We absolutely love this place! Wonderful customer service and the food was made fresh so we did have to wait 15 minutes, but it was well worth it. Look at all that avocado on the sushi!! The food is absolutely delicious and not once have I been disappointed by this family owned business. The owners are extremely friendly, and it is obvious they put in a lot of effort into their food. The prices are another bonus! Everything is reasonably priced. I usually order for takeout, but I have dined in a couple of times and the ambiance is very sweet and calm. Okay so unlike the negative comments on here i disagree with 100 % !!! I liked the sushi !!!! Sushi is the best I love the California Roll and its only 4.99 !!! In any other places I would have almost payed 8 to 10 for a simple California Roll ! So this is a great price! Best teriyaki bowl in town ! Ive never had teriyaki like this before its amazing ive traveled to many places including New York and this is the best Teriyaki and Fried Rice ive had in my entire life ! Yes you heard right and im a extremely selective with my food choices but this place holds a special place in heart it is also family owned and they are very kind folks ! [2.5 stars to be exact] I live on the Far East side of El Paso and recently tried this newly opened eatery. Now I realize that by living in the southwest, we are unaccustomed to what "fresh fish" means. On that note lets begin... 1) I can assume this place makes their money from the adjacent high school across the street during their lunch hours because every time I drive by this place, it is completely empty. For the time that I actually did eat here, I was the only patron there. 2) I was greeted by a lovely women who promptly took my order and began to make it. I took note in noticing that their "Sushi Express," consisted of a small Pepsi like fridge, containing pre-packaged sushi. Needless to say, I did not try this "sushi." 3) I ordered the teriyaki chicken with miso soup. Although the chicken was fully cooked, the flavors were not fully there. The miso soup was nothing but standard ready-mix miso. I ordered two of each item and ended up paying roughly 18 dollars that included two drinks. A bit expensive for my taste (keeping in my that there ain't much too taste!) 4) All in all, keep driving. This is one of many new businesses that are popping up on the far east side. So if like me, you live on this side of town, keep driving home. High prices for mediocre food do not equal a lovely meal. read more

I come to Yongs Bowl simply for the teriyaki chicken bowl on brown rice. I love it! I'm not big on sushi so I can't help anybody there but this place has a friendly staff and they really pack on the chicken. I always leave with a fu stomach and for 8 bucks that's not bad at all. Simple good food and you don't have to wait forever. Students get a pretty sweet deal 5 dollars for a bowl and drink. read more

We were looking for Korean restaurants near our house and tried them. We got their spicy noodles and some sushi rolls as well as their la galbi. Overall, the food was way too salty (noodles were so salty that I had to dump out half of the broth and add hot water). Price was reasonable and sushi was ok considering the price. read more

Won't eat here again any time soon. The bugolgi and chicken teriyaki was extremely dry and lacked flavor.
