I WROTE THIS REVIEW TOO LATE!! I was finishing my meal and found not just a chunk but a huge load of hair at the bottom of my chicken salad. THIS WAS SO DISGUSTING! I did not have high expectations but I will say I did enjoy chicken salad chick! We ordered two chicken salads (kickin' Kay Lynne, jalapeño holly) with two sides pasta salad and the grape. It was super light and was a very light pleasant meal. The grape salad is to die for truly delicious and the pasta salad is your average cold pasta salad. Along with the a sandwich with buffalo barclay and two sides the broccoli salad along with fresh fruits. The fruits were fresh no complaints and the broccoli salad was also very nice. In my opinion the star of the show was the loaded potato soup, it tastes very similar to clam chowder and is truly amazing. I wish I lived closer to chicken salad chick because it is so good! read more

I've eaten at other CSC locations before and have always enjoyed my chicken salad choices. However this time I ordered the basil, lemon chicken salad and was so disappointed. Besides the fact that the flavor was shallow, there were no pecans in it. If there were, they were so chopped that they were almost nonexistent. I also had the grape salad which was fresh but I wish that had more of the toppings on it. My partner had the original chicken salad which he said was good but his side of pasta salad was dry. The service was good and the counter person was really patient. I always love the great down south atmosphere in CSC restaurants since it feels like you're sitting in a southern kitchen in your grandparents house. Sorry for the three stars but I come for they yummy chicken salads and was sadly disappointed this time. read more

This was my first time in a Chicken Salad Chick! It was just after 1pm and the place was still packed with a lunch crowd, good sign. I really liked the homey setting & I felt comfortable right away. I apologized to the cashier for being a newbie, but she very kindly helped me with my selection. A kind lady brought my food to the table, and the food looked fantastic. The Fancy Nancy chicken salad on a croissant was definitely made for me! I didn't leave a single morsel behind. Their sweet tea sure was good too, now I really sound like a true Southerner . I finally (have been wanting to since it opened) got to Chicken Salad Chick's last night 1/24/23 I love chicken salad and I was very pleasantly surprised! They have a nice menu with descriptions of the various versions of chicken salad, and a large selection of freshly made, packaged to go selections. I bought two of the $12.99 packages, two different varieties and took them home. They were great, my wife who is not as big a chicken salad fan as I am, said, I will take just a little taste and find something else. After the taste, she decided on chicken salad for dinner! We thought that this place was really scrumptious! Who doesn't LOVE chicken salad? We tasted several different flavors, & all agreed that Classic Carol was very soothing, like comfort food! The Sage chicken salad was also yummy, with mild sage flavoring it. I liked the brightness of the taste. The Cranberry Almond Chicken salad was good, but truthfully, I've had better. I've had almost ADDICTIVE cranberry almond chicken salad elsewhere. But this one was nice, but let's NOT be stingy with the cranberries or almonds! The salads were very good too. But I'm a SOUP-addict! Unfortunately, all the soups they had that day (3 rotating kinds each day) were filled with noodles, cheese, or possibly other starchy thickeners. Really enjoy their classic salad with chicken scoop. Simple food tastes great. I skip the pickle because they are a bit on the rubber side. I went in with my husband for dinner one night. The restaurant was clean and bright with lots of seating. They have quite an extensive menu and the service was quick considering how busy it was. (I think it just opened within the last month.) I have a group of gals that go out to lunch together every month. We will be going here next month. Meals are $10-12 ea. but they give you a lot of food and a free cookie for dessert. Very refreshing food - something different besides a burger for a change. I am particular about my chicken salad, which made me hesitate to try. I was very surprised. They offer a few different flavors of chicken salad, of which the classic was it for me. I prefer my chicken salad with little to no onion, no pickles, or eggs and not giant chunks of celery. It was perfect and delicious. I also can't say enough about the Broccoli salad. Ate here for the first time today. The food was excellent, I had a scoop of Sassy Scotty chicken salad with broccoli salad, my companion had Cranberry Kelly with broccoli cheese soup. Both came with crackers, dill pickle, and a cookie. Service was friendly and quick. Order at the counter, find a seat and they bring the food out pretty quickly. We arrived early and by the time we finished, there was a line. Apparently this is already popular for lunch. It's not inexpensive.
