I love Culver's and this location is no exception. I've had two perspectives for this place. I tried to eat here a few years ago and unfortunately the prices didn't make sense for me financially. Eventually things did get a bit better and I've been here a few times since. It's one of my favorite places to eat, frozen custard is great, burgers are great and so are the curds. I've never had an issue with the staff they've all been very nice. I've made some special requests here and they've obliged without a peep. Food, service, experience all was 5/5 I had a double butter burger with everything on it and cheese curds with a custard of the day ( snickers swirl) What an absolutely delicious experience, and it's not even just the nostalgic taste since I grew up eating Culver's up in Chicago, it's just the superb quality of the burger. Culver's is a casual burger restaurant chain that operates primarily in the Midwest. The first restaurant opened in 1984 in Wisconsin. The franchises stayed local in the 90's but now they are on a more aggressive schedule of opening 40 stores a year as they advance across the country. Normally when you order they hand you a number after you pay and you have to hang it from your door handle. You then pull up and they run the food out to your car. That seems like extra work for them as opposed to the two window system where you order at one and pick up your food at the next. I was the only car when I ordered so I was able to wait at the window for my food. I had previously eaten at the location In Port St. Lucie. Today I ordered the single patty sourdough melt with the cheese curds and a sweet tea for $10. The sweet tea was perfect. Next time I would get the double patty to fill the sourdough bread. Cheese curds were introduced to me last year by a friend from Wisconsin. Think a mozzaella stick but in a nugget shape. The ones I tried from here were delicate and crisp. The cheese curds here were hard nuggets. Next time I would just get the fries and stick to ordering cheese curds from a restaurant. Three stars for the food and an extra star for the sweet staff who is working during the pandemic so people can get fed. read more

I had heard of Culver's through various YouTube channels showcasing burger fast food joints. I decided to visit the one in Lake Park recently and order a butter burger. It was pretty good, but I'm pretty sure I need to stay away from butter burgers by fast food places and just order a bacon cheeseburger because I haven't found a restaurant yet overall that can do a butter burger that is magical like my friend Merek. Having said that, I do like this location that is on Congress across from Walmart and next to Aldi's. The area is clean, the drive thru is fast, the service is prompt, and the fries are crinkle cut and tasty. I will return for more burgers and other sandwiches, as well as some ice cream because why the hell not? read more

Found myself here at Culver's on New Year's Day as I spent a planned morning out that turned into an unexpected afternoon out as well. Since I was hungry after being out all day, I turned to Yelp for suggestions. I'm glad I did! This is the second time I've visited Culver's but the first time I've been to this location. I was cheerfully greeted when I entered the restaurant. The menu board is behind the registers where you place your order. There are so many choices. The cashiers were pleasant and efficient. Shaquita was quick to answer my question about whether or not I could get a gluten free bun at Culver's. (Yes!!) After you place your order, you're given your drink cup and a number to put on your table as your order is brought to the table. My Mushroom Swiss ButterBurger on a gluten free bun was hot and tasty. The gluten free bun held together while I ate my burger. At some places, the gf buns fall apart before I'm done eating the burger or chicken but not here. The beef tasted fresh and was delicious. The crinkle fries were warm, crispy, and lightly salted. While I ate, the same cashiers who take orders also bused the tables and chatted with customers. The atmosphere here is a combination of a old-time diner with quick serve food. The dining area is open and airy with large windows to let in light. There is also a large outside dining area with some tables with overhead covers to keep the sun away. The drive thru seemed to be busy the entire time I was in Culver's. I ordered a meal to take home for my son who I was picking up from work after leaving Culver's. It surprised me how fast the to go order was ready, including the milk shake I ordered for myself. The gentleman who brought me the order helped me arrange the drink cups in the carrier I was holding as I had a lot of things in my hands...milk shake, 2 sodas, bag of food....The milk shake was just okay, my only disappointment at Culver's. The food was good and the service was excellent so I'd like to come back again when I'm in the neighborhood. read more

Only once prior to this impromptu visit have I been to a Culver's. On both occasions, the purpose was for ice cream. Hence, I can't speak to the quality of any other food item they offer. I received a token at one of my races for a free 1 scoop cone or dish. It's been burning a hole in my purse for a year or more; therefore, I decided to cash it in being I was in the vicinity. I pulled up to the line and was given the option to park and order for curbside. I didn't utilize this option because the line wasn't too long and I was solo ordering only the ice cream. The gentleman who greeted me and delivered this option was very friendly and so was the young lady who took my order. I opted for a dish of the flavor of the day: Brownie Batter Overload. This flavor is vanilla based and has pieces of brownie paired with caramel, chocolate and I believe she said sea salt. The only other flavor I can compare it to is the one occasion before this and I tried caramel cashew. Let me say the brownie concoction can't even sit in the same section. I mean it doesn't hold a candle to the goodness of caramel cashew. Because my expectations were so high, I was slightly disappointed by the flavor. It was good, but not great! The best way to describe this place is to think of it like Chick-Fil-A but with burgers and malts! Everything is good. Burgers, chicken, shrimp, fish, onion rings, pretzel bites (!!!!), and cheese curds. You can't go wrong. The staff is very friendly and the facility is clean and well decorated. I arrived at the business to pick up an online carry out order for myself & a coworker... The drive thru line wrapped around the business but appeared organized & was moving at a decent pace. When I approached the front doors there was signage posted advising their dining room is closed due to a staffing shortage. A staff member promptly greeted me & asked if I was there for a pick up order & apologized for their staffing issue, she excused herself to go check on my order & w/in moments was back out w/our group order. This restaurant made me think that if (a five star) Wendy's and Chick-fil-A had a baby it would be Culver's! If I gained 10+ lbs, when I was in West Palm for the week, I BLAME CULVER'S. Granted it was well earned added weight. This is why I cannot live in Florida. The service was beyond belief! Maybe it's normal for Culver's. Maybe it's normal (if not a little above) normal for Florida. Let's just say that making an inside to-go order for eight people, they offered and helped fill drinks for me! Most competitors wouldn't even bat a lash at that! These employees were so polite, they even apologized for the price of my order. It's ok! I can take the hit! The dining area was clean and the food was great. Despite ALWAYS giving them a big order, NOTHING was ever WRONG! Food came out at a quick pace and with a smile. Great customer service. I got the fried shrimp dinner with fries and cheese curds. The shrimp were good but if you peeled the batter off they arent that "jumbo" but they'll pass. I liked the seasoning on the fries but the cheese curds I wasnt crazy about I thought they would be similar to a mozzarella stick where the cheese is softer creamy and melty. These was more like mini fried hard balls of cheese. My sister had the chopped steak dinner with mash and green beans and a roll. She said the steak was good could you a little salt mash wad good but the green beans definitely needed work. Roll was nice a soft. I love this location because the staff is so helpful and nice. There's one lady who usually works evenings who helped me order the best frozen custard I've had in my entire life: get a chocolate custard base, add peanut butter sauce and reeces crumbles, it's seriously so good.
