New items that we tried and are so good: the mango and guava pre-packaged señorita bread, a pre-packaged guava pastry (at the register) and bought 3/$12 ube malasadas. Our family definitely enjoyed everything and we are so happy we came in and were able to get our hands on these coveted heavenly carbs today!

Instead they gave me an old cupcake in the requested flavor that they had stored in a fridge for who knows how long and filled out the rest of the order with what was in the display. So I basically paid full price for old cake. This was my first experience with this bakery and if this is how they treat something as basic as a simple small cupcake order, how am I to trust them to handle anything more complex like a custom cake or a wedding order? Along the front where the cashier is, whole cakes and slices are available. Once you finished picking out what you want, take the tray to the counter and that's where they ring things up. Drinks can also be ordered there. I did pick up a couple of boxes of the individual pastries and sweets. Both savory and sweets. A while strawberry cake and two drinks. That came up to about 108.00. The staff were all pretty sweet and friendly. I overheard one of the other cashier asking another patron if they wanted something heated up. Which I asked the cashier that was ringing my order up but she couldn't heat my croissant up as it wasn't the pre wrapped sandwiches. Only sandwiches could be heated up. Oh well. As I ordered drinks, which the other half of the cafe is the dining area. First off, the place was pretty massive and majority of the space in the middle isn't utilized. Just an open space which the could have added more tables for seating. Even though there was good amount of people working the drinks counter, it took forever for our drinks to be ready. It seemed like only one person was making the drinks which I think took at least 10 minutes for my drinks to be ready. Overall, it a nice space and the shelves were fully stocked. Parking in the neighborhood wasn't too hard to find along the street and even if you need to park a block or two away, the neighborhood is nice to walk through.

I've never been super impressed with this place. When I've gone in the past, it's always been a really long wait to get a simple Cappuccino and breakfast sandwich, even when there's not that many people there. I thought I'd give it another try because I love having a local espresso and pastry place near where I live. I went in this time just to get an almond croissant to go. It was hard as a rock. Maybe a day or two old. I asked if they gave discounts for the day old pastries and they do not. I wish I could experience this place like some other people do who write great reviews. This place is way better than Starbucks!!! They have like 20 different flavors for pumps. I suggest going inside so you can see the options. Their machines are way better than Starbucks and their service is great! It tastes fresher and cleaner. I love it. They also have small cupcakes, pastries, and food.
