We could not see how busy the rest of the restaurant was but we imagined it was fairly steady given the wait. Since we had not seen each other in a while the time passed easily and we didn't mind the wait. Staff was all nice and friendly and ensured that our water glasses were kept full. My Kickin' Bourbon Burger was pretty good, though the tots on the side were a bit underwhelming in terms of portion. Meanwhile my friend's portion of chips was taking over her plate and we were both looking for a bit more moderation in our side items! If you wanted something spicy, this is not the one! That was good for me but may not be what you were looking for. I thought it odd that I wasn't asked for what temperature I wanted my burger and probably would have appreciated it a tad less done than what I received, but overall it was a pretty decent burger. The bourbon sauce was tangy without being too sharp and the pretzel bun was good, if a bit manhandled in appearance.

It is a gem of a place with a fantastically friendly staff, delicious food, and awesome drinks. I was absolutely blown away by the quality of the food and the warmth of the surroundings. The sauce was initially a little runny, so I had to let it firm up a bit before picking up a slice, but it was worth the wait.
