Managed to get shuttle bus OK around 10.30am a little later than planned. When we arrived at the office, no car was available. A very surly woman then informed me it would not be ready for 3 hours! The guy then said they would get another car in about 30 mins. In total we were at their office for 90 minutes and as it's in the middle of no where we were stuck. A car eventually was returned and we took it straight away not waiting for it to be cleaned due to the shortness of time. We returned it at 5pm with no issues, a nice guy drove us in the shuttle bus back to MCO. They really need to up their game and become more professional. i would not use this company again.

We did not leave lights on or anything. Called priceless for help and got no assistance. I was told they need to contact manager. No one would come give us a jump start or assist. I was told if they come to tow their car it would be pricey. Luckily I had AAA. Upon arriving at their location I was told I would have to contact their manager Bana tomorrow. I talked to Nana about refund for one day and she said I had to email their office. That was my worst experience on rental cars. I will say they seemed pretty understaffed, so the wait times were longer than ideal when trying to drop off and catch a flight. Took a while to get the car as well since there was a line of people waiting for their vehicles. I actually messed up with our reservation and booked it for 7:30AM instead of 7:30PM and didn't realize it until we landed in Orlando. I called NextCar as soon as we landed and explained my error. I think I spoke to someone at a customer call center. They were very accommodating and courteous as I explained this was completely my brain fart error. When we arrived at NextCar from the airport shuttle they have, I was able to hurry into line, which was helpful with timing since the process did take a little while. The gentleman who helped me at the counter was also very courteous. I once again explained my booking time error and he was very helpful. We ended up with a compact SUV instead of mid-size, but I was honestly grateful for that since my initial reservation was essentially cancelled due to my error. I ended up adding the $12/day toll pass which was kind of a waste, but we needed to drive to Daytona and I was not familiar with the route/toll situation and wanted to be safe. They do place a $500 hold on your card and I can confirm that did fall off after a couple business days from surrendering the vehicle, as promised. You have the option to purchase their insurance or use your own. Thankfully we have Progressive and I already had that app on my phone. I logged in and the gentleman who helped me navigated to the information they needed. This wasn't an issue for me, but the guy at the window next to me was having issues with that part and seemed frustrated. So make sure you have proof of insurance - I think it was specifically the Declarations page. I def recommend double checking their site to make sure you have what you need prior to your travel. I'd say it would be a 3-star experience, but I added a star because of them being so accommodating with my booking error that I was very transparent about. The rental price was extremely competitive compared to all the rest, so I think it's a "you get what you pay for" type of thing. Overall pretty clunky and not sure if I would use them again because my husband is pretty impatient, but if you don't mind longer wait times for a lower cost, then it fits the bill. The reading was off the charts, 120,000 micrograms, meaning I had to have smoked 8 cigs in 4 min. Was charged $450 They claimed that I damaged a tire upon return. Tire had 11 shaved scratches on the sidewall that somehow did not produce a flat, yet NO DAMAGE TO RIM. When I picked up the car I was upgraded to this one, it was 10pm, dark and parked tightly between two other vehicles, I was told to check the car for damage and mark it, I checked for scuffs etc but would not have noticed scraps on black tires in unlite parking lot at night. Was charged additional $250 I called the company to complain and get refunded and they shunned me, refused to respond to my credit card company. Now they respond here pretending to want to help resolve the issue. DO NOT RENT FROM NEXTCAR FRAUDSTERS!!!

After hiring a van, to pick up some heavy products from a local Home Depot store to deliver them to my home, after taking the van back, this dumba$$ forgot to look in the side pocket of the door, to ensure I had everything with me. As it was getting late into the evening, the van was given it's usual inspection, and they confirmed the van didn't have any damage on it, or in it, and I was good to go. The following morning, I received a phone call from the gentleman who'd served me the day previously, and he informed me that I had left my wallet in the side door panel. After dropping off the van, and going back home, I didn't even realize I was without my wallet. I had over $800 in cash, my credit cards, my ID, my UK ID, as well as irreplaceable, and personal keep sakes within my wallet. "Hello, Sir. We have located your wallet within the side door of the vehicle you hired from yesterday. We have placed your wallet in our safe, for safe keeping, ready for you to pick up at your earliest convenience", was all I needed to hear. On returning to the store, EVERYTHING was still in my wallet. EVERYTHING. All my cash. All of my credit cards. My ID's, and keeps sakes. EVERYTHING. I thanked the gentleman who found my wallet, and who'd called me to tell me about my missing wallet, and, of course, I thanked him also by my insistence of giving him a reward for his honesty Losing my wallet would have been a HUGE inconvenience to me, to be able to replace the cards, and ID's. But the keep sakes would have been lost if it wasn't for their honesty (Unfortunately I didn't catch the gentleman's name for me to be able to give him due credit within this review. But I'm sure he knows who I'm writing about if he reads this). And for that alone, I give this company 5* Stars
