Okay. This place is pretty darn good. We came here for lunch and the seats fill up pretty quickly. We ordered the Kimchi+beef tofu soup, Galbi/tofu soup combination, Seafood tofu soup, Spicy pork dish, Tteokbokki with cheese, and fried dumplings. The ambience was modern and the service was good. The food was delicious. We'll come back to try their other dishes. It's great to have a legit local tofu soup restaurant.

Finally a good Korean restaurant in the area! We got the clay pot bibimbap and the beef and tofu soup combo as well as the sweet and spicy chicken. We enjoyed everything including the side dishes. The servers were very nice and we were seated quickly even though it was busy. The only thing that I would pass on is the dessert pancake (Hotteok). It tasted like they just reheated something frozen which was disappointing because I was hoping for the light and crispy ones that they make on the streets of Korea but this was thick and hard. I have some frozen ones at home and they taste the same. Anyway, I am so happy I don't have to go the OC for legit Korean food. Totally recommend checking them out!

FINALLY, SOME KOREAN FOOD IN RANCHO ITS ABOUT TIME. no, I'm not talking about Korean barbecue... I'm talking about SOUP, nice, warm, delicious, comforting your-grandma-made-it-with-love SOUUUUP. I constantly drive to OC just to get traditional Korean food, ESPECIALLY tofu soup. First of all, it makes me feel healthy when I'm eating out so.... that's a plus. Second, it's freaking delicious. You will always catch me at BCD my butt is chronically in their doors. I need something to fill in that 30 mile gap in Rancho, and this place, definitely hits the spot. It's not going to be the greatest (to be fair i only tried the soup none of the other rib or noodle dishes) but the service is quick. The food is hot and the price is amazing considering that all the different meat options are the same price regardless. I get nice and stuff for 18 bucks, and it makes me feel a warm and cozy inside. I am definitely bringing my almond mom back here, her little health nut heart will be just as giggly and happy too :P

Such a wonderful Korean spot! The service was quick, the food was fresh and high quality, and there were so many great options to choose from. Young was especially kind and welcoming, he even remembered me and greeted me with a big smile when I came back for my second visit, which made me feel genuinely welcomed and taken care of. Great food and even better hospitality. I've dined here 5+ times and I've never been let down!

They still have a sign for soft opening. Inside- decor is clean and modern and aesthetically pleasing. Seated quickly and food came out fast. I ordered the combo of vegetables and beef rice bowl on hot stone with oyster tofu soup (medium). Spice level is perfect. And all the flavors tasted good and correctly. Food came out hot. Banchan selection is not as good as I'd like but flavors are good and they refill frequently without asking. Prices are high but it's similarly priced as other Korean tofu houses. Portions are slightly smaller than a similar restaurant in Diamond Bar and Rowland Heights.

Came here for lunch with my family on a Friday. We were greeted and seated right away. We ordered quite a variety of items. Braised beef special - so flavorful and tender, kind of pricey though loved the burnt pieces on the skillet Beef rib- thick, good quality, great flavor and not too fatty marinated dumpling- surprisingly tasty noodles with beef - one of the best I've had yellow corvina combo with beef and octopus tofu soup - My son inhaled all of this and didn't really share lol Service was attentive and friendly. We received our food quickly and they offered to refill the banchan. The restaurant is bright, modern and aesthetic with lots of seating. Overall the food was very good, pricing was a little higher than other places but quality, service and portions were definitely there.

Young Dong Tofu House is one of the newest Korean restaurants in the Inland Empire, serving authentic Korean comfort food with a modern atmosphere. The space is cozy, the staff is incredibly welcoming, and the menu has so much variety that there's something for everyone. Whether you're craving BBQ, tofu soup, or noodles, this is such a fun spot to share with friends. What we tried: Marinated Dumplings: 8.5/10 A great way to start the meal. They were flavorful, juicy, and perfectly cooked. Spicy Braised Beef: 9/10 Tender, rich, and packed with bold flavor. Definitely one of my favorites. BBQ Beef Rib (Galbi): 9.5/10 Perfectly marinated with a great balance of sweet and savory. So tender and delicious. Beef Noodle: 8.5/10 A comforting bowl with flavorful broth and tender beef that paired perfectly with the rest of the meal. Yellow Corvina + Beef & Octopus Tofu Soup: 9/10 The tofu soup was comforting, flavorful, and full of fresh ingredients. The combination of seafood and beef made it especially satisfying.

I enjoyed how spacious and clean the place was upon arrival! What better way to cool down in 100+ degree heat than to order a medium beef tofu soup :p It was extremely yummy and satisfying to my craving. The waiter was really nice, but I think the service was slower than anticipated because I raised my hand 2+ times when my friends & I wanted service. Another customer had to point out that we needed help. Overall, I would go back though!

We stopped in for dinner the other night. You will find ample parking available. The restaurant itself is quite charming, warm and relaxing. We found out it is family run. Mom and dad are in the kitchen and their daughter is working the front of the restaurant. We started off with warm barley tea, which I love. The bachan was so delicious. I loved the cucumbers that were more like a Japanese tsukemono. We got a seafood pancake. It was large and delicious. Filled with so much seafood and also not oily or greasy. We also got an order of marinated dumplings. They had a mochi-like texture but a little on the spicy side. So addicting and delicious. My friend got the rice with spicy seasoned squid stone pot with a ham and sausage tofu soup. The stone pot was so tasty and the egg on top was perfection. The tofu soup was really hearty with the ham and sausage. I got a yellow Corvina with a clam tofu soup. There were so many clams in the shell. They were so tender and flavorful. I love tofu soup and this one was really good. I never had corvina before but it was such a clean tasting fish. I couldn't stop eating it. Wonderful service and delicious food will make this your Korean comfort go-to spot!

I'm excited Youngdong Tofu House is here in Fontana!!! I frequent the Chino Ca location ( not sure if they are affiliated) Ample parking shared with other local businesses in the area. Excellent customer service from when we stepped in the door, each employee with in proximity had a big smile followed by a pleasantry greeting. Beautiful Asian influence decor with bamboo slats on the wall and Korean traditional murals . Definitely order the spicy tteobokki had lots of flavors and the rice tubes cooked just right, this is one of my daughter's favorite dish and she was impressed . The seafood beef tofu soup was a bit milder in taste for our liking , it's lacking the savory flavor from the beef broth and umami from the seafood. Portions of the Banchan sides were skimpy at first, I understand why? Not many people like all the different varieties so a taste test to see which items you like best and can ask for more of that particular Banchan . Makes sense from being wasteful. We asked for our favorite Banchan and I kid you not, lol!! They were not stingy at all, The tiny dishes were piled to the rim. Yes we devoured three more times . ( disappointed the kimchi miss the mark for us, either it needed more time to marinate or needs more salty sour flavor. ) Galbi ( Korean beef short ribs cooked on a bed of onions on a sizzling hot stone plate . It is another one of our family favorite at any Korean restaurant we frequent. To make comparisons to other restaurants we had before, at this location the Galbi was a miss for us. ( Will try again maybe due to the soft opening faze and chefs need to fine tune their flavors) Our waiter was attentive with drinks and Banchan refills. She also noticed a mistake with our Galbi Korean beef short ribs order , what was brought to our table was a one/ two person size, we didn't received the correct family size portion. We did question amongst ourselves about the price and portion size lol!! Before the waiter made the correction and informed us they gave us a smaller size than what was ordered. Minutes later she brought us an additional plate of Galbi to make it a family size as our original order. Will we be back? Of course!!!!

Was happy to finally see a Korean chain restaurant move into Rancho. I'm a big fan of tofu soup, and their tofu soup is very authentic! The store is pretty spacious, and the interior decor is interesting as well. This is a pretty kid-friendly restaurant. They offer chopstick helpers for kids who need assistance using chopsticks. I went around lunch time during a weekday, restaurants were about 70% full. Only two staff members are working in the front during my visit, covering orders, cleaning, and payments. They were running nonstop, trying to keep everything under control. So when my cup ran out of water, I had to get the server's attention for more water. Overall, the food is great, service needs improvement due to a lack of # staffs available.

Came here last week with my hometown/childhood friends, very happy with the experience :) We came on a Saturday at peak dinner (6pm) and were seated immediately! No waitlist that day My friends' entrees arrived IMMEDIATELY, we were so shocked at the speed! The tofu stew came a little later (still very fast: within 10-15 mins of ordering), which we joked was funny because it's their main dish but took longer than the proteins haha I had the beef kimchi soon tofu, and though I asked for mild I believe I might've gotten medium since mine was WAY more red than my friends' who also ordered mild HAHAHA we said it must be because I'm Korean and they assumed I could handle the spice! One of my friends had the corvina & clam tofu stew (mild). My other friend got the kalbi & octopus tofu stew (mild). The side dishes were good too! Staff were friendly and helpful! Our waitress brought out barely tea for us, and even brought us a plastic bag for my leftovers without us asking!

It was our first time trying this restaurant (chain) and I've been seeing so many Yelp friends eat here! We decided to try it out on a Friday night, as part of their soft opening. Parking was in a lot with other restaurants nearby, with a lot of the spaces being occupied. We walked into the restaurant and were greeted by numerous people. We were immediately seated in the corner for a party of two. Two servers attempted to take our orders for beverages and food, but we had to tell both that we needed a few minutes. After browsing the menu, we decided to order their galbi combo with kimchi beef tofu soup. We sat there waiting for a while for the food to come out. Majority of the seats in the restaurant were occupied by large groups. The interior was nicely decorated with traditional murals and clean lighting. There were five side dishes come out with our rice. Forgive me for not knowing the names, but we had kimchi, pickled cucumbers, a cabbage salad, seaweed salad, and bean sprouts. We actually finished 3 out of the 5 side dishes since we were quite hungry while waiting for our food. Our soup finally came out, and we devoured half of it before our galbi came out. At this point, we still weren't checked on about refilling our side dishes. After eating most of our galbi, too, was when someone asked how our food was and we asked for a refill. Instead of a refill, we got 5 side dishes again, although we didn't finish the leftover 2. Sorry to say, we wasted that, when we wanted specific refills. The food itself was phenomenal. It's now to have good Korean food in Rancho Cucamonga, when I'd normally have to drive down to OC to get it. It's nice to have it open so close by. Understandably, the service was lacking. We were still chewing and enjoying our food when they gave us the check, seemingly wanting us to leave so they can be ready for possible customers. I'd like to give them the benefit of the doubt since they are still working everything out, but I'm hoping service will be better when I come back again.

When we were getting ready to leave, we noticed grease coming from underneath the BBQ grill and all over the floor. It had gotten all over my son's shoes and my boyfriend's shoes. We told the manager, and he said he didn't see anything. The restaurant is really dark, and honestly, he didn't really inspect it. I had to pull out my phone and use the flashlight just so we could actually see the grease underneath the grill. He told us they recently changed management and that he had nothing to do with the previous management. When we asked what they could do, the only options were $40 off the bill or we could send them the bill for getting the shoes professionally cleaned. At that point, we just took the $40 off and left. We didn't want to have to keep going back and forth with them, especially when the manager wasn't even willing to properly look underneath the grill. I'm not looking for anything from the restaurant at this point. I just felt this was something that needed to be reported, so I submitted a complaint to Environmental Health. Hopefully they can inspect the equipment and make sure this isn't happening to other customers.
