I was waited on by a girl with cornrows who was working the register. I ordered chili and a burger. As I waited on my meal I tried to engage her with small conversation instead of us both standing there in silence. She just looked dumbfounded. She had an empty blank stare. Her facial expression was flat. Some questions about the menu items she couldn't answer. She could have been new. Her coworker would walk over and answer the questions and her coworker was far more animated and she smiled etc. But this girl.. wow she was awful. Why put someone who has less personality than a mannequin on the register? Her personality was as dry as the Sahara desert. In fact I've met tree stumps with more personality. So no.. I did not like my experience with her. She looked like she didn't want to be there and like she was very unhappy with her job or even having to work. From now on ill go through drive thru. But on a positive the restaurant has a much larger menu than what the drive thru ordering screen shows. They have pot roast dinners and sandwhiches, pork loin sandwhiches, chili and chicken noodle soup and a lot more items. I believe the restaurant is cutting itself short by not advertising these items on its outdoor ordering screen. The chili was fantastic. Thick, homemade, very flavorful. It was obvious that there was some training going on because the young lady that started my order failed to add the lettuce first, as soon as what seemed to be her manager realized I ordered a salad she started the order over herself. They had everything in stock including the fajitas veggies and salad dressing. I should have not been surprised but this is the first time in months that I have been able to get everything on my Veggie salad. Everything was cooked perfectly and both of our salads were delicious. We had a pleasant experience and will definitely be back. I now have a renewed confidence in this chain.
