Culver's---let talk honestly: 1) Your food is fantastic. My wife and I both love your burgers, fries, and custard. 2) Great restaurants succeed because of great products and awesome customer service. 3) Your Spanish Fork location does NOT provide good customer service. My wife and I went to the SF Culver's on Friday, October 7th. We order two double deluxe butter burgers (we had a coupon and an order of fries). I wanted my burger with no tomatoes or mayo and with added ketchup and mustard. The employee taking my order informed me that they could not add items, but only remove condiments, and that I could get some . I was confused---my wife and I have been to multiple Culver's locations and never have had a problem with food customization. I asked "can I not customize my burger?" The employee then proceeded to give an unnecessarily long explanation about how the cooks were familiar with the burger's preparations, what comes on the burger, and again how things could not be added. When I finally was given a chance to speak, I said, "okay...I think I'm good on this subject" and we proceeded to finish our order. The employee then said, "okay, so you wanted no onions, right?" I said, "no, onions are good." The employee then gave me my total (around $7) and we drove around to the window to pay. I felt a little condescended to, but decided to let it go and move on. After paying, the window employee offered us fry sauce or ketchup for our fries, upon which we said yes to both. The employee then gave us to small containers of each (which was weird to me---I would've put them in the bag with the fries when the food was delivered), and told us to pull forward to the drive-thru parking spaces to wait for our food. After a few minutes, I got the feeling that I should check my receipt to make sure that the order went through correctly. I was disappointed to see that "no mayo" was absent on the paper (though, to your credit, "no tomatoes" was clearly marked). I jumped out of my car and went inside, right up to the counter. While one employee was helping another customer with some kid's meal items, and while I acknowledge that the other counter employees were busy at the moment, it annoyed me that I was seemingly ignored for two minutes while the restaurant itself was NOT very busy (it was about 5:15 PM and very few customers were present inside. I held out my receipt with my arm extended, but no "can I help you" came. I finally said "excuse me...can you help me" to the nearest employee, who passed me off to another employee, who then passed me off to the drive thru employee I gave my order to. I explained that I wanted no mayo on my burger and that it looked like that was left off the receipt. Not had my food been delivered to my wife while I was inside, but the employee then proceeded to give me a long explanation about how the "no mayo" thing was missed, and seemed to insinuate (indirectly, not directly) that it was my fault. She made no offer of fixing the problem (remaking my burger) at this point. There was an awkward pause. We finally spoke again, and I said "I would like my burger made the way I asked for, please." The employee then took my receipt and instructed the cooks to do a remake. Shortly thereafter, my burger came out, correctly made with no tomatoes or mayo. No mustard packets were included (though we did have ketchup packets from our fry order). Bottom line---I never got what I wanted and ordered from the restaurant that night. My wife and I were quite annoyed. I have worked in three restaurants before and my wife has worked in two, including as a manager. We both feel that we know what good customer service entails. While we love your food, this experience was WAY off the mark. I acknowledge that this might be a unique occurrence, that other customers may have better experiences at this location, and that the drive thru employee may have a different story about this event. Nevertheless, we had a bad experience. read more

This location is the worst. The wait for 2 items at 5pm was 29 minutes and when I got home, I only had 1 item. Culver's food is pretty good but stay away from the Spanish Fork location, this place is run by completely incompetent people. read more

The butter burger! For a fast food joint, I'm a fan of Culvers. Great burgers, custard, and fried cheese curds. Service is friendly and the restaurant is clean. I've not had problems with crowds at the Spanish Fork location, but the one in American Fork...or Lehi...can get packed at busy meal times! read more

If I could zero stars I would, got in the drive thru which seemed to be advancing at a steady rate. I came around the corner and saw at least five cars with numbers on the door handles. I get up to the window and what do you know they are out of hot fudge for my malt but we're running to the back gave me number and made me pull forward while they made it was 15 minutes later they came out with our food, and guess what? NO MALT! When I asked about the where abouts the worker said "oh you had a malt?" like what the hell have I been waiting for, for 15 minutes. She proceeds to ask me if I want a free basket, no I want my malt. We finally walk in and the malt is sitting on the counter. They give it to us and it is full liquid. the whole experience was 40 minutes of my life that I will never get back. Never going again. read more

The food is better than other fast foods. The place is clean and the staff is friendly. I love their sweet potato fries! The shrimp is actually good, not lame popcorn shrimp. The salads are yummy. Next time I need to try the ice cream! read more

Service is always spot-on, which is impressive for a fast-food joint. The burgers are prepared fresh, which should always mean substantially better taste than your run-of-the-mill fast food (Wendy's, McD's, etc). The last two times I have been here, the burger meat was bland and tasteless. They don't put any mayo/sauce on the burger and I had to ask for it; they didn't offer it at any point, and it's all kept behind the counter. If additions aren't put on the meat, it should be amazing. Unfortunately, that hasn't been my experience. For the price, I would hope for better taste. Hmm...I must be missing something, I've eaten here 3 times and still it ain't all that great. I prefer JCW's. I ordered the mushroom Swiss double burger and it was SUPER greasy. Never tried custard ice cream, until Culver's, and I'm sticking with ice cream or even yogurt! Way too many teenagers working here....that wouldn't be so bad if they weren't all buddies and always messing around. So sorry I give 2 stars. read more

This place is great! The ice cream is awesome, and the cheese curds are highly recommended. If you are there and get the cheese curds, get a large you will regret getting a medium because you won't want them to end. the onion rings are really good too... I haven't tried anything else, but i have eaten these things multiple times, if these items are any indication as to what the rest of the food tastes like, they won't disappoint!! read more

I like Culvers.. You have to know what to order. The custard is their best option. They put too much salt on their hamburgers or they would be fine. Also you have to make sure to tell them what you want on your burgers or they come with nothing. The fish and chicken are just ok nothing special. read more

This is a terrible place to eat compared to other Culvers that I've been to. The cashiers did not know what was on the menu and we didn't get what we ordered. When our dessert came it was melted. I asked for a concrete mixer and it came with a straw! I am highly displeased and give it one star. read more

Sweet mercy these butter burgers are melt in the mouth sinful goodness. Don't come here for salads or onion rings. Stick with the butter burgers and concrete mixers and you are guaranteed to leave with a smile on your face. Guaranteed!!! read more

After our experience with this store I was sure that this was an isolated incident. Not likely. They didn't have anyone in the store, no one in the drive-thru but they still had us drive to the waiting spot Wednesday at 5PM. They never came out even after 5+ minutes. I drove backwards to the window and asked why it is taking so long. The girl that took our order had no clue. Finally someone else gave us our order. I asked why it took sooo long? She very arrogantly asked if I wanted to speak to the manager? Yes. Finally another girl came. Said she was the manager. She talked down to me, also. Why do we have to be treated this way? Never again. The Orem store people are so much better. This place absolutely S-U-C-K-S! The fact that the management does not respond to these yelp entries proves this store is run by IDIOTS. The burger was dry and salty. The only way i could choke it down was drowning it in ketchup which i had plenty because they didn't give me my fries i ordered. The cheese curds were also terrible and i couldn't even force them down without getting the ranch i asked for. Besides not getting half my order and hating what i did get i literally spent all last night trying not to throw up. Worst heart burn ever :( Never going back. Ever. I have tried this place twice and both times the food was way over cooked and cold. I'm not a big icecream fan so I don't eat there frozen treats but I do love a big juice cheeseburger & fries and this place just doesn't do it for me. Both times eating here I have had to wait for at least 15 to 20 min and I'm okay with waiting if the food is fresh and hot. Both times the hamburger was way over cooked and burnt. The bun was dry and the fries were greasy & cold. I wouldn't recommend eating the food here so maybe just stick with there icecream. read more

The food is ok, but not unique. I took my wife out for a ice cream treat the other night. We went trough the drive in at about 8. There were about 6 employees standing around talking. After ordering two medium custards we were given a number and asked to park. We waited almost 30 minutes for them to bring out the order. They served 6 people behind us before they brought out our order. I complained and the kid said they were understaffed. No apologies. It will be a long time before I go again, if I ever. read more

The big problem with dinner was waiting for 45 minutes. Ugh. And others waited even longer than I did. The food is OK, but I have been there for lunch and again for dinner and haven't found anything special. The burgers were lukewarm, not hot. And my shake was 2/3 full, with mostly just vanilla ice cream at the bottom. Save your time and money--go to Smashburger or Sonic or Five Guys instead. read more

We love Culver's! We went out of our way on a road trip to visit this location. Hours posted open until 10:00pm. We arrived at 9:35 and parked to go in at which time the employees we could see inside turned off the lights before we could get to the door. Usually we experience great customer service at Culver's, very disappointed and unprofessional. Unfortunately we would love to make this a regular stop on our frequent drive to and from Vegas but will no longer patronize this location. read more

We waited over 45 minutes for two burgers. The place wasn't that busy and there was no manager to help the high school kids with the orders. Our food was cold. This is a piss poor excuse for customer service and is asinine that we waited this long at a fast food place when you don't wait this long at a nice restaurant. Ate here Friday at 5:00 PM. Started to get busy with the after work crowd. Counter help was friendly. It took about 10 minutes for us to get our food (two burgers and a kids meal.) I understand they are new and busy because of that, so I'll give them a pass on the wait, and it really didn't upset me to wait that long knowing the circumstances. I asked for extra pickle and got one on top of the bun. Wife asked for no pickle and got one on top of the bun. Bugers were good, but just "good". Nothing remarkable about them. I'd rather have eaten an In N Out buger or a Smashburger. The onion rings were really good. The Cement custard was really good. I think I'd come back for the ice cream custard, but would probably go else where for a meal. A little more expensive than other bugers joints, which affects my decision on trying somewhere else. read more

Old fashioned burgers and fries. Their shakes are extra thick, so much so they need bigger straws! The fried cheese curds are delightful and their onion rings are proper battered and delicious. Only complaint is they are slower than expected. Not to cook food but to greet you and take orders. Lots of people in line and only one cashier. Other people behind the counter standing around. I wish I could give this place 0 stars but that is not an option. For the people that think I work for a competitor, that is not the case. For the people that say they just opened and give them a chance; I did that too. I have tried the place 4 times in hopes to have an amazing experience. The only thing that was amazing was... my wait, 30 minutes for two shakes( I could have gone to Costco bought ice cream and Oreos, gone home and had ice cream that wasn't melted, and for nine bucks for the two shakes they should be perfect, COME ON!) I was amazed that they could screw up an order ( same one twice, every time they have gotten the order wrong, maybe I mumbled). I was amaze d the service could be so bad. I was amazed that the people behind the counter dropped stuff into the ice cream and wipe their hands on their filthy pants and continue to make more shakes (how is that okay? ) I am amazed that I gave it four tries. Did the drive through. Haven't seen the inside. The food was top quality fast food. Burger was made with fresh ingredients. Fries were cooked just right and the sauce was great. That said, I didn't feel the extra two or three dollars for my meal were solidly justified. If you are a fast food connoisseur, this is the restaurant for you. From the quality of the service and the polished appearance of the outside, I am guessing this is a very clean and well kept establishment. read more
