I put in a request on a Monday for a Wednesday delivery of cupcakes for my office, Brandy replied promptly, the cupcakes were delivered exactly on time (a very cheap delivery fee too, considering that we are a few cities over). This review is *way* overdue and I am slapping my hand! I've used Cupcakes To Die For twice - a baby shower and a 30th bday - and Brandi is now my forever go-to-gal for cupcake delight. Their flavors, are by far, out of this world. Trust me when I tell you the Margarita cupcake is intoxicating. You can taste the tequila in the icing! YUMMM!! Ruby Woo, Heavenly and Film Noir were my picks for my bff's baby shower. I ordered them all in picolini size (minis). A hit, over and over, in each popable bit. I def had more than one each. LOL!! I was in search of a cupcake shop in Fremont, California. Being in NJ, I was placing an order for a friends birthday in CA. I had no idea what CTDF would be like, but the reviews said it all, and its nothing short of good things. I called at first, which didn't go through so then I emailed them, and they were VERY quick to reply with their email, within few minutes. I placed an order Wednesday night I believe, and they were ready to deliver Friday, which is VERY quick despite I placed the order so late. The cupcakes were delivered at the perfect time, tasting AMAZING, and got a huge compliment from my friend on how amazing they were. (I ordered Film Noir cupcakes vanilla cake with chocolate frosting). Other places around the area are quite pricey, and charge a HUGE delivery fee, but these guys are absolutely amazing with their prices. I spoke directly to Vlad (one of the owners) and he was soo kind. He said they can fulfill my request and even deliver them for free around 6-7pm! He even recommended some of their popular flavors. Ordered 3 dozen or so of the Pucker Up Lemon cupcakes for my birthday and they were literally inhaled in minutes by the swarm of co-workers oogling them. Seriously, As the mother of the bride, I had a million details to consider, not the least of which is the fact that my daughter is seriously allergic to eggs. Brandy and Vlad came to our rescue! I've had the pleasure of tasting most of the flavors she has come up with. OUTSTANDING taste, creativity, service,delivery, prices and seasonal favorites. I've ordered cupcakes for holidays and businesses I frequent. No one has ever had anything but good things to say about them. One of my favorites is the motherlode. Dark chocolate cake infused with german chocolate frosting and topped with a beautiful rose colored cream cheese frosting, garnished with little round candies that are to look like pearls. This is a very sophisticated cupcake. I especially love the fact that she will take suggestions on creating a new flavor and put it together with total success. I got a chance to taste test one of the vegan cupcakes and I am not a vegan fan, but you could not tell at all, that it was an all natural vegan cupcake. Great job! Great owners! I wanted to badly like this place. But was underwhelmed. Here are the reasons: 1. She never returns e-mails promptly I had to keep sending her the same e-mail at least 2-3 times to hear back. 2. After a long wait, I finally got the vegan cupcakes for sampling. They were plain ok. couldn't always get the taste of all the ingredients mentioned. The icing is very very very sweet. It kills the taste of other ingredients. 3. No follow up from their end on if we wanted to move further or not. I decided why should I bother when the owner doesn't about their clients.
