My first experience at Culvers and it did not disappoint. I had never been to one before and only heard about online how you have to get their butter burger. I'm also a huge sucker for fish and chips and when I saw that on the menu I had to grab it. My wife also got the chicken sandwich with a side of the cheese curds. We loved all our items, the burger was great and the fish was cooked perfectly also. Our dinner was pretty pricey, but I think it could have come down a lot more if I didn't get the fish and chip meal (which I really didn't need to). That said, overall it was a great price, especially compared to fast food places where you get half the food for a higher price. The staff were also amazing, the man behind the counter explained everything to us (as it was our first time) and even made a few suggestions. The building was nice and clean. Overall I think Culvers earns a spot of one of my favorite fast casual restaurants. read more

Stopped in for a bite. Used the app to pickup inside. App is very easy to use and precisely customize your order. I got the deluxe burger which was perfectly made. Also a side of onion rings. Went inside and the very nice staff had my order ready on time. They had my drink and milkshake in the pickup fridge to stay cool until pickup. So yesterday I got a breakfast sandwich with biscuit. Biscuit was so hard and NOT FRESH that I could not eat it. It was also sticky wrapper. So I was pulling apart to eat what was inside when I found a long hair. DISGUSTING!! I did not have time to call about so I let it go. First time trying Culver's and I have to say I was kind if impressed...It actually exceeded my expectations for a fast food joint...This place closes at 10pm on Sunday and I got there with less than 10 minutes to and not only did I get in the store and put an order in but I got to sit down and eat...And, the shake machine wasn't down ! I got some tasty custard too lol...I got a build your own burger basket where you pick your own toppings..I got a double and I was surprised that it was that tasty...it came with crinkle cut fries that were decent too.. Food tastes great but I have to give only 2 stars bc of the employees. Its 5-7 teenagers, hanging out and your basically interrupting them to order food. Then one girl employee walked in and said, "I dont want to be here". Then proceeded to say how disgusting one of the custard flavors was. I would say there is zero supervision. The front door says "Proudly owned by the Crotch Family". The Crotch family should be there helping with the management. He is the most kind and caring individual ive met in a long time. hes so attentive and you can tell hes an extremely hardworker and he really takes pride in his job!! Come here very regularly, regularly ask for sliced cheese instead of shredded on my cod filet, they regularly ignore it, which is whatever, but tonight after ordering we waited a good 10 minutes behind someone just to pay, and the guy working the front was very short and snappy when we were ordering. I thought it was because they were close to closing time because it was close to 9 but online says they're open til 10.. anyway, half my pretzel bites were burnt and hard and inedible and the guy who took the order was the same one who brought out our two sundaes and forgot my concrete mixer. If I ever partake in fast food, this is where I go! The burgers are always satisfying with lots of toppings. They are made to order and taste like a burger should. I love their fries. Hot & crispy. This Culver's was staffed by the friendliest, most helpful people I've ever encountered in a fast food restaurant. Went through drive thru this evening. Told the person I had never been there before. She was polite and waited for me to be ready to order. When I got to the window I paid and was handed a number tent. I must've looked obviously confused bc she then explained to hang the tent on my car and pull up to the stop sign to wait for my food. This seemed odd since no one else was inside or in the drive thru and there were 2 or 3 employees there at the least. Lunch time quick meals can be tricky and I find that the chicken at Culvers is totally delicious. The burgers tend to be greasier than I like, so I stay away from them. The regular staff here, Kate, is exceptional. The fries are so good and the small is really a generous portion for one. Dining inside tends to be loud so not the best for a reading lunch. However, they do have outside tables and those are perfect on a cool day. The salads are also fresh. The best thing here is the desserts. I got a welcome to Culver's from a passing employee as I studied the menu and had an attentive order taker when I had decided on my lunch, a Culver's Deluxe and an order of their Wisconsin Cheese Curds. The way it works, at least for dining in, is you place your order and they give you a number to place on your table. Your food is delivered to you, in my case in under 5 minutes. Their food offerings are more than just fast food fare and it includes custards. My Culver's Deluxe was very good. The two thin patties of beef were well cooked, and combined with a good cheese and fresh toppings, made for a tasty burger. The cheese curds are easy to eat. read more

First time at Culver's. Not sure if this is a new one but looks like it, it was just too clean and too nice. The service is very friendly and the employees' uniforms looked really clean. It was lunchtime so it was rather busy but they also have drive thru if you can't eat in. When you order, they'll give you a number and someone will bring your food out. The drinks are self-serve and it's Pepsi products. Just make sure to empty your trays in the trash when you're done. I also used the restroom here, and was impressed that it was so clean and smelled clean. Their sign inside says it all. As for the food, it was good, greasy good, but maybe a bit too greasy and runny (my burger). I liked the fries and although I liked my mushroom Swiss burger, I'm not sure I would order again since it was so messy. The place itself is definitely above McDonald's standards but below a Red Robbin. They do have lots of items to choose from so that's a plus. I did ask out of curiosity (for my daughter) since there's a new Culver's in Gainesville, if they had any vegan items? They don't, only a veggie burger with onion rings. Since it's probably cooked all in the same grease it can't be vegan and the batter probably isn't either. But then again, there aren't any fast food places with vegan items.
