I have been to this Culver's before and always had good food and service. Today I ordered a Sourdough Melt and ate in. The place is immaculately clean and the service is friendly. There were TVs in the dining room with sports on. The food was fresh, hot, and good. The condiment area was clean and the soda machine had plenty of carbonation. If I'm splitting hairs I would have liked to seen a little more toast on the sourdough bread. Personal preference! I will be back! read more

I wrote a review 2 years ago and gave it a one star. Would have given it no stars if possible. My complaint was about the restaurant not being kept clean. Well things have not changed. Went in on Sunday October 12, 2025 at 4pm Went around the restaurant trying to find a clean table. Every available table was FILTHY. Crumbs and soda spilled all over the tables. Trash on the floor and it was sticky. No ice coming out of soda machine. Employees doing nothing to clean up the place. I had to wipe off the table myself in order to have a clean place to eat. Horrible experience. We pulled up and ordered our food in the drive through with one person in front of us. We sat waiting for our food for 30 minutes. We watched more than 7 people get their food before us that ordered after us. Finally we confronted them and they told us that they are "starting it now". Culver's in Ellisville MO is a great place for lunch ! The food is delicious and the service was great! My wife and I stopped by and ate in. We had the Butter Burger Basket and the same with cheese. Both meals were doubles and served with a Gluten Free bun. The food was very fresh and always cooked to order. The restaurant was very clean which is important and rare for later in the lunch period. The restaurant has double lanes for carry out for faster service. The restrooms were very clean and well maintained. They also have a military/seniors/first responders discount which is always great! Just had a customer service experience at this location too bizarre not to share. We ordered our food in the drive-thru, and are pulling up to the checkout window. The car in front of us is still waiting on their food, and we need them to pull up just a foot or two so that we can reach the window. My wife, who is driving, lightly taps the horn to ask the driver ahead to pull up their car a tiny bit so we can pay, get our drinks, etc. At this point, the guy working the cash register opens his window and with a tone I can only describe as "substitute teacher trying to show their authority", says "Hey! They're fine!" and waves his hand dismissively at my wife for... tapping the horn? We look at each other genuinely shocked... a quick horn tap is pretty normal just to give someone a heads up in a situation like this. I then ask the window guy, "was it really that big of a deal to tap the horn that you needed to scold my wife, the paying customer?" Drive-thru man then chooses to double down, and says - I kid you not - "The kitchen isn't going to make your food any faster, and I don't need you honking at people in MY line, Chief!" I know it sounds like I have to be making that up, but somehow it was a direct quote. The hilarious irony of seeing a small guy in a blue apron and a drive-thru headset try to condescend his customers notwithstanding, I was stunned by the brazenness of this burger-flipper. He then informed me he is the manager of this location, so I told him to check his Yelp reviews later - to which he responded sarcastically, "what are you going to do, light me up on the internet?" To which the answer is yes, drive-thru man. Yes I am. The entire experience was so bizarre, it felt like we had to be on a hidden camera TV show or something. Needless to say, I will ensure we take our business elsewhere in the future. I love their mushroom and Swiss burger. Their French fries are always hot and tasty. Add a side of broccoli and you have a great meal. But the REAL treat is the variety of flowers and plants so professionally landscaped outside. I "think" these are the work of the owner's wife. Just returned from this store today Sat. Oct 8th. I ordered the shrimp basket and asked if I could upgrade from fries to cheese curds to which the attendant answered yes. Upon arriving at home I discovered that they gave me the fries instead of cheese curds. I can't tell whether they charged me for the upgrade or not but attached me receipt. In any event I'm not satisfied with my visit regardless of whether or not I was charged for the upgrade. I've lived in the Ballwin for five years now and this is the best restaurant to open in that five years. I've been to this Culver's probably a dozen times are more. Every time my family and I come here the employees are so nice and are willing to do anything to make are experience great. The food is always outstanding. Always hot and fresh. The burgers are in my top three of best fast food burgers out there. The cheese curds great. Hot cheese inside a thin crisp breading. The fries are nothing that great but most fries are not great. There just filler food. I tried the pork tenderloin sandwich today and it wasn't bad. I'm going to try other things on the menu but it's hard to get something else besides the burgers. The frozen custard is great you can't go wrong with chocolate are vanilla custard. Every day there's a different flavor of the day which you can try for free. I also like the fact adults can order off the kids menu. You can also get the flavor of the day as your free scoop of ice cream with your kids meal. In closing I am so glad the city of Ballwin let a husband and wife tear down and old bank. To build there Culver's that will serve this community better for years to come. read more

Asked if they had sprite. They said yes and put me down for a sierra mist. Not off to a good start but we try again. I ordered a mountain dew with extra ice. They gave me a normal ice mountain dew so i opened it up to look. It had a piece of dirt floating in it. So i threw that away. Now onto the food. 4 chicken strips were actually burnt. Couldnt finish them. Worst chicken strips ive ever had from culvers Spicy chicken was good except for the large chunk of light brown lettuce that i had to remove because it looked bad. All area Culver's have the same menu, but they are not the same. The people who own the franchises at Chesterfield, Crestwood and Fenton should stop by this one and learn how to operate a restaurant that would make customers want to return. It's very simple. My family and I visit this Culver's on Manchester Rd. in Manchester, MO every Tuesday after my grandson's (Alex) soccer practice. This place and the team are always friendly. The food is always good and the place is always clean. I wanted to specifically mention Michael, the manager. Culver's is our hands down favorite fast food restaurant! They have a big menu so I am not locked into a getting a burger each time since we come here every couple weeks at least. The battered cod is cooked perfectly and the burgers (my husband's go-to) are consistently tasty. Crinkle cut fries are really good, too. We know what to expect and they never disappoint. (The only item I didn't care for were the sweet potato fries when they were offered on a limited basis. I don't know what they were fried in but they had a weird after taste). Today we had the Mint Explosion frozen custard. Wow! How I wish it was available all the time. The employees are super friendly and it's nice to see some in their 50's and older. I ordered the Shrimp Dinner 2 Sundays ago. My first time, Eating at this place. I was irritated, 4 of my shrimp were raw in the middle which was a waste of money for me. I called the Culver's when I got home. I spoke with a manager, I was told there were no complaints they have sold thousands of shrimp. They took down my phone number and my name. They explained the owner would call me back. She has not, I will never go back. April 5,2017 Culver's owners on Manchester apologized in the sweetest note.
