All the toppings were excellent and the bun was as well (my friends refer to me as a "bun snob" and I usually like a Sheboygan Hard Roll but the Potato Roll was excellent). I took the order to go and it was about ten minutes until I got home so I was expecting to pop my fries in the air fryer but that wasn't needed as they were still very crisp. The malt was rich, thick and quite filling. The kitchen was full of employees and it looked like they were training the new kids which is a good sign for the summer. You will wait for your food as it is made fresh but I would rather do that than get some premade crap at a fast food joint. Overall, I would rate this as good as Wayne's Drive In in Cedarburg as the quality of everything was very good!

I originally came here for the Royal Crispy Chicken Sandwich. The menu photo made it look thick, crispy, and worth the stop. What I got instead was borderline comical. The "fillet" was so thin and overcooked it looked like it had been pressed through a mold and forgotten in the fryer. Dry, tough, and barely resembling an actual piece of chicken. And just to remove any doubt--I broke out my calipers (yes, literally) and measured it. The thickness was laughably undersized. This wasn't just a bad sandwich, it was objectively a fraction of what it should be. At that point, it stopped being disappointing and started feeling like false advertising. Texture? Like fried cardboard with occasional stringy bits of chicken. Flavor? Overcooked oil and regret. Value? Nonexistent. So I walked next door, grabbed a Big Mac, and immediately remembered what fast food is supposed to be. Juicy, balanced, fresh--it completely reset the experience. Earlier Taco Bell messed up an order and I told the customer I will make it right and went back to the store with pic of the receipt and I was able to solve the issue and make the customer happy at the same time. Qdoba had only 3 people working behind the counter for Saturday night, that's wild. There should be 1 person completing in store orders, another employee completing online orders, one employee completing the bagging and register, and obviously someone in the back cooking. I do realize how hard the 3 were working and customers seemed pretty chill but this will cost the company. Friday and Saturday at the very least have more than only 3 people working that kitchen. That wait was ridiculous. I will try and avoid taking orders from here unless I know I can get in and out fairly quickly. Culver's is just as busy if not busier and I rarely have to wait more than 5 min to grab my customers order. I'm sorry for writing a bad review but I felt I needed to say something because this wasn't the first time I had to wait and I'm sure the other people working DoorDash were just as upset. Time and money is very valuable to all of us. I want to mention that the two girls behind the counter are very sweet but I think they need a better leader to help guide them through the busy to help them be more successful. Mistakes and wasted time happen.
