Everything displayed is generally what's available for purchase, with the exception of cakes. They usually have a limited selection of cakes ready to buy, but most custom cakes require advance ordering and prepayment. The service is decent, though not particularly warm or engaging. The staff are efficient, but there isn't much interaction, and they aren't especially friendly. They accept both cash and credit cards, although there is a service fee for card payments. Since it's conveniently located in a shopping plaza just about 10 minutes from my workplace, it's an easy stop whenever I'm craving fresh buns. Despite the slightly higher prices and average service, I enjoy the quality of the baked goods and will continue coming back.

I called the bakery simply to ask one very basic question: "Do you have a Black Forest cake?" That's it. I wasn't trying to place a complicated order or take up anyone's time. The staff member, KK, told me she had a customer and refused to answer my question, asking me to call back in 10 minutes. I respected that and called back 10 minutes later. Unfortunately, she again refused to answer my question and told me to text her instead. I immediately did exactly what she asked and sent her a text message. She never responded. I honestly cannot understand why such a simple question had to become this complicated. A simple "Yes" or "No" would have taken literally two seconds. Instead, I spent nearly two hours trying to get an answer that should have taken less than a minute. I completely understand that employees can be busy, but good customer service is also about communicating respectfully and helping customers in a reasonable way. If she was too busy to answer at that moment, she could have simply said, "I'm sorry, we're very busy. I'll get back to you when I can." But asking me to call back, then telling me to text, and ultimately not responding at all was extremely frustrating and disrespectful of my time. This experience left such a bad impression that I will not be returning to La More Bakery. There are many bakeries where customers can get a simple question answered without going through this much trouble. Very disappointed.
