Had a money mailer coupon for this location. Waited for over 20 minites in th drive thru line and was told by a rude girl that they did not accept my valid coupon. They wanted me to pay full price. I said no. Talked to a manager the next day (Sunny) and explaind everything and he said he would send me some coupons. Did not get anything. When I texted him back he said he sent them and that I was a liar. That I didn't make a purchasd. I told him I didn't buy at full price! He insisys I loed...really. This culver's is absolutely mediocre at night. My meal was onion rings and fried Shrimp. Arrived home opened it and the shrimp was stringy and chewy. This basically tells you it was not cooked all the way through. The onion rings are greasy and also not cooked all the way. This usual means they were not drained before shoved into the styro-foam box. I am so disappointed because I drove all the way there. Crap crap crap in the evening. Whoever works as the cooks in the evening don't care about the food that goes out. Why did I get butter with my basket? I was asked if I wanted coleslaw with my meal and I said yes and onion rings. No coleslaw, no bread for the butter that was in my bag. Do folks just eat butter now with a spoon? Ugh! At least the soda was decent. After I ordered, I drove to the window and the spaced out window kid handed me the two servings of flavor of the day and my drink; Then he placed a number on my car and said to pull ahead. Ya know, if I wasn't honest I just would of pulled forward..but, I said...so is it a free dinner day? He said, huh? Dude, I have not paid.....oh oh ya...nothing more...DUH! No thank you, nothing. The other person who was stacking cups also said nothing. What the heck people. I hope the flavor of the day has more than one blueberry and more than one piece if cheesecake in it. The flavor of the day is Blueberry Cheesecake. The best time to head over to this Culver's is only during the day. Period. I bought the flavor of the day a couple of days ago, Double Strawberry...of course it was after 5pm and when I parked to share it with my friend, it had two strawberries. I Guess that's why it was called double strawberry. Or the mix ran out and was not mixed correctly. I give this Culver's a half star for after 5pm staff. I would avoid this Culver's location at all cost. They have lost a loyal customer today. Awful customer service especially from their Hispanic manager at this specific location. My aunt ordered a fish sandwish and what she got was a beef burger. When she asked about it the manger came out yelling at her saying that she said burger not sandwich. After she tried to explain it to him that she pointed at the fish sandwich on the menu and probably said fish burger by accident (which even the cashier acknowledged was what happened) the manager got angry and threw the bag of beef burgers in the garbage and said "I am not making you a fish sandwich, leave the store or I will call the police". This is the first and only Culvers where I didn't want to finish my food. It was like I got the bottom of the bag if onion rings and the dish sandwich wasn't crispy and I literally got a mouth full of bones. Sorry, I had to update my review. Lately, when I visit Culver's I'm left unhappy. Especially, at this location. Each time I order their custard and after eating it, it leaves a waxy, greasy, coating at the roof of my mouth...gross! I used to love their custard but, because of that I now, only visit Andy's in downtown Evanston. I've never liked Culver's food and don't really have much of a reason to return. Had a small B-day party here for my daughter - 9 kids 6 adults. They set aside some tables for us ahead of time and even put the B-day girls "happy b-day " up on their sign! The staff never rushed us and treated us well. We all had sundays which were all brought out at the same time which I thought was great with that many people- they also sang Happy B-day! We even had an area out of the way to play pin the tail on the donkey and open gifts. Its hard to find the old fashion type of ice cream (custard) places to have a kid event yet this sure came close. The mangers - I'd meet 2 as I had visited twice before - where really great and helpful. The management and team member were especially helpful in regards to my son's dairy allergy. They provided an allergy menu, alerted the cooks and cleaned all the utensils in order to prevent cross contamination. WOW! That is white glove, five star service that I sincerely appreciate. Our food was delicious, fresh and cost less than $20 for 3 meals. Yum to butterburgers and mashed potatoes. Chicken Tenders and applesauce for the lil guy. We also did a survey and got a free scoop lemon ice, that was so good (next time try it instead of the custard!) For the first hour of my eating experience here, everything was delicious. The cheeseburger was cooked perfectly, the ice cream was as creamy as Jennifer Garner, the fries were salted to just the right amount and the soda was perfectly cold, The staff was nice and the ambiance was good. At 9:57 pm, I received a Concrete Mixer with chocolate, strawberry, and chocolate ice cream. My daughter suddenly at 4 am got very ill and nausea. At 4 am early in the morning, she vomited all across her blankets and her bed. I called Culvers and little they said for empathy. They cared more about their money and deceit from customers. My daughter honestly had a great appetite for Culvers. Today she is very miserable and has NO appetite whatsoever. I am very mad at Culvers that they do not care about my daughter. I love their onion rings..perfectly battered with a light sprinkle of salt and their root beer floats with frozen vanilla custard. You can't go wrong! I've tried their butter burgers and they're tasty. On the other hand, their chicken Salad sandwich was gross. I ate one quarter of it and couldn't finish it. I think I'm just more partial to having chunkier pieces of chicken in a chicken salad, but it was smushed together with a lot of mayo, and was not tasty even on the buttered toast. Went last night because I had a craving for their Reese's peanut butter cup custard mixer. There was no line, so I'm thinking 'sweet, fast trip.' I waited 15 mins for my mixer, and in the meanwhile the employees are too busy chatting and laughing with each other, making each other cups of desserts, and walking around. After my 15 minutes were up (I timed it), I walked up and asked for a refund. They were obviously too busy socializing to do their work. Good burgers, tasty, fast. We go now and then and really can't complain, nothing really special but the food is good. Our son goes in more than we do and when they see him they know just what he wants and they get it started. It's nice that they remember and can get an order right. read more

For fast food this place is great. I have been going since the day they opened in this location. Never had a bad meal here. Although its a little high priced, you get what you pay for. The cod dinner is fantastic and a favorite. Lackluster is the roll which comes with the meal, which is cold and dry. I haven't had good luck with the drive-through. Twice, they've forgotten part of the order. Didn't realize the second time until I got home with it. Went here with my kids for Ice cream. I ordered a vanilla cone and sat outside on the benches with my kids. The tables outside were dirty and sticky. My vanilla cone came out upside down in a ice cream cup, I don't know why they did this. With in 30 seconds my ice cream cone was dripping all over the place and Cone had a hole in it. Being a chain restaurant, you always know what to expect when you go in. The food is always good, however if you want a larger order of fried chicken (more than 3 or 4 pieces) make sure to call ahead or you'll be waiting a while! I've also noticed that my order is incorrect every once in a while but it's not a huge deal. My family and I usually go here just for the dessert, because we rather spend the same amount of money spent on salt food for more filling food elsewhere. But the hamburgers are great, I especially love the onion rings, way better than fries in my opinion! The tables are clean, and the staff is friendly as well as the 'drive - thru' person. I'm going to give 4 stars, because the food is good and we usually enjoy it here. BUT- We ended up coming here on an evening when a bus full of 8th graders came in. This was the most horrible dining experience we have ever had. The parents, teachers, and Culver's employees just let these kids act like wild animals. They just kept bumping into us and our table and chairs over and over and over, & not a single "sorry" was heard. The noise level and the profanities spewing from their mouths...
