After our dinner at Wicked Cow, we spotted a boba shop on our way to the car and decided to check it out. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The decor was adorable, and the place was very clean![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I ordered an iced coffee, my kids got boba tea lemonades, both were absolutely delicious! As we were enjoying our drinks, I noticed they also serve hot lattes, so I'll definitely be back to try one. The cashier was friendly, and overall, we had a fantastic experience!

Mermaid tear. Very sweet

Food: -1 Mermaid Tear. 7/10. A very colorful drink, I ordered 50% sugar but still pretty sweet to me. Service: Service is great! The staff offered my son the cup of water. Atmosphere: Super cute and bright. I love the chairs they put inside. Would like to come back to try others.

Pumpkin Chai and The Galaxy Slushie

I've been here twice now. They're located to the left of Vons, next to the pizza place. There's plenty of parking. There's some black tables outside. When you go inside there's some additional seating inside as well. The first time I ordered a couple drinks for myself. I got the Cup of Cha's milk tea which came with honey boba and custard pudding as well as the Love Potion which is green tea with passion fruit, strawberry, and rainbow jelly. My total came out to $13 and some change. I came in again today with my husband and our dogs. They have a new hot latte menu, as well as a new pumpkin drink menu and Halloween Spooktacular Series menu. I ended up getting an iced Pumpkin Chai Latte and the Galaxy Slushie. Because they had outdoor seating, we were able to hang out outside. Overall great drinks and awesome customer service. I'll have to come back again to try one of their hot lattes.

Newly opened in Upland! Highly recommend. Uniqueness with flavors and using organic tea and milk. One of the few places that have organic boba in the area that I've seen. FOOD: We had the the unicorn dream and foam signature boba and it was delicious. I love how they recommended 50% as well. Pretty pricey, 6-8$ average boba. The boba was chewy and the flavors of each drink were delicious! SERVICE: great friendly staff with free wifi and a couple of tables and chairs outside and inside. They have a cool photography area and nice modern interior. LOCATION: right off Euclid and foothill in a shopping plaza, great location.

Went here with my girlfriend! It was amazing! I got their organic fruit teas and it comes with FREE toppings assigned! Fresh and good quality! They have a lot of selections and parking was really easy! Their pudding is good too!

Cup of Cha Milk Tea

This place is new. Its kind of hidden in the plaza, but theres plenty of parking. I like their Carribean Love. Its been hot, so I went for a fruit tea slush. Its refreshing if you like passionfruit, mango, and peach. Its a safe drink if you like fruits. It comes with rainbow jelly but I replaced it with Aloe Vera and they were nice about it. I had their cup of cha milk tea. The milk tastes different from most tea places, on the organic side. The boba was soft and chewy. Overall decent. I would come back to try their viet coffee drinks.

Cup of Cha has opened in Upland in the same spot Who's Tea used to be in, in the Vons plaza. Pretty bold of them to open in the place of a failed tea shop. All of their Specialteas are $6.79, all one size, toppings included. If you want to make your own it starts at $6 and upgrade fees to follow. Tea shops are so pricey these days, it might be cheaper to be an alcoholic than a bobaholic. On the day of my visit they opened at Noon. I had just came from Vons so I wanted to get some drinks for my family. There was one family of 3, requiring 3 drinks before me. They had already ordered when I came in. I stood around and waited for a while with no one to be seen. I had asked the family how long they waited. They said a little before I came in they ordered but the person went to the back to make the boba. So the boba wasn't ready until 12:22pm. Tip to ownership, if you open at Noon, you should get there earlier to prep your boba like all the other tea shops. So anyways the drinks for the people in front of me had to be made at 12:22pm. I thought she had been making their drink the whole time or honestly I would have left already. To her credit the actual drinks seemed quick to make as they were done by 12:33pm. My order was complete by 12:40pm. I had ordered 2 Creamy Top Marble Taro for my parents and a Jasmine Blossom for myself. One thing I don't like about the business is that THEY RECOMMEND THE DRINKS AT 50% SWEETNESS. How ridiculous!! Whatever you think is the recommended business sweetness should be the 100% and let the audience adjust sweetness from there. I got the recommended 50% sweetness and my mom thought it was still too sweet. To be fair they still liked the flavor of the drink, but too sweet. I could have have had my Jasmine Blossom a tad less sweet next time too. We'll try 25% next time. The business thanked me for my patience but I was internally thinking... don't thank me I'm actually not patient. This was excessive waiting for a pricey product. I don't want to hold the delays against them too much since they are a new business, but if they continue to be so inefficient I will quickly drop the rating and stop coming back. Also this is Upland rating cause they don't have much competition, if this was in OC or LA this would be 2-3 stars and I wouldn't need to come back.

I have been looking for my local Boba spots since moving out of LA to the IE and I'm so happy to find out this location has been opened for Cup of Cha Tea House! Obsessed with how great their menu is and how fresh their boba tastes. Service was amazing showed up on a late evening and [[HIGHLIGHT]]the ambiance was perfect for our girls catching up time with their cute tables and couch set up.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Uncovered ice cream for Thaitanic

On my way home from My Delight Cupcakery, I wanted to try a new boba place. I found Cup of Cha Tea House in Upland. Love the name of the shop because when you pronounce the word "Cha", it's how you say "tea" in Cantonese. Anyway, they are still in their soft opening period. There seems to be alot of new businesses opening up lately which is fantastic. Cup of Cha is a cute boba joint! Good space inside. They have a couple country style chairs for you to sit and take pictures with. I didn't sit on them, but the gentleman behind the counter asked if I wanted to have a picture taken. It was really nice of him to ask. Thank you sir! Since this was my first time here, I usually ask the staff what their best sellers are. Now of course they just soft opened, they probably don't have any good stats yet. However, the gentleman was able to give me a few favs so far. He recommended the Malibu Sun and Thaitanic. Thank you sir for the recommendations! Just so you know, they start off their drinks at 50% sweetness and you adjust from there. This is my first time getting our drinks at 50% sweetness... I have always gone with 100% sweetness at other boba places. Just make the drinks you designed them to be... I don't want to think too hard you know LOL. OMG... Malibu Sun was a very fruity and refreshing drink... I haven't drank such a tasty fruit tea drink like this one before... I loved it! Definitely a keeper! As for the Thaitanic, this was okay. I was a tad disappointed because I love Thai ice tea and this one didn't have that deep Thai tea flavor and it wasn't that sweet... probably will go with 75% sweetness if I get it again. Also the ice cream that came with it didn't have the vanilla flavor that I'm used to eating. Last drink was Our Signature which is basically their brown sugar boba milk tea. I had a sip of it and it was a little milky IMHO, but still good. Staff was really nice and pleasant. Prices are a little bit higher than other boba places IMHO. Atmosphere is very warm and welcoming! Parking is plenty as it's located in Vons shopping center. I will definitely return here for more bobaliciousness. I would like to try their other drinks next time. Best of success on your grand opening. Happy Cup of Cha'ing!

I decided to try this place today since it was a new boba place to try out, had 5 stars, and it's near Vons. This place opens at noon so luckily I had to be at the market to do some shopping anyways and then check out this place. I would prefer hours open earlier though since I'll be up early to do errands and be out and about. The store was very nice and clean. Since it was grand opening, they have an offer of BOGO in store only. I placed my order of their House Milk Tea no boba but with custard pudding that they recommended and a regular Thai Tea with boba. I told the employee that I wanted to use my Yelp check-in offer for a free topping. She acknowledged my check-in offer, she didn't say anything about not being able to use it for any reason. I paid and waited for the drinks. The Milk tea was pretty average and the custard jelly didn't have any flavor to me. The Thai Tea was very thick and bland, with the boba being hard and I ended up throwing the majority of it away. That was a waste of money. Later on when I was looking at my receipt, I noticed that I was still charged for the boba. Why even have a check in offer if you don't even honor it? Also, they do have the drinks at 50% sugar recommended, which I didn't mind since I had to watch my sugar intake. Overall, I was extremely disappointed with this place and I won't be coming back. With T-Pumps being just down the street, I'll be sticking with them.

Blended Thai Tea with Honey Boba
Sabrina Y.

I recently swung by this new boba place, without super high expectations because I don't usually stop in Upland. Cup of Cha exceeded my expectations, and I'll be coming back to try other drinks! I ordered the regular Thai Tea with lactose-free house cream, made it blended, with honey boba. I ordered 25% sweet, and I was warned that if it were blended it might be a bit icy. It did have more ice chunks than I would have liked, but that's on me. Just keep that in mind if you want a blended drink with less sugar. The tea flavour itself was great, and the cream was a great addition. Service was fast, super friendly, and the interior is really cute as well with a plant wall with neon lights. There's also a few places to sit, though the restroom is closed right now. Overall, two thumbs up! Definitely a good addition to the area, with lots of options. Bonus points for the house cream being lactose-free by default!

I've been an avid drinker of Sunright but rarely in this area, so I made it a mission to visit this…read morestore location for their 3rd anniversary event. This was one of the most organized events I've been to. To start, the manager arrived around 8:30am to hand out tickets and ensure that there were no line cutters - even though the store didn't open until 12pm. That's super early considering most events don't hand out tickets until 1 hour or less before the start time. Around 11am, the manager came around and gave us drinks if we won a game. Options were tic tac toe, guess the Sunright drink, or boba trivia. I played and got the white peach oolong milk tea in a can, which was really generous. Shortly after, staff came around to take our orders outside the store so that they could begin prepping and shorten the wait time once we went in to pay. I ordered the special anniversary Upland lemon creamsicle drink and got the fragrant oolong milk tea with sunny jelly as my free drink for being the first 150. I also got to spin the wheel for purchasing the lemon creamsicle and got a white mug. The store is big with ample seating to enjoy your drinks and hang out. Nothing would matter if the drinks aren't good, but Sunright delivers consistent quality, and the lemon creamsicle drink was icy and refreshing on a hot day. It really did taste like a creamsicle. Overall, staff were really efficient and nice, and drinks are always good quality with good variety on the menu.

I have brought my friends who have never tried before and they also liked it! Sunright is one of my favorite spots and I am sad to see some close down, but happy to be able to still visit this one when I'm passing through. The drinks are always generous and filled to the top (even when you say less ice!) When I ask for less sweet, it's just what hits the spot. If you like smoothies, highly recommend the strawberry frostie (they use real strawberries and it is amazing). I also like the mango frostie - it tastes like a dessert and it includes jelly that is jasmine tea flavored! My previous favorite was the panda milk tea as they have 2 different types of boba and is so creamy and delicious. I like to try their new drinks and then end up with new favorites at the time depending on my mood. My brother in law loves the oreo milk tea with boba. The coffee oolong is also essential if you are a fan of coffee. It's a perfect mix for coffee or tea lovers. 100% highly recommend for everyone to try their drinks - their boba is always the perfect texture even if I have it next day. Their mochi waffles are also very addicting but best eaten fresh and right away while they are warm!
