My go to for a meatball sub. That is about all I ever get here, not that everything else is bad, but I just love the meatball sub that much. They seem to have new employees whenever I go and this causes for some inconsistencies in cleanliness and service. We brought to management's attention of the drink area being rough and it has since been really clean. I think the management cares and the food is good. Be careful buying the pickle buckets for use as a bucket for baseballs.... it makes your whole garage smell like pickles. Which was really funny. My husband and I went to this location on Saturday after 4 PM to order our subs before we ran our errands. The New York steamer sub was good, but my cheesesteak was disgusting . The cheesesteak was cold, not hot and the taste in the flavors was soggy, and I did not enjoy my sub at all and was very very disappointed. I got off of work thinking this location had the Thanksgiving sandwich. I went into the restaurant stood there for a good three minutes. Not one of the workers acknowledged me. I noticed one of the female workers eating behind the station of the prep line. I stood ready to order and was advised they did not have the sandwich. I ordered a steak sandwich and it came with some type sauce which I didn't order. My bowl of chili came out to be a scoop off the empty pot in a cup. They got some more chili out of the refrigerator and I had to bring it home to warm it up. Then when I went to eat it found some foil paper with the firehouse logo on it. I came here in the middle of summer, and as everyone knows, Arizona summers are dreadfully hot. The dining area's A/C is out, and has been for a while, making it almost 90° in there. It's awful. For whatever reason, I just don't like shredded iceberg lettuce. Large (12"), with coke (they have my favorite kind of coke machine... cherry vanilla is a weakness of mine), and chips combo, and a few cents to the firefighters foundation, $15.00 out the door. Also. They have a variety of hot sauces on the counter. I tried the firehouse brand and it's not bad. Very sweet. Not much spice. They have hotter sauces but no Dave's insanity. Tried it for the first time tonight and I've got to say what a waste of $44. Wife and kids got the Italian and it was gross. The ham was so sweet you couldn't taste anything else. It had provolone cheese which was bigger than the bread itself. Like my goodness cut it in half and put both halves in common sense. I had the New York and all I got was crumbled up meat which was place in the center of the sandwich leaving all the edges without meat only bread. And I saw an A rating from the health department. By what I saw with no hair restraints and this one dude with long hair flipping his hair around and running his fingers thru it was disgusting. I'm glad he didn't handle my food. I haven't been back to this location since I last left a review until today. I keep meaning to go again and update it, but I always forget because there's nothing in the parking lot I ever frequent. While driving home I really wanted a sandwich of some sort and Firehouse popped in my head. Parking lot was pretty busy and quite a few people inside eating. I was helped pretty quick by a young man at the register who spoke so quietly I almost couldn't hear him. I decided on the club on a sub I think it was called...I chose the small and made it a meal. There were a couple other boys working and they all looked so unhappy. My name was called and I picked up my sandwich. I will say my sandwich was better than my last visit, but not really my thing. I didn't realize it was a warm sandwich till after I received it which was totally on me. It was odd eating a toasted sandwich with cold lettuce. I'll most likely come one more time eventually. I hope service is a bit happier or friendly. I know everywhere is struggling with finding help....but a smile or hello goes a long way for me. read more

The food is good but they are horrific when it comes to delivery service apps. I gave them over 10 chances and no matter what, they never include my cookie or chips. They never get my sons drink for his kids meal. It's almost like they purposely ignore anything else in the order. When I get my order, it literally has the receipt that shows that I did order cookies and chips. I feel like the owner and management needs to review the feedback sent to them from these food delivery apps and remind their people to include the extras that we paid for. I've had a great experience very time. I always order the same thing, medium Italian and I've become somewhat addicted. I frequently visit another location near my work but I've had it delivered from this location using postmates a few times and the sandwich was in good condition each time. I've also dined in and gotten it for pickup. Good experience every time. If you're using a delivery app or going in to pick it up, make sure you TELL YOUR DRIVER to grab the chips/cookies/drinks because they only put the sub in the bag on the grab rack. This is true for EVERY firehouse -- they may or may not have a sign, I can't recall. I just keep seeing reviews about that on here and while there may be a better company-wide fix they could put in place for this, my suggestion is to tell your driver in the notes that you have chips/cookies/drinks. read more

Impressive place. So you get greeted by a chorus of "Welcome to Firehouse" by everyone as soon as you walk in. VERY clean and very nice location. The place literally sparkles. Now to the food.....Awesome! I had the medium Club on a Sub. It was great. The meat had a lot of flavor and the proportions were just right when it came to the meat/veggie/condiment ratio. I literally devoured it like I was starving. I then raved about it to my wife who got upset that I tried Firehouse subs for the first time without her...whoops! Moral of the story: Eat at Firehouse, but ask your wife if she wants some first ;) read more
