Our main dishes took over 30 minutes to arrive, and it felt like they only came out because we actively hunted down staff to ask. On top of that, our Caesar salad was missing. After waiting another 15 minutes for the salad, we finally caught a server and explicitly asked to cancel it. 10 minutes after canceling, the server brought the salad out anyway, saying it was on the house. By that point, we were already finished with our meal and turned it away. Kitchens get busy, and guests understand that. But setting expectations upfront ("Hey folks, the kitchen is backed up about 30 minutes today") or proactively offering a small courtesy early on would have changed everything. Leaving guests in the dark, ignoring a cancellation, and then offering an unwanted item at the very end isn't good service. I'm normally a generous tipper, and frankly, a tip wasn't deserved here at all. I left $2.00 strictly out of habit, but the front-of-house service severely let down what was otherwise a great meal from the kitchen.

We barely sat down before it was brought out. We tried each of their 3 sauces - all were tasty but for an overall favorite, we both liked the green (medium heat) Huscatay sauce. Actually the rice was very tasty before adding a sauce. Just the chicken improved by adding the extra flavor of a sauce. As usual, a crowd follows us, so by the time we left, a crowd was rolling in. But we'll come back soon and try something new.

Maybe we should have done the drive thru too. The dining area air conditioning was set too low for the 70 degree February day in Washington, UT. Waiting all that time for our food, we really felt the cold temp and after 10 minutes we wished we had brought our coats in with us.
