Every single time I go here they forget something in my order. Not sure why I haven't learnt my lesson yet?! I obviously need to open every single bag to check to make sure everything is there. Which is a pain in the butt when you have an order for a family of 8. Got all the way home (15 min away) and had to drive my happy ass all the way back because they forgot all my chicken tenders. What I ordered: A butter burger with cheese. What I got: a paper thin piece of charcoal with cheese. I sent it back and the second was just as bad as the first, but colder. Been going to Culvers for years... Stopped by this one the other day and the food for being fast food was good. Burgers were great. The ice cream they use is way sub-standard... texture reminds me of snow made from machines... while some dryness to the pallette is expected due to the powdered malt, the ice granules makes this much less tolerable. Nov 16, 2016. Last time I was here the malt was terrible. Proponents of Culvers had informed me that the concrete mixer was what they were known for. So, I've decided to give them the benefit of the doubt. My order was the limited-time Pumpkin Cheesecake Mixer. The mixer is very thick, similar to a DQ Blizzard. Right away the texture of the Mixer is much smoother and more consistent with ice cream. Not quite like custard or soft-serve, but close. A huge improvement over their malts. The flavor was less cheesecake and more pumpkin spice especially the finishing notes at the end. There were still hints of frozen ice, but much less noticeable than the malt. Overall a huge improvement compared to their malts, but still nothing to rave about. In light if their Concrete Mixers, I'm upgrading their rating from a 1 to a 2. read more

One star and that's because the shakes and Malta are amazing. Food is garbage. Wife and I got two burgers for carry out and they were sloppy and grease was basically leaking out of the bag. They have good food and great custard but their customer service and communication with customers is not very good. Me and some friends wanted to go their for some custard in the evening, so I called and asked how long their inside is open until and I was told 10pm. Me and some friends met up their at about 8:15 and they asked us to leave at 9:15. I said, "Aren't you open until 10pm? That's what I was told on the phone." I specifically called and asked so that this situation wouldn't happen. The young man then responded with "No we are only open till 9 so you have to leave" I do not believe that they close at 9. The person on the phone told me their hours and online it says they are open until 10pm. I think this was a case of the place wanting to close earlier than they are scheduled so that the staff can go home soon. Next time I will definitely be going earlier but they will likely want to close at 8pm next time. Definitely go early when they open so this doesn't happen to you. this place is the worst i have ever been to. the first time i came they forgot my cheese curds the second time they gave me french fries instead of cheese curds. i was there recently and i ordered theu the drive thru and they "didnt hear" half of my order, not a big problem because they let me order thru thr paying window but seriouly how can u not hear. once at the window the workers started wispering and then one said to shut the window since they were talking about us in the car. this is EXTREMLY dissrespectful and im strongly upset and dissapointed in this buisness read more

I can only talk about the frozen custard since I was brought here by my colleague for the custard and I was too full to actually try the food. It was pretty good and they have a lot of min-ins to choose from. I have a sweet tooth and it hits the spot when you really want a frozen treat. I'm a regular at Culvers both this location and Madison heights. I had a very bad experience just beacaus of a bad customer service by all employees I talked to. I did talked to 3 employees at this location. Including 2 managers. I ordered a double burger with bacon but came without bacon. I called, the employee attended the phone asked me to look at the bottom of the bun for the bacon, I looked again no bacon. She said sorry. I said I paid for the bacon she asked me to come back. I said I'm far away she said sorry. I asked for the manager she said the same and hung up on me. I called back another guy attended the call he said he's also a manager. When I explained he also said the same thing. I said I'm going to write a Google review he said buddy go head. Then I asked his name he said my name is Christopher Hill go ahead and write my name on the review too. Then I asked for the regional manager's number he said he doesn't have to provide that to me. I couldn't find a customer service number for culvers either. I still love the burger at Culvers. read more

My boyfriend has been a fan of Culver's for a while so I ran the plans by him. Eat cheeseburgers and sleep all day. Deal. We made it there. I got a double cheeseburger and him a double with bacon. Everything on them, fries and pops. When I tell you this meal saved my life that day. That meal saved my life that day! I couldn't even finish it and it was SOO good. Do not order the cod fish sandwich from the 23 mile location. I ordered this in the drive-thru. Took 10 minutes for me to even get the sandwich. Then it was so over cooked and greasy! I couldn't even eat the breading as it had a bad burnt flavor and it was so greasy that it soaked thru the napkins I was trying to mop it up with. If I hadn't been down the road I would have demanded the $5.50 I paid for this sandwich. I also asked for extra tarter sauce. The sandwich did not have extra tarter on it. When I was done eating what I could of the sandwich (and I ate it only because I was starving) I noticed hiding under the napkins in the bottom of the bag a small container of tarter sauce. First time there, Monday. Found the burgers dripping greasy, onion rings over cooked, cheese curds more breading than cheese. Chocolate malt had chunks of mystery stuff in it. Today was the first and last time I will ever go to Culver's. The commercial for their North Atlantic cod sandwich looked so good on TV. I stopped after work and ordered a cod sandwich and cod dinner. I did realize it is Friday and during Lent but I must have waited 15-20 for my carry out which I thought was much too long for a fast food establishment. Finally rec'd my order and went home to eat with my wife. We both could not believe how tasteless the fish was. It absolutely had no taste to it. I tried to doctor it up with their tartar sauce but that too was nothing to write home about. The roll I rec'd with my dinner could have been used as a hockey puck it was very hard. My wife only ate half of her sandwich, it was that bad. I paid just under $22 for the sandwich and the dinner and did not enjoy it at all. In my opinion McDonald's filet of fish put it to shame. read more
