What was I thinking!? I haven't been to Culver's in some time. I was having a late night fat guy stress eating moment and did the drivethru for a pork tenderloin sandwich, fries, and curds. Maybe things have changed, but I just wasn't impressed at all. The curds seemed overly breaded and the tenderloin itself was good, but the bun was a little harder and seemed to break apart. I told the Culver's people I wanted a salad. I also got a Small drink with my food. I tried a small sip of the Coke. And it tasted not good. It was like not Coke at all. I mean I would butt have even gone there for the free scoop! Oh how things have changed!! There new owner appears to have mostly cleaned house on old stale staff and bad managers! WOW! What a difference management makes. I have been here many times but stopped coming because the service was very poor. I went now because I saw and updated review here on Yelp. Again wow! The food was amazing and the service! Really good for drive through. There was even a delay in making something and the servers were not only helpful and polite but I got coupons for my next visit. I did not even ask for that, it was explained that they ran out of something and had to make more. I was surprised by the offer. The Onion Rings are great and of course, cheese curds! Honestly, what is going on with this place? I have been here 3 or 4 times the past month and a half, and EVERY single time the food has been extremely poor. The burgers a sloppy mess, and when we ask for fries to be EXTRA crispy, they end up completely undercooked and disgustingly soggy. How is this even possible? Even a new employee should know that this is unacceptable. At a restaurant where we already have to park and wait for our food, we wouldn't mind waiting a little longer for it to be done right. This location is more trouble than most Culver's locations. I have no problems at the Oconomowoc, Beaver Dam, and Hartford locations. I do not know if the staff in New Berlin is too young or too distracted. The young woman in the drive through window was laughing and chatting with the young man in the drive though windows and seemed busy with some other task. I went through the drive thru looking forward to a Buffalo chicken tender meal. I ordered the buffalo tenders and sweet potato fries. I eat the fries in the car ride home. At home I discover the chicken tenders are not buffalo. I do not like the normal chicken tenders. The texture is very different. The buffalo tenders are often juicy and tender while the normal tenders are dry and flavorless. I called the store and the first person I spoke too hung up on me when I said my order was wrong. I called again and the second person told me to hang on and I was transferred to a man who said I could come back for the buffalo tenders. I could not so he offered to send a coupon in the mail. He said the coupon would be sent in a week or two. I am undecided about ever returning since this is not the first time my order has been incorrect at this location. read more

The manager at this culver's is very rude. I had a food order last week and the paper bag and wrapper reeked of cologne! He said I'm not sure who that would be we had a lot of people on shift. I said, why not talk to all of them about not wearing cologne/perfume working with food. I went in this week and I could not believe the bag smelled like cologne again! I went in and spoke to the same manager and he said smells like a bag to me..... I took the bag and turned it around and said it's the top part where someone would hold the bag. I have had many positive Culver's experiences in the past, but this visit prompted me to write a review. We were busy packing up and moving our house, so I needed a drive-thru meal. I ordered a Garden salad and French fries. I was excited for my meal, as I have always thought Culver's salads were higher quality than other fast food salads. Unfortunately I was very let down. The lettuce was not fresh, cucumbers were soggy, and there was hardly any cheese or croutons on it. I figured I could salvage the salad with the dressing, which was supposed to be sesame ginger (my fav). I opened the container and thought there was something wrong with it. Thankfully I held off on pouring it on my salad because it was actually sweet and sour sauce. I can appreciate that the restaurant was busy with lunchtime rush, but I expected better, especially for that price. I will say that the French fries were tasty. This review is not meant to bring Culver's down, as I am sure I will be back in the future, but I hope they get motivated to pay more attention to detail and improve on the quality people expect if they need a drive-thru meal. read more

We go several times a week to get a concrete. About 50% of the time our order is lost. I am not sure how an order can be dismissed without it being deliverd. I live in New Berlin so this place is easy to get to. When it is busy the wait might be 10 minutes or so but in my opinion the food is worth the wait. I love custard so much I can't even explain it! When you are in the drive thru the wait can vary from 1 minute to 15 minutes depending on how bust it is. I have been going here since I was 4 and I have completely loved it! Came here at 630 on a Wednesday night. The drive through was moving really slow so we finally pulled off to go in after waiting 10 mins. The dinning was just as bad with a line to the door. They had like 7 employees all making custard and one cashier taking orders. The inside of the restaurant was also discusting. Not a single clean table and stuff all over the floor. Finally found a table I had to clean myself. We waited for a god 20 mins for our food. Finally ate it and went up for custard and same thing. 6 employees working around the custard and same single cashier with line to the door. Took 15 minutes to get to the register. When I go up there it just so happened to be that two managers were standing there waiting to take a till. So I said "do you realize this kid has been by himself with long lines most of the night". Her reply was "sorry we are short staffed". Um no you are a poor manager. Instead of chatting with the other manger why don't u get on a register and help.
