Fresh hand made noodles are so amazing it is possible to book reservations and I suggest it if you have more than four people going it can be a bit of a wait but it's worth it. The souvenir the food can be a bit intense so I ordered no spice but did taste the spicy one and it was good but definitely up there. The staff is quick and attentive. Peanuts are served in alot of their soups so if you have a nut allergy definitely make it known.

Plenty of parking as it's in a shopping center. The restaurant is cute inside.. but I can see how others say it's small and limited seating. *Staff, the staff was friendly and quick! I was sat quickly, and attended promptly.. *Food, the food was great! Portion sizes were shareable from appetizers to entrees. Definitely best to go with a group so you can taste everything haha. It's not exactly family style but kind of. They give you smaller bowls for your soup. You can choose your spice level. *Ambience, it's definitely a cute little shop inside.. well lit, I would say it's best for all.. a family was there with their baby and the baby started crying and it echoed in the room which was loud.
4/18/26 - Went here with some friends for a late-ish dinner on a Saturday night. At the time we went, there was plenty of nearby parking in the plaza and our party of 5 was able to get seated right away. Parking situation may differ if you go in the middle of the day as it is in a plaza with a grocery store and other shops/restaurants. The restaurant is also on the smaller side in terms of seating so keep that in mind too if you go at a busier day/time. I ordered the beef noodle soup non-spicy. It's a very filling meal with good chunks of beef and a lot of noodles. I have a low spice tolerance, hence why I had to order it non-spicy, but I'm sure the spicy version is even better. Although the name of the shop is Cup Noodles, the noodles they use are definitely not as they are of better quality than you would get in an instant noodle cup. What stood out to me the most was how the egg in the noodle soup was cooked! It was fried and most of the yolk was cooked through expect for the very center which had a little pocket in the yolks that was a tiny bit runny. My friend also ordered a pepper fungus (woodear mushroom) for the table which was yummy and a good palette cleanser/flavor break while eating the noodles.

First off, finding the place was a bit frustrating. There's no clear restaurant sign, and since it's located in a busy shopping plaza with lots of other spots, it was hard to pinpoint. We ended up having to park and walk around for a while before finally finding it. As for the food, my wife and I found it a bit overwhelming. We ordered our dishes mild, but they were still much spicier than expected. A lot of the flavors seemed to revolve around chili oil, which made it feel less unique to us after a few bites. On top of that, the food was noticeably oily and on the saltier side, which made it harder to enjoy the meal as we kept going. To be fair, this style of cooking is rooted in Szechuan cuisine, which is known for its signature "mala" flavor--a mix of heat from chili peppers and the numbing sensation from Sichuan peppercorns. It's definitely a distinctive and authentic flavor profile, especially if you're not used to it. Overall, I didn't hate the experience, but I didn't love it either. If you're a spice lover, and the oily food, you'll probably enjoy it a lot more than we did. For us, it was more of a one-and-done kind of spot.
This place continues to WOW me, I went on a rainy cold day because I honestly was craving a noodle soup but wanted that homemade feeling. I ordered the Wonton soup and added a side of noodles because I wanted noodles and the broth was so decadent and rich in flavor. They even have a spicy chili oil that you can add if you like making things spicy. My husband ordered the spicy beef noodle soup and he let me try his, 10/10!!!! The broth was so delicious and had great chunks of beef that complimented the soup so well as well as the fresh bok choy. Con's: The place is small but feels nice and cozy Pro: Ample parking spaces as it's located in large shopping center.

This noodle shop has formidable spice levels that have been attracting all from far and wide. I ordered their beef noodle soup and requested it as spicy as possible. It's a quaint shop, very cozy and personable. The staff is nice and to the point, as they are busy to accommodate all. -- One quip is the pricing for the beverages: a fruit or iced tea will run you $7.50...I can't recall a restaurant that's asked this much outside of mocktails from Yard House or something. Outside of that, everything is stellar.

Amazingly authentic Chinese noodle shop. They are not joking when they offer the most authentic Szechuan flavors. Be forewarned that they do not mess around with the spices. I ordered "medium" and it was still a bit on the spicy side for me and I can normally tolerate spicy foods. My daughter ordered the beef noodle soup and the broth was just simply amazing and hearty. Service was quick from the time you placed your order until it comes to your table in their distinct cup. Just so you're aware, at the time of my visit, the whole shopping center is going through a facelift remodel so it can be a bit tricky to locate it after dark. But as soon as you step in it's bright/cheery and clean. They seem to do a lot of phone order and pick up so if you want to order and enjoy your food at home, there's that option for you as well.
4++ Small restaurant/ cafe located in a busy strip mall of Rancho. The place feels family owned/operated and as you might expect, they specialize in soups. Their popular soup is the beef noodle soup, but they do have a pretty solid variety of some other styles. It was my first visit and I was craving the beef noodle, so that's what I ordered. It was on a hot day, but that didn't deter me from getting this hot bowl (or large cup?) of noodle soup. I came in early afternoon so I was able to sit right away. I ordered the beef noodle soup, but had mine be mild. The noodles were chewy and the broth and other toppings were tasty. Just a satisfying meal that really hit the spot. Definitely recommend if you want quick/convenient delicious food - especially if you're in the mood for noodles. It really helps that the prices here are very reasonable as well. There are a lot of other eateries and services in this same strip mall and it's also anchored by a 99 Ranch Market. Parking was somewhat easy to find since there is a large lot, but know that depending on the time of day you go, there could be lots of traffic and you may have to park a little further away.
If you are looking for authentic Chinese food, this is your place! Cute little ramen restaurant. Nice ambiance, seating inside, ample parking and great customer service. We tried their fried rice with chicken and omg let me tell you the best I've tried. I also tried their chicken in chili oil. This was ok for me, it comes cold. I think if it were served hot, it would be so delicious. Overall good place to try if you are looking for authentic Chinese food.
The soup is by far the best noodle spot I've had they serve it in a metal mug so prefect keeps the heat the place is do quant I'm always back for more
This cozy and charming little shop was so welcoming and quickly filled up on the late Sunday morning that I came here. I ordered the spicy beef noodle soup and asked for medium spice. The portion was very generous and came in a large bowl. There were lots of noodles, and the broth was very flavorful. The beef was super tender and delicious. I'd definitely come back and recommend!

Cup Noodles is one of the most consistent restaurants I've ever been to. I've ordered online and dined in person, and every time I get the same quality food. It's hot, tasty, and the same portion all the time. The store itself is in the same plaza as 99 ranch. It's a cute little cafe looking shop. Sometimes there's a wait to get in, but the turnover is mostly quick. You can order through Uber Eats or online through their website. My favorite is how numbing and actually spicy the dishes are. I love being in pain, and when you ask for spicy, you will get spicy. My go to is the chongqing zajiang or the yibin burning noodles. I've also tried chengdu zajiang and the sour pickled mustard with shredded pork, the stir fried potatoes, and the chicken with chili sauce. All dishes were excellent. They were very filling and delicious. The prices are extremely reasonable because they give you a good amount of food and the quality is great. I highly recommend this restaurant. read more
RE Coffee has quite literally been on my to-go list for YEARS. and i just FINALLY tried it for the love of god. pictures of their matcha einspeiner have quite literally lingered in my memory, imagining what it would taste like from such a painful distance... WELL MAY WAS THE MONTH!! and i just found my new favorite matcha in LA. LOOK AT IT??? ITS BEAUTIFUL??? ITS GREENER THAN SHREK???? Once again, TikTok convinced me to try this spot! I went on a Sunday afternoon and was pleasantly surprised that there was no wait, I was seated right away. The food was sooo good! I highly recommend the Chicken with Chili Sauce; it was definitely the highlight of the meal for me. Nothing was overly spicy, but it did leave a slight numbing sensation in my mouth, which I actually enjoyed. Luckily, the cold Cumberland was perfect for cutting through the spice when needed. The only thing I'd skip next time is the brown sugar milk tea. It was too sweet and tasted a bit watered down. read more

Cool spot to try, but not one I'd add to my regular rotation. It's located in Rancho. A couple things that didn't work for me were the limited table space and the small menu. It doesn't apply to me but it's definitely not the place to bring a picky eater. The one waiter we interacted with walked a fine line between playful and rude... it ended up being an interesting experience to say the least. My favorite item was the spicy wontons! I found myself reaching for those more than my actual meal, which was the spicy beef noodles. For the spicy beef noodles, the noodles were great. The egg and meat, not so much. I found the meat to be majority fatty tissue.. which was unappealing to me. The broth had a kick to it; there were definitely layers to the broth. I tasted undertones of beef, cilantro, green onions and bok choy. I wish half stars were an option because this place feels more like a 3.5 than a 3. read more

The portion sizes were pretty decently big! I loved the ambiance of the place, it had a really nice noodle shop vibe. But even though the portion was big, it was mostly noodles and soup. This place is great! Cute/funny aesthetic, fast and attentive service, huge portions. I moved to Rancho recently from the San Gabriel Valley, which has the most authentic and affordable Asian food -- so my standards are a bit higher than most people in this area. I haven't really had good Asian food here yet, but I was pleasantly surprised that this place was actually decent. We got our food within 15 minutes of ordering, and the servers were easy to flag down immediately whenever we needed something. Like I said, the portions are HUGE, I ate about half and packed the remaining half, yet my leftovers still filled up the container to the brim, as pictured!! As an insane comparison: we went to Haven City Market the following day and I paid about the same amount for a portion that was less than my leftovers from Cup Noodles Shop!! Specific dishes: -Bean Jelly: not the best I've had but still pretty good! My friend who tried it for the first time absolutely loved it, even though she was having some trouble handling the spice. I thought medium spice was perfect for me. I found the jelly a bit too soft and the sourness to be overshadowing the other tastes. -Sichuan cold noodles: taste was A+, no complaints there, but I did find the noodle a bit too tough. I haven't been to those place in awhile but I've been seeing it on my feed there past weeks so I came back. My hands down favorite dish here is the chili chicken, perfect balance of spice, sweet, and savory. Before when I would go here I would lime to order rice but they didn't have it at that time, now they do so it made for a great meal. We also tried the mushroom chicken soup within was flavorful, not too salty, and pretty filling. The beef noodles soup had a good kick to it and had bold flavors. Service was pretty quick. You think that people would just come here to eat out of the obnoxiously large cup. While that's probably true for the most part the food itself can back up that hype. Noodles were slender and firm, the broth was delicious , meat tender, veggies were fresh. But what was the real stand out? That damn cilantro beef. It was such a pleasant surprise and one of the best dishes I've had in quite a while. That needs to be served over some rice and in the cup - SO GOOD. We got our food quick and new water every time the pitcher got low. The place was clean and a decent size lots of seating. read more

Me and the family wanted to try something new and this place didn't disappoint. We ordered the fried rice and spicy beef noodles. The fried rice was a little salty but the soup.... Yummmm! I Highly recommend this place if you like soups. It kinda reminded me of ramen. The beef was nice and tender and they bring it out right away! Came here for lunch, it was an excellent choice. The place was empty but the service, the food the restaurant itself was great. The 2 gentlemen working there were very friendly and welcoming. We were seated and they gave us time to look over the menu. They have a good selection on the menu. I went with the spicy beef noodle soup. The broth was delicious, flavorful and not too overwhelming. The beef was a little tough as it should have been more tender. Noodles were great, I didn't need to add anything else to my soup. Huge parking lot and restaurant is clean with plenty of tables. I will be back, service was top notch. read more

Amazing noodles!!!! Honestly it's one of those places where you are left speechless after the first bite! We found this place on TikTok and decided to stop by and give it a try. My boyfriend and I both had the Yibin Burning Noodles and level mild. And we also had the potstickers in the chili sauce. Their chili oil is what is in the majority of the dishes. It does have that numbing sensation but so good if you are into spice. Shoutout to our server who came by our table and made sure our noodles were really mixed in with the oil underneath. All in all good food. DO NOT GET IT TO GO. I just got food to go and was supposed to eat it in the car on the way home. everything was cold. Dumplings felt like they were just taken out of the fridge. I will have to go home and heat it up. Eating there is always great so definitely eat there if you want to try it. Take out was so disappointing. Food is flavor full and super warm when we eat there. We tried their chicken mushroom soup and it was amazing. The #5 is also super good and flavorful. Chilli wonton is amazing cause their sauce is so good. The most popular beef soup was mid. Not very flavorful, not enough broth. Meat was tender but not enough of it. Ladies that work there are super nice. Small place fast service. read more

Came as a party of two on a Saturday evening, pretty close to closing time. Ambiance It's a small shop with a lot of wood details, which I enjoyed. Also, the cups the food comes in are adorable! Food Chili Oil Chicken - A bit sweeter than expected but still delicious! The chicken was tender and juicy. Since it's a cold dish, it provided a nice balance to our hot entrées. Spicy Beef Noodle Soup - Pretty good! The beef pieces were on the chewier side, and the noodles were a little above average. Not sure if it was the cup, but the soup stayed hot for a very long time. Minced Pork Noodles (I think?) - I enjoyed this dish more than the beef noodles. It was a little salty, but the noodles had a nicer chew and texture. Definitely a carb-heavy dish. Service It was standard, nothing much to say. Overall I don't think it lived up to the hype, and the carb-to-meat ratio felt a bit off. This is a small noodle shop next to 99 Ranch Market. The decor is adorable, and the bowls and plates reminded me of the ones from my childhood . It feels very warm and welcoming. We ordered the Bean Jelly, Pepper Fungus, and the Spicy Intestines Noodle, and everything was delicious. The service was great, and I'll definitely be coming back! read more

Although the outside was under construction, the inside is so cozy and quaint. But let's get to the real stuff.. the food was SO GOOD. I literally slurped my bowl clean. As did my husband. The service was great and the food came out quickly after ordering, & we plan on returning soon. We talk about it often. read more
