This place has gone down hill. My husband and I stopped for dinner on Friday. The place was empty, except for some golfers coming and going for beer. We sat at the bar. The place was dingy. There was water dripping from the ceiling onto the bar. My first thought was to leave. I looked around. The place wasn't clean. All the bar stools had tears in them. I really didn't want to eat here. So we ordered beers while we decided what to do. My beer was not cold. The bottle was but the beer was not. Anyway, we went ahead and ordered. The menu was a piece of paper. We had looked up the menu online. That why were decided to go. But not all the items listed online weren't on the paper. When I asked about it, they told us that yes, they knew but couldn't control the website because they couldn't get ahold of the webmaster. So, I ordered the fish sandwich, with onion rings. Husband got something that had sausage and tomato sauce. He told me it was awful. But he was hungry and ate it. My fish and onion rings tasted like a fry vat that hadn't had the oil changed in over a year. It had been over a year since we had visited this place. Because the last meal we ate here was just as bad. We will never be back. When we first moved to this area, we used to come to this restaurant a lot. Seat yourself was the first warning that things were going to be interesting. The bartender/ server tried, but the layout was clearly not designed for their benefit in doing both bar and table side service. It's possible the layout wasn't actually designed at all, that it just happened with limited attention to layout or atmosphere. The menus were crinkled. The table was almost clean (certainly the best available option). The menu said the pretzel apps were $5.00 but that's only during happy hour, they were actually $8.00. The Italian was loaded with meat and a great sandwich if a bit pricey. The fries were over salted. Extremely over salted. The burger was on the rare side, not that there was an option given on how we would like it cooked. Adding bacon was a wise idea to make it more enjoyable. read more

I came in with my family for a birthday dinner tonight. The staff were very friendly, you can tell it's a close knit community with the regulars. I ordered a burger with tots, the tots are definitely better than the fries. The burger was cooked exactly how I wanted it. Our server also came out with a piece of cake on the house which I thought was really sweet! read more

We had a party of four and none of us got a good meal. I heard it advertised on the radio and tried it for my birthday. None of us finished the meal. The fish had an nasty taste to it and the potatoes will over cooked and hard. The Chicken Alfredo tasted like jar sauce. The Caesar wrap was dry and tasteless. Made reservation for a wedding rehearsal dinner 3 months in advance with a waiter. Came in 1 week before to remind them and a waiter pulled up the reservation and confirmed. Last night when we got there, there was nothing. Tables were not set up for us. The waiter said, "I just got here I don't know what's going on." So he put a few tables together which was not enough for the number of people we had on the reservation. So we put the tables together ourselves. After getting past that and seated, we ordered. My food was not cooked the way I asked. Our food came out sporadically, instead of all together, which interrupted our conversations about 5 times. No one came out to apologize for the mistakes made. The food was "MID" and frankly I would not recommend them to anyone. The chef and crew changed over the past year and a half, so maybe that's the issue. Whatever it is, they need to step up their game. I was made to give a star on here otherwise I wouldn't have. read more

Tried this place cause it was close to home. Wasn't crazy about the buffalo chicken dip, very thick and to much blue cheese, bruschetta bread was good but nothing to rave about. Boyfriend ordered the sirloin and said it was pretty good. My chicken Alfredo was ok , pretty blan and not a creamy Alfredo like I'm used to. Honestly probably wouldn't order it again but edible. I would probably go back if I was having a few drinks and some apps. The view is nice. I'm sure we will go back at some time to try a sandwich and like I said its close to home. On multiple occasions I have not been served and walked out. Service here is terrible overall. I live in the community and used to frequent this place often. I love the food and atmosphere when they actually don't mess my order up and when I am able to get service. Tonight just was one too many times 4 servers sat at a table doing cutlery in napkins not once even thought about getting up. There was a party for Watkins school outside and people from that group had to walk to the bar to get served. Sorry this place is dunzo Ron and Ron Jr are great people however, this place is miss managed for this kinda thing to happen over and over. read more

I recently visited this establishment with my in-laws and family. We were first told no cream or milk for coffee. I ordered the special of the sirloin and was told 30 minutes later they didn't have any. My daughter's hot dog was tasteless and my mother in law did not receive her chicken wrap. We used to love this place but now will never go back. Very disappointing. read more

We had a really pleasant experience today. Kudos to Chloe, our server. We had wings as an appetizer and then fish and chips and a shrimp tortellini special for our meal. Although we came early, when they opened, the service was impeccable! Chloe got many self-serve tables in a very fast time period, but we watched as she managed all them as well as our own. Our food came out hot and delicious . We were offered more drinks and even checked on while waiting on our entrees. I was pleasantly surprised at the attentive and professional service we received. Each and every employee had a polite greeting for us, and we really enjoyed our early dinner here today. If you have the opportunity, stop in and ask for Chloe!! HORRIBLE SERVICE. No one greeted us when we walked in. We were told to pick a table once we asked about it. Most of the tables had not been cleaned up from the previous people who ate there. Our salads took an extremely long time and the ingredients on the salad were not what was on the menu. Entrees took even longer and did not come out at the same time. Then we waited a LONG time again for desert and the check. We were there 2 hours for no reason. While there multiple other patrons complained, were missing food, and charged incorrectly for their meals. We will not go back. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY. It Is THAT bad!!!!! read more

So you walk in and you think, ok, this is a nice place. I'd been here before. It was mediocre at best and I had to wait a long time on food and service. But our friends said it had changed and were happy for us all to meet up and try it again. You can eat inside, outside, or at the bar. We get seated fairly quickly. Some tables were full but it wasn't jam packed. Our friends met us about 5 minutes later. Then... we sat. No one talked to us, no one asked for drink orders, no one even acknowledged the fact that we were there. Thirty minutes later, finally someone came to get drink orders. And then... we sat. Finally got drinks, finally got appetizers (potato skins). Not great.. still had no silver wear, no napkins no salt or pepper. One hour and fifteen minutes later, we placed an order for dinner. Did you read that??? ONE HOUR AND FIFTEEN MINUTES LATER!!!!! I ordered a panini from the menu... oh sorry we don't have that any more. I ordered a wedge salad.. to be served before my dinner. I got a bunch of wet iceberg lettuce with sprinkle of blue cheese and some bacon bits. Not what I was expecting especially from the picture. Then before I was finished with the "salad", our food came out. I'd lost track of time by this point. My drink had long been empty as was everyone else's. My order was a club sandwich. I don't really know what was on that sandwich. Turkey was recognizable but not much else. My friends' ordered wings and asked that they be certain they were not over cooked. Well, they were overcooked. Dry and extremely crispy. My husband ordered fish and chips. He said the fish was good but the fries were cold. I will not be back for sure! The food is over priced, the servers were running around a lot but not doing much in the way of service, and God knows what was happening in the kitchen! read more
