I snagged a bowl of Rock and Krunch with a 6 spice level. The tangy glaced fried chicken (Rock) and Katsu style fried chicken (Krunch) were delicious. I have tried this location multiple times, and every time theres something wrong with my orders. I decided to try one more time, and it was the same experience. I ordered four different bowls, and only one was right. The two that were wrong were a krunch and Rock make it sloppy. It only came with the Krunch. It also was not sloppy. It was the normal amount of sauce. The other was a Rock and Koko. Instead of the Koko they gave me the Piggy Bop. My family doesn't eat pork, so I ended up throwing that part of the bowl away. It also was supposed to be sloppy, and again wasn't. It had the normal amount. It was also supposed to be a level 2, and definitely was a level 1. The service was great though. Other than them messing up my order. Sadly, I wouldn't recommend this location unless you're dinning in. read more

I want to say that I've been to many... MANY Cupbops, and the service is always pretty amazing. Cupbop has always prided itself on picking people who have amazing Souls. I wanted to make sure that I took a minute and expressed my gratitude for some of those Souls here at the Tooele Cupbop. There were three, but I lost the slip I wrote their names on and can't remember the third name. Maddy, Brit, and amazing other worker, you made my visit so pleasant and fulfilling. I left with the biggest smile and a feeling of happiness. These three simply made my day. I went in for a free Kdawg (with voucher) and left with so much more. These ladies have won you a customer for life! The atmosphere was pleasant, clean and although there were several people there, it didn't feel overcrowded. I wasn't sure what to try and so I asked the cashier and he told me one of the favorites is the Rock Bop. I went with and it was an excellent suggestion! Cupbop has a very special place in my stomach, both from a capsicum induced ulcer, and in the metaphorical sense given that I first had in when I moved to Provo at what I presume was one of their first locations. Like any food chain, consistency and quality can vary greatly location to location - and Tooele's location has a much lower pendulum swing, when compared to other locations. Besides any criticism, I really like cupbop- I was there often and I appreciate the variety. Try their fried chicken analog or the beef dishes, I really enjoy those. One specific visit, some of the staff were very clearly high - which isn't a bad thing, they loaded up that bowl!! At other times the way various dishes are packaged up leaves me wondering if I ordered the wrong thing or if this is the same meal just arranged differently, like the kkobop. The last critique I'd level is their spiciness rating system - at one point it was a 1-7 according to the staff member and most of the time it's set at a 1-10. Normally this is great, allowing for a higher degree of granularity within a dish to make it more custom, however once you pass 3 or 7, the actual base of the sauce that is used with the spice factor changes. This can either be a delicious surprise, or an inedible paste that must be scraped off both the meal and your tongue. read more

The service was amazing as well, One time i went and they needed us to wait on the noodles and when it was done they decided to give us extra toppings, They were so nice. The Ambiance at Cup Bop is Very nice I went into the bathroom and all i could smell was the smell that you get after cleaning your whole house i was looking at the kitchen from tye little food bar and it is very clean and organized they had a sink full of clean dishes and if made me pretty happy. I've only eaten here once, but have also eaten at one of their food trucks in Provo about 8 years ago. Their bowls are filling, flavorful, and have a variety of delicious/healthy ingredients. Their noodles are called sweet potatoe noodles, and are very light and translucent. Their sauces are also delicious. There prices are pretty good. Maybe $1 or $2 too high vs the food quantity ratio. However, because the food is packed with flavor, full of good ingredients, and they have good service and nice locations. Its a good unique option. read more

There was a time i remember going here alone and the workers didnt greet or say anything besides just stare at me while i just felt judged for even being there. The one who takes the orders is some guy usually and he doesnt speak or feel welcoming. they hardly have customers and they treat everyone like outsiders. theres usually this woman in the back who's always staring and gives mean looks. that happened again today but with my friend and whenever she was ordering she felt judged as well. the customer service is terrible :) read more

I love Cupbop. Not this location. I have no idea why but the rice tasted nasty, almost like funky seafood, why would it taste like that? I love seafood, but if all the cupbops why is yours the only one with this funky flavor. Also it was fairly slow, I was here on Monday 07/06/2022 around 4 pm. In the 45 minutes I was here I saw 3 people come in, but the tables and floors are freaking sticky. Like almost pull your shoe off your foot sticky. This place needs better upkeep and considering how slow it is, I can't believe how bad it is. My wife loves to get Cupbop when we are visiting in Utah and this was the first time I was able to try it myself and I can see now what she has been raving about! I couldn't decide between the different meat options, so I was glad there was a combo option. I got a combo of b-bop (beef) and the the non-fried chicken and both were amazing - tender, flavorful meat! My kids got the 2 kinds of fried chicken and both were amazing - crispy outside with such good sauces on them! My favorite part of the base is the glass noodles - such good flavor and texture! I loved that we could choose the spicy level to get it just how we wanted it! We got mandoo (pot stickers) as a side and they were very good - crispy outside and flavorful filling. They were out of much of their menus when I ordered. Told me to wait 6 mins for my corn dogs, took 15 mins. And the floors and walls are dirty and dingy. Make it a point to eat here! We were in town for the holidays and looking for something unique for dinner. This was the right choice. The food was hot, fresh and DELICIOUS. The sauce "heat" levels made it fun for everyone. Be warned, it gets serious around level 7. This will definitely be a regular for us every time we are in town. Oh, and the staff was SUPER friendly. Don't forget the Mandoo and the KKO KKO Sticks. They were tremendous add ons. The only minor issue was our meals weren't really identified. I really want to leave a better review because I like the food but this place is definitely trending in the wrong direction. I've tried ordering online a few times and it's never ready. The restaurant has an alarming number of flies buzzing around the last 3 times I've gone in. Last time they were out of several of their meat products during prime lunch hours. And this time they are out of forks? How does a basic inventory item like that go overlooked. I eat here about once per week and have generally looked past any mistakes, etc because overall I enjoy the food and service. Today, however, was very different. The service or lack thereof provided by the 4 employees on site on 8/9 was so bad I strongly doubt I will be back any time soon. Customers should not have to listen to employees complain about how they hate their jobs or how they don't want to do their job because they like other aspects better. Absolutely ridiculous. I've always really enjoyed Cupbop, so I wanted to get try the one closest my new house in Tooele County. Out of all the stores I've been to, this one was definitely the best. From the energetic staff to the decor, it felt like a good restaurant experience. My favorite parts of Cupbop: the mandu and the spicy "levels." I swear everywhere you go in Utah, "hot" means about a medium salsa, if that. Here at Cupbop, you get to choose your level from 1-10. Now I always thought I really liked hot, but wow this gets up there. For me (someone who enjoys spicy), a level 6 is about my top for spicy while still enjoying the meal. Above that and it really lights my mouth on fire. On this occasion, I got a 5 and that was perfect. There's plenty of seating in the restaurant and the layout keeps those eating away from those in line (nothing worse than a line forming right next to your table). The decor is great and the yellow and black color scheme flows throughout the place. Best part of the visit was the friendly and energetic staff behind the counter. You could tell they enjoyed working together and helping their customers. Nothing helps you enjoy a meal better than a good staff. Thanks Cupbop! I will be back. read more

I went to The Tooele Cupbop tonight at 7:15. They had all the tables and chairs stacked up. I asked if we could dine in and they said no. I asked what time they closed, they said 9:00, but we close the dining room at 8:00 and tonight we are closing it right now so we can buffer. I don't know what buffering is, but I have have gone in before closing twice and had this happen. I love the food, but I'm going to just start planning to eat there only when I want take out because I never know when dine in is available. read more

The serving line was very unclean. Surfaces and serving trays of the meats, rices, and noodles appeared as if they were never wiped down. You could see where food had spilled and was never cleaned up, with different colored flavors of sauce building on top of eachother! Where is the magement and who is running this place? Very slow service, the fried chicken was stale. The rice noodles were the freshest because we had to wait 20 minutes for it to be done. The floor is sticky, compared to the West Valley location and food trucks I've been to this location is very subpar. I hope things get better in time. read more
