I've eaten at other CSC locations before and have always enjoyed my chicken salad choices. However this time I ordered the basil, lemon chicken salad and was so disappointed. Besides the fact that the flavor was shallow, there were no pecans in it. If there were, they were so chopped that they were almost nonexistent. I also had the grape salad which was fresh but I wish that had more of the toppings on it. My partner had the original chicken salad which he said was good but his side of pasta salad was dry. The service was good and the counter person was really patient. I always love the great down south atmosphere in CSC restaurants since it feels like you're sitting in a southern kitchen in your grandparents house. Sorry for the three stars but I come for they yummy chicken salads and was sadly disappointed this time. read more

This was my first time in a Chicken Salad Chick! It was just after 1pm and the place was still packed with a lunch crowd, good sign. I really liked the homey setting & I felt comfortable right away. I apologized to the cashier for being a newbie, but she very kindly helped me with my selection. A kind lady brought my food to the table, and the food looked fantastic. The Fancy Nancy chicken salad on a croissant was definitely made for me! I didn't leave a single morsel behind. Their sweet tea sure was good too, now I really sound like a true Southerner . I finally (have been wanting to since it opened) got to Chicken Salad Chick's last night 1/24/23 I love chicken salad and I was very pleasantly surprised! They have a nice menu with descriptions of the various versions of chicken salad, and a large selection of freshly made, packaged to go selections. I bought two of the $12.99 packages, two different varieties and took them home. They were great, my wife who is not as big a chicken salad fan as I am, said, I will take just a little taste and find something else. After the taste, she decided on chicken salad for dinner! We thought that this place was really scrumptious! Who doesn't LOVE chicken salad? We tasted several different flavors, & all agreed that Classic Carol was very soothing, like comfort food! The Sage chicken salad was also yummy, with mild sage flavoring it. I liked the brightness of the taste. The Cranberry Almond Chicken salad was good, but truthfully, I've had better. I've had almost ADDICTIVE cranberry almond chicken salad elsewhere. But this one was nice, but let's NOT be stingy with the cranberries or almonds! The salads were very good too. But I'm a SOUP-addict! Unfortunately, all the soups they had that day (3 rotating kinds each day) were filled with noodles, cheese, or possibly other starchy thickeners. I was disappointed, so I passed. I would've LOVED a good, tomato bisque! *Sigh* In all, I consider this a MORE CH HEALTHIER alternative to just about every fast-food place. (I think it just opened within the last month.) I have a group of gals that go out to lunch together every month. We will be going here next month. I prefer my chicken salad with little to no onion, no pickles, or eggs and not giant chunks of celery. It was perfect and delicious. I also can't say enough about the Broccoli salad.
