I signed up for their rewards club and received a coupon for my first order. I chose this location because it's a bit easier to get to through traffic than the other locations in the area. This one is a bit newer also. They are located in a strip mall with a shared parking lot. I ordered from the phone app so I could use the coupon that only allowed for a Cupbop bowl which comes with 2 meats, white rice, Korean sweet potato noodles, and cabbage. I opted to get the Koko (Korean chicken) and Piggy (spicy Korean BBQ pork) meat selections, noodles and cabbage, but skipped the rice. I also ordered the Sauce #1 (Bulgogi and Lime Mayo) on the side. It was fairly quick on preparation and I didn't have to wait long upon arrival to pick it up. The staff wasn't overly friendly when I walked up to the counter, and they confused me by asking the name on my order and then handing the bag in their hand to another person. I also discovered upon receiving my order, that they did not put the sauce on the side like I requested even though the printed ticket they used to prepare the meal included the statement "sauce on the side". They correctly left off the rice however. I took my order to go. There isn't really anywhere to sit and eat inside the store. I really enjoyed the sweet potato noodles, and the sauce was sweet and very tasty. The chicken didn't seem to have much flavor but is was very tender and easy to eat. The spicy pork had a lot of flavor, but wasn't too spicy for me. I tend to be a wimp with spice levels. I liked the sauce mixed with the cabbage since this reminded me of sweet cole slaw. I really like the food at Cupbop, but was disappointed that they didn't honor my order requests. I will continue to patronize Cupbop. read more

We placed our order, waited an hour, and then some guy from India, working for Uber Eats, calls us and tells us that we're not going to receive our order. The guy who calls can't even refund us. You can claim that it's not their fault, but they chose to do business with Uber eats, and Uber eats does this all the time. As long as they do business with such a terrible delivery service, I will not do business with them. I am hungry and frustrated! read more

Got take out today. Even though they were crazy busy our order came out fast (9 minutes for three bowls). More important it was RIGHT! (The other location can't seem to manage the extra cabbage, little rice and noodle... AKA Diabetic Friendly). Our cashier was super efficient. Nice to have drive thru, order for pick-up, or dine in options. Appreciate the visual menu and order from kiosk (great for autism, social anxiety, visual or hearing impaired!). Stopped for lunch Saturday. I was concerned when I saw that the menu had changed. Shouldnt have worried. I ordered the tofu and veggie combo. My goodness it was good. I waited for the veg and tofu to be made up fresh so it took an extra moment. The tofu was hot, slightly crispy and delicious. The veg was hot and plentiful. One of the best Cupbop cups I've had. I love Korean food; and I love going to cup bop, it's very fast and convenient. When they opened one up in Roy I was excited. I have been so many times I can't remember. But always the staff are very friendly, and enthusiastic and helpful. They are very fast in taking my order; and always ask the best questions to make sure it's something that I want or want to try. The restaurant is always mopped and cleaned every time I come and it always smells fresh and clean. I appreciate that so much, The only reason why I am giving this place a 4 is because they put very little about it meat, and that's not the staffs fault, corporate has told them how much to put; but if we are paying for food, we should get enough, they pack the noodles and rice on there they should pack some meat as well. Newest store to open and it's been super busy from day one. It's smaller and every table was occupied. Drive through wasn't open but no biggie. Parking is never gonna be an issue as it shares the lot with WinCo groceries. Employees were friendly and professional considering the phone was ringing on top of a full house. read more

Just stopped by to try this new spot... The flavor was great, but then noticed that the chicken was raw and not fully cooked. We went back to return food and request refund, and the manager said "oh snap" with no apology whatsoever. He issued us a refund, but wow, how disappointing that the manager himself did not even care that I took a bite of RAW CHICKEN and potentially could get sick! All he said was "oh snap, and yeah I know I'm going to find out what's going on." We witnessed him frying and preparing the food from the drive thru window. This is a huge health concern to not temp food and make sure it's safe before serving to the customer. Will not be returning, especially due to the terrible customer service. read more

I love cupbop and go to their stores all around the state. This one is close to work, so I've been there 5 times since they opened. Every time I go, I say I won't come back. Bad customer service most times, but every time something is wrong with the food. The rice is always under cooked, it should be crunchy. I am really sad that the one I drove past the most is the worst one I have been to. This last time, I walked in to hear an employee arguing with a customer who walked out instead of dealing with him. I think he was the boss. So today they lost at least 2 customers, I won't be back. read more

Love the bowls. Love how you can choose level of heat for your sauce scale 1-10. When I do a 5 I usually regret it and want a little hotter at a 6. Be sure to get your bowl "sloppy." Strike 3 your out Roy cupbop. Service is slow, food was wrong order, scrimp on the cold portion. Management should retrain the workers.

I am very disappointed! I love Cupbop, however the last 3 times we've gone to the Roy, Utah location they are out of Mandoo. I understand the closer it gets to closing time, that you may run out. In this case, I'm running right after work (around 6 o'clock), and even the employees are surprised that they are out. It just feels like the employees don't want to throw it in the fryer?! I just feel like if you are going to offer something on your menu. You should have it available for customers to order!!! No complaints about the food, but the night crew is HORRIBLE! We arrived at about 7:30, 90 minutes before closing. 2 employees appeared to be prepping to close, no one to help with ordering. Luckily they let us know they were out of beef. Only after ordering from the kiosk and paying, we were told they were out of noodles! 6 employees sitting around doing NOTHING and they were still taking orders. Only after asking for a manager did any one get motivated to actually do anything. I've eaten at this location several times for lunch with no issues and excellent service.
