Went here as a special treat for one of the kids. They ordered the oreo milkshake. Service was quick, and they really enjoyed it! They also offered military and senior discounts at this location. The bottled water and fountain drinks were also nice, and cold. Would definitely come here again for the milkshakes. It was a bit pricey though, for the small- almost $4. So I wasn't the most impressed by that. We have yet to see how their food items are. Although I have very much enjoyed Culver's at other locations so if they are as good as the milkshakes at this location I feel I could confidently say the food would be also. Corn syrup is made from corn that sprayed with tons of pesticides because it is genetically made to be immune from pesticides plus they can kill the weeds by spraying tons of pesticides. Being from Wisconsin I grew up being a Culver's lover. They are regular stop for a quick bite to eat. Unfortunately this location doesn't stand up to the standards that Culver's aspires to. I stop regularly at two of the other Culver's here in town. This location has the highest price of all of them, the burger is not even packaged in the paper shell it keeps it from dripping down your arm and that's probably because this burger was so dry, and not even hot, even that the cheese was not melted. Additionally at the drive up order screen all the representative says was how can I help you, not "what can I make you fresh today". That is the reception I received at the other Culver's. Cheese curds and frozen custard are two of the best things Wisconsin has produced, in my opinion with Gene Wilder being their closest competition. Culver's has both cheese curds and frozen custard. I lived in Milwaukee, WI for 8 years, I chk consider myself well versed in the standard Wisconsin food culture. The only way to get better cheese curds and custard is to go to Wisconsin. My favorite thing on the menu here is the hot fudge sundae. Even in Wisconsin, I would go to Culver's got there hot fudge sundae over other custard stands. Culver's also has consistency in food preparation and quality among all their stores. Their daily custard special changes every day, and if there is more than one store in the area, they have different flavors as well. Their other food such as butter burgers, fish sandwiches, and soups are also good. However, I usually go for the custard. read more

Haven't been to Culver's in ages, but this was a great experience. I ordered 5 of the same thing, minus the drinks. This made it much easier. We were here in Tucson for a Chess Tournament. The burgers tasted great. Plenty of food and met the hunger needs of 4 young men. The fries were plenty. Drinks were good. Had phoned this order in when I left our hotel. It was ready by the time I got to Culver's. Payment was easy. Pickup order was easy. They had a carrying bin for my drinks and a couple bags of food for me. Nothing bad about this experience. I take the Ron Swanson approach to frozen desserts, which is to say everything that isn't ice cream is inferior. But their Bonfire S'mores frozen custard was so good! The chocolate custard actually tasted like chocolate, and I appreciate that it didn't turn into a melty mess two seconds after I got it. Wish it had more of the add-ins (chocolate pieces and graham crackers) but I wish that about almost any ice cream anywhere. Their coleslaw is also very good. I liked the double with mushroom and swiss, although I prefer my patties to be drier (more akin to Freddy's). But if "butter" burger sounds appealing to you, go for it! It has been said that Culver's is a MidWestern In'N'Out. I can see the comparison, but if we are talking burger-to-burger, In'N'Out has no peer (in its weight class, that is). No, Culver's offers much more than the standard 'burger,fry,shake" menu you find at In'N'Out. And although I like all that they do, I'm confident enough in stating they don't do anything great. But they are consistent. Let's talk the burger: More expensive by about $.75 than the Double Double, the Culver double cheese burger is very good. They flatten the patties on the grill, so you get a thin, yet still hardy, patty with a nice charred taste. Pickles, tomato, onion and lettuce with mayo finished it off. I've never had a bad burger. However, I've never been blown away by any burger at Culver's, either. So there's that. As far as the other offerings, they offer krinkle-cut fries that I could do better by going to Fry's. Nothing special and probably inferior to In'N'Outs very average fries. The custard (I'll respect the establishment and refer to it as custard, it seems like slightly higher quality soft-serve ice cream to me) is good. It makes for a good (but too pricey) shake, and their answer to the Blizzard, the Concrete Mixer, is better than a McFlurry (but also a lil high in coin). All of these things are good by themselves. And together, you won't be disappointed. But you may feel a lil lighter in your wallet. And that's my number one beef with their beef. I never feel like I'm getting quite the value I should at Culver's. The bare bones menu I mentioned of In'N'Out's is really the key. They can focus on making everything nearly great all the time. At Culver's, you (and Culver's) suffer from the paradox of choice. Where as at In'N'Out, you choose from one patty or two, at Culver's, you can make it a melt, or add mushrooms, or or or and and and. But at the end of the day, you walk out thinking maybe the extras weren't worth that extra two bucks. And probably didn't make the burger two dollars better or two dollars hardier. Look, if you're looking for a good burger and shake, or you want some fish and chips (see, they do that too! Too much dammit!) and a nice family friendly atmosphere, Culver's has you covered. Horrible service by the manager who is an older gentle man with tattoos (just so you know who I am not ok with). So I had immense surgery on my neck from a previous car accident and went to the drive through. The man in the drive through rushed us so badly and over talked and expected us to understand what in the world he was saying. After approaching the window and asking if the drink was correct, the lady.was sweet and tries pushing the drink through the window of the car. I get it after being out of work for 2 weeks I get it..but be excited to work again because we customers are putting money into your paycheck. Then the manager (after I asked for him), tries backing up the guy and gets angry at me for asking if the drink is right. How is this my fault if I'm paying for the meal and trying to be happy with what I'm going to eat? The manager gets more annoyed and tells us " well anything else you need today?!!!!" Such a positive experience that I felt the need to post a review! It was our first time there, the man who took our order actually was the owner so was super helpful when it came to deciding. I was delighted to have a Culver's move into my neighborhood, and I know that it will become a habit. I like the variety on the menu, and I'm sorely tempted every day by the flavor of the day sign outside the store. Takes real willpower to keep on driving. The food is fine, as expected for a chain and a little better than most fast food places. The salads are excellent. We had an interesting experience. My husband ordered the green beans as a side dish. They were cooked perfectly, but loaded with onions, which neither of us can eat. Since the menu said nothing about onions, we didn't know. He mentioned it to a young man who came to fill our water glasses and he took the dish to the kitchen and came back with one sans onion. 2nd visit, we saw the same young man behind the counter. My husband gave his order to the woman at the cash register and asked for green beans without onions. She turned in confusion to (I guess) her supervisor, and said "how do I ring that up?" The supervisor said, "it can't be done. We can't serve green beans without onions." My husband pointed to our original green bean server and explained what had happened. Everyone behind the counter shook their heads and said they didn't know how that happened because the green beans are premeasured WITH the onions. We just could not get green beans without onions. Then the manager-guy said that the only way that could happen was if they just had opened a new package of green beans and hadn't added the onions yet. Sounds to me like they COULD serve it without onions, and his response should have been," let's see what we can do for you", instead of "It can't be done." I usually like Culver's. However, our experience here wasn't good. First of all, we were greeted in a very friendly manner. There were three of us in our dining party. Two of us ordered burgers without buns. One ordered a regular burger WITH a bun. However, all of our burgers came out without buns. Also, our burgers didn't come with what a normal burger would come with - no pickles, onions, etc. Also, I ordered a side salad. When my meal came out, no salad. The server checked our receipt and there was no salad ordered or paid for. Strangely, though, it had been ordered when we were at the register. So, this Culvers opened around the corner from my house a few months back, and honestly- I hate fast food but being from Wisconsin I have grown up eating here and it always brings back a lot of fond memories and comfort for me. The butter burgers: they are wonderful. They aren't "greasy", they are butter burgers. The patties are always so fresh too. Their chicken tenders might be the best thing that ever happened to chicken. The custard: it isn't soft-serve, it isn't ice cream, and it's not gelato. It is custard.
