The sundaes are good but everything is overpriced. The last couple of times we stopped by, our burgers were super greasy. We get that it's a butter burger, but maybe next time, less butter grease and more burgers, if there is a next time. And the wait for your food to be delivered at the drive thru is ridiculous. Asked for shrimp dinner for the price of chicken . When I get to window Veronica tell me she misunderstood and its $12.50! BS did I take a wrong turn and drive to Red Lobster!!! We celebrated national farmers day at this culvers this last Thursday, October 12 our Wisconsin Interest Group from Sun City Grand. We were about 40 or so people and we received excellent service. Stopped by late Sunday night around 8:30 and ordered two burger baskets. 15 minutes later our food finally came out. Burgers were over cooked to the point of being crispy and one even had a hole in the center so even more over cooked. Buns were dry and hardly any condiments on the burger. Tried the chicken and fish for first time. I prefer their burgers but the other sandwiches were not bad. Fish was fresh but can be a bit messy, just grab a fork. I went through drive thru this time and on one of az's 120 degree days this weekend was brought my soda and I watched it melt while waiting 5+min for food. For what I got I've experienced better. The bacon double had a weird taste, I think it was the bacon. Taste like it just got finished burning in grease. The buns are soft and buttery, but the condiments they put on there taste awful. The ketchup and mayo almost made me throw up. I love cheese, so their cheese curds are GREAT! I went There the other day. I waited in line in my car 1/2 hour and ordered three fish and chip meals. They brought one meal to my car. I asked for the other two and they told me my only option was to get back in line for another half hour. At the window I repeatedly emphasized three fish and chip meals. Well it is a good thing that the food taste good and the concrete was good too. The reason I say this is because you have to watch when you order and when you are eating very closely. I place my order gave the cashier my money. I gave them the correct coin but the dollars was more. This way I could get just dollars back. Well that was mess. Even the cash register toll them what to give me back just dollars and no coins, they were confused. I almost just walk out. Today i took my grandson for ice cream to celebrate his birthday. Even with not being able to eat inside or the patio the ice cream sundaes were great. When we got home Boden told his Mom: "That was really good ice cream!" It's custard not ice cream and I agree with him: "It's really good!" Our service was good and I am glad Culver's is making the needed adjustments to stay open during the CoVid 19 crisis. It has been unbelievably crowded since it opened but we finally decided to go in. Got our order in rather quickly. The food didn't take too long to come out. Finding a place to sit was difficult. The burgers are very good. There are a lot of good burgers places in the valley, Culvers is another choice. Everything on the menu looks good. Diners were eating more than just the burgers. When we first moved here last summer, I would have given this place 5 stars for what they are, fast food. The food was excellent and service was quick. We enjoyed Culver's and in fact gave up eating at our original favorite, In n Out because we felt Culver's was better. However, something has changed. In my last 3 visits, food was bad, cold and service took forever. Today, was the last straw for us. Culver's was promoting $1 a scoop for their custard. We thought we'd treat ourselves and on the day of the promotion, today, went for our scoops. I ordered 5 scoops to take home for family. I placed my order and held onto my number. I watched people who had placed large orders with bags of food that were behind me get their orders and leave. What was a full lobby when I walked in now was empty and I was alone. I had stood there and watched as a few of the teenage employees were standing around talking and laughing and I wondered, if they could stand around killing time, why weren't they getting my simple order. I finally flagged down one of these teens and asked him where my order was. I told him the last three orders of people who were behind me had already ordered and received their food and left. Instead of checking on my order, he gave me the lame excuse of, my order for the frozen custard comes from there and all the other people's food orders come from there, as he gestured towards the kitchen. I told him, those people had custard and milk shakes. He walked away. I waited again and no one was getting my order. Finally, I flagged down another person and asked for the manager. Emily, the First Assistant Manager, takes a look at my receipt and says it didn't show up on the monitor as an order because the person who rung me up, rung it as a "donation for FFA"?? And it did say that on the receipt. They got my 5 frozen custards in 3 minutes, yet it took 25 minutes. My husband who was waiting in the car with our dog asked me what the heck took so long did they have to milk the cows? Oh, as I was walking out the door, Emily rushes to give me a card to comp me for a meal. A few weeks back she did the same, which if it was a once in a great while problem is a nice gesture, but this kind of thing is happening more than I like. It is no longer fun to eat out and get what was once decent food. I don't want to have to be comped. I would just like it to be like it was before. Hot, quality fast food with great service. As we discussed this on the way home, we came to the conclusion, it's time to go back to In n Out. Maybe we'll try them again in the future to test the waters hoping for improvement, but for now, we won't be coming back for a long while. read more

There is a huge variety, so everyone is happy. They make their own root beer, which they combine with their custard to make a heavenly root beer float. This is the second time that I am so very Disappointed in this restaurant. I really had a taste for some fish and when I opened my plate it appeared that the fish was way overcooked was hard and uneatable. The fish tasted as if it was cooked in oil that had been used for everything that had been cooked that day and it was very greasy and tastes gross. I'm not going to go back to this Culver's again. Very disappointed in the quality of the food and also the price was outrageous. $12 for burnt up piece of fish the size of a domino and some hard french fries. This is a new location located in Surprise, AZ, and I recently had the chance to go inside and check out the new flat screen TVs and nice employees! The shakes and butter burgers are absolutely amazing. I've visited many times through the drive-thru and there is a little bit of a wait to get your food after you've ordered. Came to Culver's on Bell Road for lunch today. My Swiss and mushroom burger was delicious but my Mother's fish sandwich was a different story! The fish itself was great but, her Swiss cheese wasn't even melted and was cold, and she was charged forty cents extra to substitute the cheddar to Swiss, really? They were crowded,but still no excuse for poor service,crappy attitudes,and food that is worse is worse than any of the fast food places that I know of. Pretty good restaurant. I think I liked the root beer there the most. Got the sour dough sandwich and added some thousand island on it and it was pretty amazing. A little heavy on the grease though. My friends sandwich was a lot greasier though. Fries are nothing to write home about. Just basic crinkle cut fries and the onion rings were lack luster too. Got myself a pint of the mint oreo frozen custard to take home and try. Overall has a good atmosphere.
