Went in after a pool day with the fam. I love coming in and being welcomed like they know you -- that's always a great start! Burgers were on point, great flavor. I had the Butter Burger with Cheese and Bacon because it's summer and why not! So good. My little one ordered a burger but got it with cheese -- which she normally won't touch on a burger. But she just took it off and ate it happily, no drama! As a mom, that's a win. Being my husband's birthday month, he had his Chocolate Scoop reward and we had to try the Oreo Reese's Cheesecake Concrete -- it did not disappoint! It seemed slow inside and we almost had the place to ourselves, but the drive-thru was non-stop as always. This is one of those places we keep coming back to. read more

Came here due to the wonderful experience I had in Tampa. The one in Kansas City not so much:( I ordered a deluxe cheese burger meal which is supposed to come with; lettuce, tomatoes and onion. When my order was brought to my table it was just a bun, cheese and a burger. I brought my burger to the counter to make them aware of it, and instead of giving me a new burger they gave me the fixings on the side to put on my burger myself. The person I was with had one complaint, the cheese fires could've been warmer when they brought them out. Other than that the food was enjoyable. I also ordered a make your own concrete with caramel and pecans that was really good! Ice cream is a 10/10. read more

I've eaten here over the years as well. I think when new places open to the public they are on their best behavior and once the bucks start rolling in they forget who keeps them afloat by going to eat at their places. EVERYONE WANTS THE $$$$$$$ BUT DO NOT WANT TO CONTINUE WITH GOOD SERVICE. I am appalled at this behavior so that's why I cook my own food (Im Italian 100%) and I KNOW what is in my food unlike eating out. I have frequented many restaurants over the years since I was around 18. I'm 70 now and I rarely anymore go out to places to eat. I do love seafood and back in Virginia Beach, VA where I reside (against my better judgment I might add) I was going to the places that I know and have gone to before and I always get the same thing. We have a restaurant there called "The Shaking Crab" and believe it or not it's a Cajun seafood restaurant run by Asians! the shrimp are huge they don't fudge on them and the food is cooked to perfection every time I go there, which really, is the only place I go eat anymore, and that is seldom. The prices are so reasonable it's unreal. They recently hiked up prices like (I get two shrimp basket appetizers corn on the cob a veggie and hush puppies for $24.00. You get two sides with each meal. the very first time I went there I fell in love with the food and its always cooked perfectly and the people are so nice too. There's been a wait staff person a time or two who needed an attitude adjustment but we all have bad days so I let some things slide. Anyway, the wait staff, even management at Culvers don't care what happens if anything is wrong with your orders. I find that unacceptable so the best thing to do is "take names and smack down later" just in case someone spits in your food read more

I visited Kansas City recently and I was very excited to try Culvers as we don't have them in NY. I read online that same people even prefer Culvers to In and Out Burger. So I was ultra curious to come to my own conclusions. I noticed that this place doesn't really look like a fast food place on the outside; there are no bright signs or anything, which is great. And inside, the place seemed pretty cleanly maintained. So I ordered a value basket with a double butter burger w/ cheese and got cheese curds ($2 extra). Total came out to $14.08. Damn. Not exactly cheap for a fast food joint. So everything looked real good and I dug in. The cheese curds had a pretty good texture, but weren't anything too special. They were pretty much mozarella sticks, except smaller and made with cheddar instead of mozarella. But mozarella sticks are better. The butter burger looked really good. The first bite or two were pretty good, but after that, it seems like the burger kind of congealed together and wasn't too good afterwards. I don't really know what happened. I read another person on Yelp describe the butter burger as Shake Shack-esque, but worse. And I completely agree w/ her. In addition, I found a few gnarly looking hairs in my food. I'm not sure if they were hairs or maybe strands of a dish sponge or something. But unappetizing nonetheless. So in conclusion, the food wasn't great and it was very expensive for what I was getting. Some of the associates are rude. When you order, if it is not made correctly they will talk about you with no regard that you can hear them. They have also refused to make pints of the flavor of the day. Multiple times my orders have been incorrect. So check your order if you do eat here. read more

I have frequented Culver's for many years and recently I've decided not to anymore. I order my food specifically because of my diet and most of the time they'll get it right, but the last two times have been a bad experience. I complained about the issue but apparently it wasn't on their priority list of things to do. I made my purchase, went home to eat and my order was totally wrong again. Here on a business trip, so I stopped here for my first time at a Culver's. I ordered a double cheeseburger, med fry and a large onion ring. Once I went to the window to make payment, the young gentleman at the window was basically laughing and having fun with everyone around him and basically ignored me. When I asked for a receipt, he didn't acknowledge me, but turned away and continued his conversation with his co workers, printed my receipt, handed it to me, but still continued his conversation with his coworkers. I pulled slightly ahead and they handed my food to me. I was very excited for the food, but immediately realized the onion rings tasted like salt. Overall, not the best first impression. read more

I've heard great things about Culver's from Midwestern friends. Clean store and looked more like a restaurant than a fast food place with its blue and white stripes. First time ordering and I wasn't quite sure how it worked. The guy at the counter was unimpressed. I got the flavor of the month (peanut butter cookie dough) mixed in with oreos and caramel in the mini size (4 oz). The price was great at only $3.34. Could've used a little more peanut butter flavor. I was surprised when it was brought out to me that had a big "crater' in the middle from where the custard was mixed and could've used a little more filling. It was good, but not overly impressive. In the mood for a good burger and hadn't been to Culver's since I left Omaha. Walked and greeted by the entire staff and they were very helpful and friendly. I ordered a double cheeseburger deluxe with bacon, fries and a soft drink. Burger and fries were delicious and my only complaint would be small amount of fries for price of the value meal. Staff is annoying, they come bother you while your eating, yell at you when you come and go in a way that sounds "canned" instead of friendly. Lou's and overbearing. They seem to think it's more important to make you move out of their way to fill ketchup than let you as a customer have any. Told us it was heavy and we needed to move while we were filling our condiments. Then there's the food. I got the fish and it had a tiny stub of bread caked fish that was 1/2 the size of the tiny bun it comes on. For $32 I expect more. I could get a 3Lb steak for the cost of a kids meal a burger and a fish sandwich. read more

This is a great Culver's location. We've used the drive thru as well as dine in. The grub is good but the service is outstanding! Management is doing something right here and obviously training their employees to be top notch.
