Kraemer's Coffee is one of my longtime favorites! I've been coming here for years, and their Banana Cream Latte is 1000/1000! hands down my absolute favorite! It's SO good and definitely a must try. You also can't go wrong with their breakfast egg sandwiches! Everything is delicious, and the customer service is always great. The staff is so friendly and welcoming, which makes coming here even better. Riverside is severely lacking in terms of quality breakfast and lunch places, which leaves Kraemer's as the only "decent" spot around us which isn't saying much. First off, some staff have very poor attitudes and the female owner is included in that assessment. If it is even a millisecond past 11am, you will not have the option to order breakfast. There is absolutely zero exceptions even if you arrived before 11am and waited in line for over 15 minutes because it takes an absurd amount of time for customers to be rang up at the cash register. If you order a panini and are expecting anything that should come standard when you order said food item, you will be absolutely shocked at what Kraemer's defines a panini as. You'll get toast with room temperature cheese and ham. Nothing is melted whatsoever. It's actually laughable that they served something like this to us. They also use Torani syrups -- not homemade. The coffee is also extremely sub par. I can say with confidence that I'll never ever come back here and I suggest you don't waste your time or money here either. read more

Great spot! The prices are super reasonable. The sandwich pictured was like $6.50. It had a jalapeño cheese bagel that seemed sooo fresh, not like straight out of a package. Stopped by Kraemer's this morning and ordered the Lucky Charms latte, and it ended up being such a nostalgic little treat. The flavor has this sweet, comforting vibe that immediately brought me back to childhood. Love the addition of the lucky charms marshmallows on top as well. I've been coming to Kraemer's for about a decade now, and it still has that familiar, cozy feel every time I walk in. Even as they've grown and added more staff over the years, the service has stayed warm and genuinely friendly. You can tell the people working here care about what they're doing, and that consistency is a big part of why I keep coming back. It does get busy, especially in the mornings. I've seen the line reach the door more than once, but they move quickly and keep things flowing. Even on the crowded days, I'm usually in and out faster than I expect, which I really appreciate. Their signature lattes usually land around seven to eight dollars. I didn't know about this place until I found it on Instagram, and I'm so glad I did! It's a hidden gem tucked inside the Brockton Arcade. I had the breakfast croissant sandwich and a dot cake latte, and everything was delicious. The sandwich and coffee came to about $17, which is a little pricey, but I really enjoyed both the food and the drink. It does get busy, so be prepared to wait in line. This was my first time here, and unfortunately, it was not a good experience. I waited about 30 minutes after ordering a bagel before asking about my order. I was told they were preparing it, but a few minutes later, someone came over and told me they were out of American cheese--which I never ordered in the first place. I explained what I had actually ordered, and then they came back again to tell me they were completely out of bagels. At that point, I just asked for my money back. After waiting all that time and getting so much confusion about a simple order, all I received was a "so sorry." I was really disappointed, especially since this was my first time here. Been here a few times, nail it almost every single time tbh. Coffee is 10/10 imo, good consistency and good flavor. Breakfast bagel also good texture and flavor. As far as the ambience, you have to be considerate that this is a busy spot, busy for a good reason. The few times i've been here, there is a little line but I don't mind waiting usually no longer than 5-10 min. Been on a coffee and tea kick recently and this place does not disappoint. I ordered an iced strawberry matcha and it did not disappoint. I don't expect to ever be treated special in any business, but the staff here sure made my day. The barista took time and personally walked up to me and asked if I wanted Foam and all the toppings. Then she proceeded to bring my to go order straight to the table I was sitting and waiting. That's great service and a personal touch I will always remember. I don't expect to find this hidden gem out here in Riverside. Kraemer's oozes a nice chilled atmosphere with a nice lived in vibe that makes it feel like a sanctuary in a city and not just another coffee shop. The strawberry matcha and the jalapeño cheese bagel with onions, egg and tomatoes I ordered were fantastic. The scrambled egg were freshly made and you can taste that it wasn't premade or powdered. That being said, they're pretty friendly and the store is decorated nice, but it's always cramped, line out the door in the heat, and the line management is not that good. This shop is the cutest spot! It is teenie tiny and there are 2 entrances (the side entrance puts you in line btw) but the menu is bomb. Sandwiches are so good that I completely forgot to photograph it! Everyone was friendly and kindly answered my questions, to include other patrons when I was curious what fun drink they had. Seasonal menu is fun and then they have their regular menus. Inside has some tables but it is a little loud for working or doing homework, but the tables outside were awesome since the weather was beautiful out. read more

Excellent service! Everyone working was very kind and patient as deciding what to order was tough due to how good the menu looked! Very cozy comfortable atmosphere. The brown butter cookie latte was delicious not too sweet but not too subtle that it tastes like a regular coffee. Had a great balance of flavor while still tasting like a festive holiday treat my sister very much enjoyed the matcha! We also tried the avo toast & a breakfast sandwich that were absolutely fantastic and the portion was with the price and there was a lot more flavor than expected for a coffee shop menu! Really solid coffee shop in Riverside! Decided to try it out on a random Saturday around 11:30 am. Line was out the door but it went by quick! The lattes are insanely good! Love that they have so many different options, I'm sure you'll find a flavor you like even if you're picky! I got the seasonal banana bread nut latte and it was really good! I really like the drinks , but when it comes to service it's honestly not the greatest. Management has to improve . I had made a mobile order through there website and time pick up was at 10:30am which I arrived 10 mins early but had to wait extra 35 mins . Drink was good, but good God, $7.15?! I don't usually go for such foo-foo drinks but after seeing someone review the Oreo Latte on Instagram, I decided to drop in and try one as a treat. I really liked the fact that there were actual cookies in the drink and it wasn't overly sweet, which I was worried about. I have a REALLY hard time justifying the price for sure, but as a one-off treat, fine. The service was also very friendly and the shop was clean. I visited here for the first time yesterday, and the "welcome vibes" were trash. I know how to read a room, the minute that I had walked through that door I could see the lady in the back giving eyes to another worker there and the lady cleaning the coffee machine rolling her eyes. Another group that arrived after us also received the same treatment as us. They close at 3pm and we had arrived maybe 20 min before closing as I had worked all morning. But fuck it, no need to give off shitty vibes to customers here willing to make your business thrive. I will not be recommending or returning back. Kraemer's is a must stop for breakfast. I preordered online for pickup at 9:05 and my food and drink was ready by 9:08 am. There is parking behind the strip this is located in as well as on the street in front, but this may be a challenge if it's busy. There's lots of seating inside and outside, but this place is hopping, even on a weekday. I ordered a breakfast sandwich with English muffin, egg, bacon, avocado, and American cheese. EXCELLENT. Hot and delicious - soft eggs (not overcooked), crunchy English muffin, creamy cheese, fresh avocado, and crispy bacon. Generous amount of eggs, holds shape well while eating and doesn't easily fall apart. I also ordered a tiramisu iced latte with oat milk. Delicious! I had a brunch date at 10:30am and we met here at Kraemer's. Pretty busy around this time but luckily there's plenty of parking at the back of the building. As we got to the register, we stood there for a good 20-30 seconds without the cashier looking up at us. So we waited. She finally looked up, looking a little annoyed, and asked us what we wanted. No friendly greeting...no hello...no smile. So off the bat, we definitely didn't feel welcome. I ordered the banana cream matcha with oatmilk that everyone seems to rave about, Dubai chocolate latte, croissant bacon & egg sandwich, and an avocado toast. However, the lady handing out the orders was super kind (I didn't catch her name but she had cute colors in her hair). The latte was watered down. I can barely taste the matcha and tasted mainly of oatmilk. My avacado toast was burnt so all I tasted was charcoal, but the avocado was good. The croissant sandwich was okay. We were pleasantly surprised that the Dubai chocolate latte was actually really good so I highly recommend. This cafe is a hidden gem! I had no idea it was in this area, right between Arlington and Central. It's located on a strip of mom and pop shops. There's 10 minute parking, 10am to 6pm right in front of these businesses. There's also a back lot for parking as well. We arrived at on a Saturday, an hour before closing. The cafe was busy and there seemed to be quite a bit of people inside but not packed. There was always coming people coming and going, very steadily. There is two entrances: one in front and by the side. The cafe is nicely decorated, with coffee signage and decor, making it feel like a home. There also a but coffee first wall for photo ops. I took a look at their menu. They offer a variety of specialty drinks, as well as breakfast and lunch. I noticed they have an option to build your own breakfast sandwich and cold sandwich for either meals. I was debating between the banana cream matcha and a sugar cookie matcha. I decided on the last option. Once ordering, the cashier asked me what substitute milk I would like. I asked her what type would go well with the drink and she said it was just a matter of preference, but oat was good. She was very friendly and helpful. I asked if the milk was gluten free, which she let me know it was. There are two sizes, regular and large. Drinks were a reasonable price and we did have to wait long. We went outside, where they have a sort of patio area. My drink was very delicious! They added sprinkles to the foam on top. Sweet and creamy because of the oat milk. Matcha was prepared well. My wife and I have been regular Saturday customers at Kraemer's Koffee for quite some time, but after today's experience, we are seriously reconsidering whether we will return. While placing our order around lunchtime, an elderly gentleman walked in through the Brockton entrance. The employee at the register immediately turned to her coworkers and said, "It's here again," clearly referring to him. She then sarcastically told my wife that he was their "favorite" customer. Let that sink in -- staff openly mocking a customer, within earshot of other customers. Not only was it unprofessional, it was deeply disrespectful. Speaking negatively about a patron to another patron is unacceptable in any customer service setting. As we waited for our drinks, we observed the gentleman trying to find a seat and making light conversation with nearby customers. He wasn't disruptive. He wasn't rude. He appeared to be an older man simply attempting small talk -- something many elderly individuals do, especially if they may be lonely. Instead of showing patience or basic courtesy, the staff chose to ridicule him. If employees feel comfortable making those comments out loud, it makes you wonder what is said about other customers behind their backs. Customer service is not just about making coffee -- it's about treating people with dignity. Today, that standard was not met. Very disappointing. read more

Went today to get a sandwich and coffee, both of which were okay. I was with my husband who is in a wheelchair. The door I opened to go in was partially blocked by some boxes. So it couldn't open all the way for him to fit through with his chair. No problem they are tables outside, I could order and bring it outside. I had the door open for a few seconds to read him the menu. And immediately was told to close the door because the air conditioner was on by an older woman behind the counter. No hi or welcome. Or sorry about the boxes in the way. Or there is another entrance. I spotted another entrance around the corner as we were about to leave, we should have left at this point but we had an appt nearby and were trying to grab something quick.
