked so well with the strawberry. Both were delicious! I usually love to come to Dream Creamery because they have some of the best burgers in the city but I was really disappointed today. It seems that the owner isn't staffing the location well enough, it's a typical Wednesday afternoon and the staff was clearly overwhelmed and it showed. After wishing 15 minutes to order, and another 30 after ordering my food I had to wait an additional 30 minutes to get my chocolate malt which I had to remind the gentlemen behind the counter of 3 times. Employees were frantically trying to keep up with traffic but it did t slow down. A message to the owner: making your customers wait an hour for food isn't okay, especially when it's fast food. Also I would consult your employees and hear from them how stressed they are and hire more help. You need it read more

Tried Dream Creamery and really enjoyed it! The Dream Burger was absolutely delicious juicy, flavorful, and cooked just right. The fries were great too, crispy and well-seasoned. There wasn't a long wait, which made the whole experience even better. The only downside was the ice cream flavor selection not really my vibe this time. My friend saw a review of Dream on Tik Tok, so we decided to check it out. It's a little place in NE Minneapolis and they offer a limited food menu and ice cream. I tried the Dream Burger and it was REALLY good. It is a 1/4 LB smashed beef patty with special sauce, garlic dill pickles, raw onions and American cheese. I added bacon because, why not! It was cooked perfect and super filling! It's a messy one, so grab a bunch of napkins. The fries were really good too and you get a X-Large serving to share. I did try the scotch-aroo ice cream, but it was so good that I forgot to take a photo. There is no indoor seating, but they do have some rail seats or tables in a massive pile of mulch to sit at. You are able to try the different flavored ice creams before deciding, but there are so many to pick from. I passed on the icecream this visit.... Over stomach capacity after enjoying half of my dinner. I'll need to give it a whirl some other time in the future. Overall, I thought the burger was tasty. My pallet thought it needed more grilled onions, lots more pickles, and less special sauce. Fries were perfection. I love the crispy golden brown and zesty flavor. During my short visit, I noticed staff maintaining the hydration water station/condiment station and cleaning up tables. Staff were also friendly. I could see how this spot gets busy as MN weather gets nicer and warmer. The amount of people driving or walking. by each and everyday this is a perfect spot for impulse icecream stops. Honestly one of the best burgers I've ever had in Minnesota!! The perfect double patty smash burger with cheese, grilled and raw onions, added bacon; it was sensational! Came at the recommendation of fellow Yelp Elite Squad member Ben K, his partner claimed it was in his top 5 and truly in my opinion he could be right! Saw some cool pics on social media, so we decided to check this spot out on a sweltering summer day! So glad that we did! In my opinion, some of the other reviews are a bit off-base OR the restaurant made some changes this season to greatly improve! Some outdoor seating available, but most of the picnic tables are kid-size. If you're interested in the burgers, I'd recommend getting it to go and eating at a local brewery or something! Took a trip to NE to try the craft ice cream at Dream Creamery. After reading that this was created by folks from Travail I was excited to check it out. I ordered a Fun Bun filled with Tasmanian Honey & Blueberry ice cream. The Fun Bun was an interesting vessel for eating ice cream. I enjoyed the concept. It was a titch bread heavy for my tastes. The website says the Fun Bun comes with a side of chocolate sauce, I did not receive any chocolate sauce, so maybe that would balance out the heavy bread part. We decided to combat the heat with an ice cream run. Even though I've lived near here for a while now, I find myself discovering great places that I should have visited long ago. I got the Spiced Pina Colada and the Everlasting Strawberry. My friend got Triple Chocolate Sea Salt. We were both very happy with the ice creams we chose. They were flavorful and smooth and didn't melt too quickly. The only downside is that they do not have lids. I didn't realize the scoops of ice cream would be so large, so I barely ate half of my mix and wanted a lid so that it would be easy to manage on the way home. I was given a smaller cup to place on top. This worked, though I would have preferred a lid. I guess most people don't leave with uneaten ice cream that's not in a pint container. First of all, this place is just the cutest little thing over in NE MPLS. small little restaurant, but packs a big punch of variety and flavors.
