Jersey Mike's is a causal submarine sandwich chain. Founder of the company, Peter Cranco purchased his first sandwich shop in 1975 at the age of 17 in Point Pleasant, New Jersey. In 1987 he began franchising his sandwich shops. By 2015 the number of Jersey Mike's shops exceeded 1,000 and Cranco is still the owner and CEO of the company. I really love a cold sub for dinner when the summer heat makes me too lethargic to cook. Picking up a quick dinner sure beats turning on the oven. I was passing through West Palm Beach and late to get home when I discovered this Jersey Mike's location in the Palm Beach Marketplace right off I-95. As I am a Jersey girl I appreciate the New Jersey/ Point Pleasant graphics on the wall. You can order hot subs like a Philadelphia cheese steak, cold subs, sides, drinks, and desserts. I ordered the giant Super Sub with provolone, ham, prosciuttini, and cappacuolo. I really like that they slice the meat fresh for your sandwich. It's then topped and dressed the way you like it. The friendly staff who works here really hustled. I was in and out and back on my way quickly. They have a rewards club that you can join and earn points to redeem for free food. What I thought and knew would happen actually finally did even though a manager assured me that it wouldn't. This particular franchise location that was formerly owned by the founder's son was acquired by the private equity firm that bought the business. What a shame. What was once a terrific sandwich experience and location is no longer. The sandwich they made for my lunch the other day was nowhere near what it used to be. Sorry but they lost me as a loyal customer and I'm no longer going back there to support their business. The sandwich was pathetic. All bread, sloppily prepared and tasteless. They're obviously using the cheapest ingredients. So sad. I know it's only a sandwich for lunch but it used to be a meal to look forward to with enthusiastic employees. No longer. It's all about saving money. That's what private equity is and does. I'll go next door to the diner next time and have lunch there instead. read more

this was my first trip to Jersey Mike's. I don't go too many sub places so this was kind of different for me. I was struck by how clean and orderly the place was. That is a plus. Interesting reading about the history of the chain. I don't recall which sub that I had, but I thought it was delicious and at some point in the near future, I will go there again. read more

My coworkers went out to lunch so I placed an order for pick-up. I was so impressed with this submarine sandwich! The bread was very fresh and the amount of turkey was far more generous than I anticipated. I ordered the #7: turkey and provolone in the mini size. Don't let the name fool you! I added lettuce, tomato, oregano, honey mustard and red wine vinegar. This proved to be a winning combination. I was extremely pleased and will definitely order from here again. read more

This is the Buffalo Chicken Bowl with Mushrooms, extra cheese and bacon! You can ask for sauce on the side, which it's better so you can add as needed. Recommend! - Pro tip. Obviously, it's not some remarkable Italian deli but for a quick bite when you're in the mood for a sub, I don't mind stopping by here. Not to mention, Jersey Mike's has raised millions to local charities + the founder's story is really cool. The entire staff working today was very kind, quick, patient and pleasant. Anyway, back to the food.. Their produce, cheeses and deli meat they use is actually decent; compared to other sandwich franchises that specifically begin with an "S" are very bland and low quality. However, they need to hop on the toasting-option-bandwagon--or I would've given 5 stars. Somewhat new to the gluten-free life, about a year now--I was pleasantly surprised to find out that they now serve a gluten free bread! Not just plain sliced sandwich bread, but a nice sub roll! Always a good place to get a sub , but they are not sanitizing their tables after someone sits-down and eats at the table. They are not following the guidelines. You need fix this if your going to have customers dine in your establishment. read more

This store is AMAZING! The manager Savannah and employee Jade were incredible helping me with an order I needed for a very high end client that was flying out on a private jet. I needed everything rushed. Savannah was even willing to drive it to my clients herself and threw in some free cookies to help smooth over my clients. Friendly staff but we ordered our sandwiches over the phone asked specifically for no jalapeños on our large philly cheese steak sandwich yet it had jalapeños and more than ever i mean a lot . I like a good sub and Jersey Mikes makes a good sub for a fast food location. As with most franchise locations the quality can be hit and miss. This location is new and I hate to rate new locations as sometimes they need to figure out what they are doing. I can say this location came out of the chute running. I'm giving Jersey Mikes 4 stars because they have good bread, meats and you achieve points towards a free future purchase, once you reach the required point amount. However, often you will get a mistake on the order. For example i places an order And I didn't want tomatoes and preferred the white part of the bread/sub gutted to reduce my carb intake. Well I get in my car looking forward to my sub and it has tomatoes and never gutted. I didn't complain because I felt bad for the staff who are providing us with food during these turbulent times. I'm just suggesting please make sure you take the order correctly and that the person preparing the sandwich follows the order. Thank you!! read more
