Don't order doordash from here. They immediately make the order and let it sit for hours potentially instead of making it fresh when the dasher arrives. Ordered at 6:15, they immediately made the order as "dine-in" at 6:19 and then it sat for almost 2 hours before my dasher arrived, and they refused to remake the order. So, first, we were extremely impressed with the culture: the greetings, attentiveness, trash retrieval, and cleanliness... But, the butter burger...sadly, it was dry and flavorless. The chicken tenders were, according to my friend, better than Raising Cain's. Another liked her salad. And the shakes were great, as was the shrimp sample. It's 4:30 on December 21, Sunday night. We pull in and the drive through is jammed. So we ate in. Inside there was one person giving an order , and we were next. We ordered a two piece fish and chips, and a spicy chicken sandwich with onion rings. We waited a while for our food. Fish was ok , coleslaw was good, fry's were cold. This is my favorite Culver's. Always clean and friendly and truly seem to want to help you. Service is always quick and the food hot. We've had the Butter burgers, Fish, shrimp, chicken (great sauce) and are SO in love with the "Concrete Mixers" (delicious frozen custards with flavors mixed in). Fast food done right. We are always happy to come here! The burgers are great, but the fish sandwich is amazing!! It's really just perfect! They also have cheese curds-a wonderful treat! My husband and I came to a Culver's after hearing how delicious the Walleye sandwich was. We had never been and we could not have been more impressed. That fish sandwich was so hot it burned the top of my mouth ( a good thing to me) and crispy on the outside while soft and moist inside with the right amount or tartar sauce and lettuce. The bun was toasted beautifully. Fries were fries. I meant to order onion rings because I had heard good things, but forgot. We decided Culver's would be our go to fish sandwich place. Now to today. My husband was out of town so I decided to have a repeat visit and try those onion rings. My Walleye sandwich was soggy and the whole dang thing fell apart at first bite. Lukewarm at best. The onion rings were stone cold and completely unseasoned. Ate about three. I just don't know what happened. If someone could give me the schedule of the cook on Sunday, I'll return every time. If not. I'll have to pass. I hate to tell my husband. I will say that the " crew" staff are great at customer service and the restaurant is spotless.I would say3.5 but that's not an option. read more

Went to lunch at this Culver's on Monday. We both had the Cod Platter. The service was quick and the servers friendly, but the fish was very greasy! We got a side of mashed potatoes, which were instant potatoes. We were quite disappointed. I wish I had gotten the frozen custard instead. As it it delicious! For a fast food burger fix this is the place to go. It's an upscale McDonalds. Their interior decor is more updated and they serve slightly better quality food. I haven't tried the infamous custard yet but I've eated their butter burgers twice and they are delicious. My favorite item so far is their chile with added onions. Wow! What a surprise! Had a strawberry shake and the fried cod with coleslaw. Lots of strawberry bits in the shake and super fast service (drive through). Fish dinner was brought to waiting area by a girl with a mask and gloves. Everything was delicious, fish was crisp, my only complaint is that I like my coleslaw a bit wetter but I suffered through it. . I have yet to go to the Port Charlotte location and get what I ordered correctly. Then typically they just give me what was missing on my order in a seperate box for me to put on my burger instead of remaking it. This has happened to me way too many times. One time it was a training manager who was very rude. I will not be going back nor would I recommend this location. They are not customer oriented. read more

I had quite the experience at this Culver's today. I stopped for a vanilla shake and ended up receiving that and a huge spider. It climbed in through my window and freaked both me and the two girls who saw it out. Thankfully, another worker was able to come and help me out. He got it out of my car and I was able to leave without feeling like a spider was going to jump on me while I was driving. Almost. I'm still a little nervous to get back in my car, not going to lie. This particular Culver's does an excellent job. Staff is friendly, patient and helpful and every meal we've had here has been prepared perfectly. It may take a few minutes to receive your order, which they deliver to your table, but that's because it's not coming from a warming drawer but is cooked to order. Food is tasty, hot and fresh. Free self service drink refills. And of course the desserts are excellent, so be sure to save room for one. The only down side we've noticed at this Culver's is that it's sometimes difficult to find a clean table. Other than that, we're fans of this place and appreciate the consistent quality. I wanted to check out if their cod was as good as what they claimed on their TV ad. I'm from a Canadian fishing village and had every intention of letting them know if their fish wasn't up to snuff. To my delight the cod dinner was perfect, nice white fish in a very nice crisp, not greasy batter served with crispy fries and Cole slaw. Way over priced and burgers aren't great. I paid $22 for two burgers, onion ring and two shakes. My shakes were half way melted and my bread was so soggy. The customer service is okay but the food was not! read more
