This place is one of my top 3 options for a burger place in town. The meat is always cooked right. It's not a smash burger if that's your thing. Always perfectly fresh fries or tots if you prefer. I've tried many of their fancy burgers but for the price and quality the standard one is my choice. You can alter any of your ingredients and pick from a variety of cheeses. If you like a buffalo chicken sandwich they have the best one in town! You can also get the buffalo chicken in strips. For salads, they have a nice green chicken cessation salad that you can add meat on top of. This salad is better than many sit down places in town. Some things I wasn't a fan of: the cheesy burger. It felt too greasy. Outside of that, not much to complain about and I've gone many times. Staff is always friendly and will bring you food and clean your spot. Well worth it! read more

We came to Wayback burgers because they had vegetarian options. We opted for a Cuban burger with an impossible patty. One thing that they could improve is offering vegan cheese. The chicken tenders and fries were good for my kids. The bathroom was clean. One of our orders was not made the way that we asked. They were quick to replace with a new order. Wayback makes a higher quality burger than the average place. And they sell tater tots! It doesn't get much better than that, as far as I'm concerned. This is a fast casual joint-you order at the counter, take a number and they bring your food out to the table. It's a little bit of a wait, since they make your food fresh, but it's worth it. Service is terrific-friendly and welcoming. I made a request to customize my burger and it was done happily, no problem at all. Nice new burger place. The burgers are juicy and cooked well. They taste great and are pretty big. I tried the Bourbon Bacon and it was solid, but my favorite was just the standard burger with the works. The fries and tater tots are good, and even better with fry sauce. Good coating to onion rings, crisp and near perfect, not sure worth $6.39. Chocolate shake should have had a larger mouthed straw to accommodate thickness. Seems larger straws reserved for beverages that don't cost nearly as much (negative) I have bubble tea straws at home. Facility clean and seating arranged nicely. Single counter is convenient. Consider senior meal or discount. Kids meal. Not a frequent visitor to fast food establishments. Price is in line with one another, just not in line with guests' purses. This is my second visit here. This is my favorite burger place in St George. These burgers remind me of the ones we used to get when we were kids. Fresh made with custom toppings. The burgers were great, tater tots didn't have much seasoning for "Cajun" flavored but they weren't bad. We were missing the fries in our order so we called them and they told us to come back and they would give us the fries but we live far away so it wasn't worth it to us to come back that night. I don't know what @ShaneD above is talking about with that review. This place is bomb! They do have refillable fountain drinks and free water with catchup right on every table. Great customer service from the 2 young ladies at the counter. But the food was horrible. Burgers were mediocre at best. They messed up 2 of them. No Cajun sauce the the Cajun burger and no mayo in the chicken sandwich that we asked for. All Burgers had no seasoning, I had a double bacon. And the watered-down Chilli cheese fries were disgusting. The hard working ladies really impressed us with there friendliness and quick to clean the restaurant. The hamburgers are good and juicy. You can build your own or select one of the signature burgers. The prices are pretty high for the burgers. But the fries or tots or onion rings and a regular drink will add $6.39 to your hamburger price! My wife and I had two double burgers. One with a drink and onion rings. We visited this burger restaurant on a weekend trip to St. George. This restaurant had about 7 tables inside and a few more outside to allow for more space. I ordered the A1 Steakhouse burger with a side of fried pickles. The burger was amazing because the steak was cooked perfectly and the A1 sauce complemented all the other ingredients in the burger. The batter on the fried pickles were fried perfectly and the pickles were juicy and full of flavor. Service was good because the chefs didn't mess up any part of the order and the burger and fried pickles were served in about 15 minutes. The restaurant's mood was pretty calm because there were not many customers inside and the food was finished relatively fast. The double bacon burger was absolutely to die for. They have a little bit of everything for anyone in your party from burgers to salads to hotdogs to fries and tater tots and premium milkshakes. We love Wayback Burgers! The customer service is excellent! Super friendly! Some of us are vegan and they have vegan burgers. If you're gluten free you can even order the burger as a lettuce wrap and we love that they use green leaf lettuce. Their fries are gluten free and you can let them know and they'll make a note. We'd love it more if they offered plant based cheese and mayo and plant based ice cream. Every time we eat at the restaurant someone comes by to ask how our food is and if we need anything.
