    Spicy Noodle Soup

As a critic who is hard to impress, I liked this place. You will likely spend a lot because sushi is on the expensive side, but their prices are reasonable for what you get. I hope they don't change that. The presentation of the dishes they brought out was cute. The only thing that was somewhat mediocre was the spicy noodle soup. It looked nice, but the flavor didn't quite match the presentation. Everything else however, was delightful.

I like cup works! I especially love their udon and kalbi. Cup work's Udon is on point and i love mine with shrimp tempura. As a proud Korean, I can confirm cup works serves authentic food except sushi menu. Their sushi is typical american standard sushi. It is difficult to find an authentic sushi restaurant in US anyway so I am not complaining at all. Besides, their sushi are still good. Other than Sushi, Cup works has authentic korean dishes and some Korean fusion Japanese dishes which is perfect to treat my cravings and homesickness. So far I've tried their bulgogi, kalbi, udon, katsudon, mandu and some sushi, so can't say anything about other menus though.

Not bad but after living in Korea the bulgogi does not taste anything like the real thing. I was hoping to get close to it but this was nowhere near it. It didn't taste bad I just think the title of this dish should be changed

Decided to give this place a try after passing by it so many times. As far as decor, the restaurant was very intimate and cozy and would be a cute first date type of scene. The Katsu don was very good with a lot of fluffy white rice to go with it. Slightly heavy on the sauce but all in all really good. The bimbimbap was surprisingly well flavored though, I wish there was a little more beef. As much as I wanted to love the rainbow roll (cuz trust that was what I was looking forward to the most), $10 for this itty bit??? Can't justify paying that much for this amount. BUT it was good. Coming from a city with a wider Asian population I can't say this place has "authentic" dishes rather theyre an Asian American fusion? All in all I'd go back every once in awhile but I'll be sure to try other places around the area too.

We are new to the area and wanted to try a local restaurant. We arrived and sat at the bar and was greeted promptly by the bar tender Richard. He went over the specials and took our drink order. After receiving our drinks we placed our order for an appetizer and 2 entrees. Drinks were good but I couldn't tell you how the food was because after placing our order thats when service took a turn. The place did get busy but it seemed like Richard had no issue accommodating everyone around us at the bar with exceptional customer service even so much as tending to a couple sitting at a table away from the bar. We sat with empty drink glasses for well over 30 minutes while Richard had no issue providing additional rounds of drinks to the couple next to us and everyone else at the bar. No disrespect to the couple next to us but it was apparent that they knew the manager on duty (older gentleman in a black ball cap who came by and chatted them up multiple times) which might explain the exceptional service they received while we were pretty much invisible to the rest of the staff. 50 minutes eventually went by and we still had not gotten our appetizers and drink glasses still remained empty while everyone around was enjoying their's. Eventually we had to stop Richard and ask what was going on with the appetizer he told us it would be up shortly but by then we were ready to pay for the 2 drinks we finished a long time ago and leave. The manager came over after that and all of sudden they wanted to go above and beyond for us when all we wanted to begin with was adequate service, we never came in expecting special treatment like the managers friends sitting next to us. After I explained to him about the blatant disregard we received from Richard, he then back tracked and said "oh well we are swamped right now" but again it seemed like everyone else in the restaurant was receiving adequate and attentive service. I told him I would like to pay for my 2 drinks and leave. He told us not to worry about that and so we left. Total shame even more so because we were very excited to try the food and drinks while spending a good amount of money on it. Not sure why this place fell short on standard customer service but to go that long without even so much as a "can I get anything else for you guys" or just general acknowledgement from the bartender is beyond me. They couldn't so much as provide us with the complimentary bread that everyone else got after being seated.

Their chicken on a stick is always excellent and we recently had seafood egg rolls that were amazing. Their sushi is generally good although not as fresh as Royal but it's also not made to order. The service has always been wonderful for us which we like. This tends to be the cheapest Chinese buffet in town so we do go often and feel we get our money's worth. I feel that people who don't like Fuji are usually people who don't like buffets in general. If you don't like buffets stay away, but if you do then try it out. Sadly they are no longer open on Mondays so keep that in mind.

We went in there for dinner at around 7pm. They didn't have the upgraded dinner menu up like most Chinese buffets do after 5pm. I just figured they may only do that on weekends now. The menu items were all dry, like they'd been sitting there since lunch. The choices were very bland and minimal. The sushi looked like they just made up whatever popped into there head and wrapped it into a role. Then, when we got our bill I was like, "Holy twisted metal, Batman!" We were charge way too much for the crappy food they had up. Usually Chinese buffets have crab legs, steak and other premium goodness for the later menu so they can charge more. Not these guys. I say, "boo," to you, Fugi. I'll stick with Royal Buffet.
