I've been coming here usually every 3rd Tuesday for lunch, since those afternoons I go up the street for the monthly St George/Southern Utah Veteran Coalition meetings at the Veterans Home. I live on the east side of St George and get around via Dial A Ride, or I would be eating at this fine establishment a LOT more! Ayways, I had lunch there this last Tuesday, I ordered their best cheeseburger, with rosemary fries and a small Dr Pepper / Rootbeer mix. The price is in the same range of other classy burger places such as Red Robin, so unknown why some people complain about the price - unless maybe they think it's still the mid 20th century? The service was slow. We got into the line and it took about 6-10 minutes to go through the line and get our food. I had to call through the microphone to get someone's attention to actually start ordering. When we got to the window, people just walked by, swept the floor, all while we were just sitting there. This place is a hidden little gem off the most frequently traveled streets past St. George in Ivins area. Look for the beautiful red mountains. Decent little place, tasty cheeseburger, and the hamburger patty is thicker than your typical fast food place. The toppings are evenly balanced on the bun. We enjoyed the ability to grab our own sauces. The choices included ranch, BBQ, fry sauce, and ketchup. Their fries are battered with good flavor with or without sauce. The bun is nice and plump. They have many other options we look forward to trying in the future, such as burritos, chicken wings, hot dogs, frozen yogurt, etc. The customer service was pleasant, business oriented, and easy to understand. Used to come here often when I was younger and things have changed since then. They have always had long wait times, that hasn't changed, and the food is okay but I haven't really explored it's menu. When The IceBox used to be in the small historic building and all they served were simple things like ice-cream, snow cones and nachos it was amazing. But now... The ice cream machines are dirty and rundown, the toppings section is the same, the menu is so big freshness is no guarantee, restaurant is dirty, seems like the love and spark for this place has left. :( read more

We were looking for someplace new to try and found this place on New Years' Day. It was great! It was clean, the people were friendly and the food was SO good! I had a Rueben and my husband had a BLT. The sides are sold separately. We each ordered tater tots with cheese but the portions are enough that next time we'll share one order. My Rueben was excellent! The rye bread bread was grilled to perfection. The meat didn't have an fat on it. It was just plain yummy. Even though everything has gone up in price, the cost of our meals was very reasonable. I had no complaints at all. We will absolutely stop in again next time we're out in that area. read more

Food was not good, burger had cold cheese and cold meat and a soggy bun. Could be the fact we waited for our food for an upward of 47 minutes. We order 2 burgers and a fry with 7 other guests in the restaurant. We arrived at this establishment around 11:20am. We just ordered tater tots because the prices are a bit too high to me. The tots were pretty good but the oil seems like it may need to be changed. After we ate I asked if there was a manager in. The young man said that he was the manager so [[HIGHLIGHT]]I asked him if he thought they could do a bit more to clean the place. He said, "where?" So I told him the light fixtures were quite dusty, and showed him the corners of the window sill at the booth we sat at that were very dirty. I said that the sauce area was quite dirty and he agreed.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I said that those should be cleaned every day to which he replied, "we do clean them every day!" It's only 11 something there's no way they could be that dirty at this hour. He then said that there are only 2 of them and walked away from me. No one working the drive thru or front counter, had to ring the bell multiple times for 10 minutes before one of the employees finally came out and took my order, then had to wait 30 minutes for our 2 burgers before they finally came out. The burger I ordered was Amazing! I would definitely recommend this place. The only downside was the wait in the drive through, which was abt 30 mins. However, the only two workers did an awesome job for the amt of customers they were serving and lack of additionally needed staffing. I've always had great food here, we love their burgers, we've had cheeses burgers, regular burgers, bacon burgers, pastrami burgers, and we always get their onion rings; my girlfriend wants to come here just because of the onion rings. I went through the drive through at about 8pm. There were 5 cars in front of me. It took 40 minutes to go through the line and get my food. I'm not exaggerating. The line would move and I would turn off my car and wait till it moved again. I spoke to the manager about this. He was nice enough and apologized, but offered no real explanation or solution to the problem. I ordered the BBQ burger. It was on the dry side. It wasn't bad but nothing special. I finally discovered a place in Ivins where they serve breakfast. It was hard to find a spot since I was staying at Red Mountain resort where the serve a hardy breakfast and wanted bacon, eggs and French toast to eat with coffee. I did not want to drive all the way to ST George so I decided to check this place out. This place has a drive thru and the building design looks really good. If your visiting Snow Canyon like me and want a breakfast spot this is the place. I'll definitely be back here when I'm in town read more

Great little burger joint with something for everyone! We stayed at Paradise Village and this little restaurant was right down the road a few miles. The food is good and the service was prompt. We were there around 3:30 in the afternoon and it wasn't busy at all - which we enjoyed. We tried the Green Chili Chipotle burger which was good, very mild along with the rosemary fries which were good. I see mixed reviews but our experience was very good both times we ate here. The service was friendly and fast and the place was clean. The batter fries were excellent, not heavy at all, very lightly battered and perfectly deep fried making the fries especially crispy. Pretty good small town food. Im pretty surprised that this place isn't a little more busy, but the location isn't one you likely run across as a tourist. I really love all their fry selections. Their battered fries, tots, and curly fries are all yummy. I've had the grilled chicken sandwich the last couple times and had a cheeseburger this most recent time and was really happy with the toppings that came on it. While I had high hopes for a cute little place, the food was really bad. We had breakfast. French toast was runny on the inside :(. It was not edible. I asked for hard eggs. I got barely cooked eggs. We also had hash browns. It was a frozen patty soaked in grease and overcooked. The lady cooking brought us out our food, no question if we needed anything else. Amazing service. From the softness in the ice cream to the juiciness to the burgers were immaculate. I ordered a cheese burger with a Pepsi and *muah* the ice from the Pepsi tasted as if it were carved by an ice carver in the Antarctic. The Pepsi itself was amazing. Tasted almost as if they went back in the time and brought back the first ever batch of Pepsi cola.
