Cupertino Market is a wonderful little store offering groceries and produce at affordable prices. I'm so glad this place exists and you can leave with a full bag of fresh food for $10-20 for your family for the week. With how crazy inflation has gotten for groceries, anything to save helps. There is a lot of good variety of fresh fruits and veggies here. I usually can find good prices for tomatoes, apples, onions, and other basic cooking staples here. That said, you do need to be careful when picking out your food because some items might be getting close to expiration or are going moldy or bad already. So just pick and choose diligently. The shop does get crowded after work and on weekends, so it's best to come during weekdays or earlier mornings if possible. The workers here are always nice. It's well lit inside and they usually have fresh fruits outside the door as well for you to browse before you enter the store. Overall, cool place to shop. This is my go to place for getting quick produce. The staff are always nice, and the prices are better than any other grocery store. Great variety of fruits, veggies, and some pre-packaged goods. The only drawback is some of the produce can be old and past its prime, with some items being rotten. I suppose you get what you pay for. read more

Great selection of fresh produce but I have two concerns. 1. Casher should handle items gently during checkout. On one occasion he just dropped cherries, tomatoes and plums into cart. On other occasion he just push all my items away like smacked them. 2. There were lot of flies over the plums. I guess they should remove the broken ones and keep the are clean. read more

I could literally shop here every day, if I could. But it's too far from where I stay without transportation. The ambience was very pleasant and I almost danced to the Latin music. Cute neighborhood grocery store. They have a lot of fruits and vegetables and they seem reasonably priced. I was able to get a box of fat blueberries for $0.99 so I'm hoping they're delicious. Some of the other produce I was interested in didn't seem too fresh though - white peaches and cosmic crisp apples in particular. The prices were very good (cosmic crisp was $0.99/lb) but I'll have to check back another time for another batch. I was really happy to see they stocked frozen pierogies! My previous go-to grocery stopped stocking those, so I was very sad and pierogie-less for many months until now! read more

This has been a great store until today bad experience with the cashier. The other store employee(Pluto?) told me earlier the mushroom in bag is on sale for 1.99/lb, but the cashier insisted charging me at $3.99/lb. I double checked with Pluto who is in the back of warehouse. He confirmed again the price is $1.99/lb. But this cashier ignored Pluto's words I passed to him while Pluto is still. In the back of warehouse. The cashier claimed he will only wish to return us cash. He claimed he wouldn't sell to us.. eventually Pluto came out and told him in person the sale price and asked him to sell us. The cashier still he won't sell to us. We wait for Pluto to solve this for another 5 minutes. The his cashier eventually sold us at the price , but he is very rude claiming he wouldn't sell to us earlier because of our screaming to him., which is totally untrue. This market is awesome. It's a sister store of Sunnyvale's Felipe Market and always has jaw-droppingly cheap produce. I'm talking strawberries for $0.49/lb, Granny Smith apples for $0.39/lb, brussel sprouts for under $1/lb, etc. The cheapest produce changes almost daily based on supply, so you know they're getting produce fresh from the farms. And unlike Felipe's, this place is rarely crowded. As a fruit fanatic, I am a happier human with this store's existence. read more

Small little produce in Cupertino, they sells random vegetables Chinese, American and Asian. The price is very reasonable and for my opinion the quality is better than regular market. They also sell fruits- need to pick carefully bc the quality is hit and miss. The workers are very friendly and funny, they are very helpful. UPDATE: Came back recently and the prices were still competitive. Red bell peppers were $0.49/lb and orange bell peppers were $0.59/lb. As I am unfortunately pretty picky about my produce, it was a bit of a struggle finding perfect specimens, but with a bit of digging (with the pile admittedly almost falling over) I was able to fill a bag. I do appreciate the size of the store which makes it easier to maneuver around compared to Oakmont. However I think this place continues to struggle with turn over as the two times I have visited the store was not very crowded. Some of the other produce was priced competitively, but I did hesitate to pick them up. For example all the dino plums looked "near the end of it's life" (per my mom.) Admittedly, this is something you may counter at any place specializing in produce. Unfortunately, we forget this place exists since we are so used to going to Oakmont now. I think it is worth checking out if you are in the area, especially if you don't want to deal with the crowded Oakmont down the street. read more

Being a regular at Foothill Produce I'm excited to learn that a sister store is now opened (almost 2 months ago) in Cupertino. Just came back from my first visit and I'm happy to report a thumbs up. On a weekday morning, parking was a piece of cake (unlike the Los Altos store), produce are priced reasonably, well stocked and fresh looking. I found my favorite snack i.e.smoke sprat on the European imports food shelf. Compare to the other store, they do not have a deli counter, fridge and freezers are not as fully stocked and Isles are not as clustered. I can easily become a regular here, highly recommended. read more

So it looks like Felipe who owns Foothill Produce in Los Altos and Felipe's Market in Sunnyvale, decided to open up a third grocery store. For those who are unaware, this space used to be occupied by Imahara Produce (https://www.yelp.com/biz/imahara-produce-cupertino). They specialized in produce, but also specialized in hard-to-find Japanese and Hawaiian products. They closed sometime in July 2015 after being in business for many years. After sitting vacant for a while, Cupertino Market slowly began to come into fruition (pun intended). After a few bad experiences at Foothill Produce, I figured I'd drop by today here instead. I had a bad feeling it would be packed like sardines, but surprisingly they weren't that busy. Additionally, I was pleasantly surprised to find that this store actually has wide aisles and is, overall, more spacious than Felipe's other two stores. The selection of produce and ethnic products was pretty much the same as the other two stores as were the prices. Also, parking was plentiful and the store was well-lit. I would be a little careful when picking your items though. I came across a moldy kiwi. I think I might just have to come here for my fruits and veggies even though it's a little bit out of the way for me. They've only been open for a week, but as soon as the word gets around, I guarantee that this place will be packed like sardines given their low prices and wide selection of produce and whatnot. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ 4 stars read more

A real hidden gem, with great prices and great produce. I wish I had found this sooner! I usually did my produce shopping at Felipe's in Sunnyvale, but I haven't been going there since COVID because they don't enforce social distancing. Cupertino Market feels like it has the same owners, between the layout of the store, prices, etc. However, it isn't crowded as hell and they do enforce social distancing. I'm grateful for this place because I can finally buy good groceries at the best prices in the area, without having to deal with the COVID risk! The only real downside to this place is its size, which means a smaller selection compared to Felipe's - this won't be a one-stop shop for all your groceries. They don't carry my favorite tea here and their dairy section is a little lacking. However this more personal preference and doesn't detract from the fact that this is a must-visit grocery. Recently rediscovered this market. So much yummy fruit and vegetables for so little cost. The prices here are insanely low. They also carry some harder to find items like guava or Muscot grapes. Many of the items are organic and only a fraction of the price compared to the large supermarkets. They also have fresh bakery items. read more

What a hidden little gem! So glad I stopped by this grocery store. Pros: wide variety of exotic and organic fruits and items...jackfruit, purple sweet potatoes, baby pears, mushrooms, etc. There are also packaged, refrigerated and prepared items such as oils, my favorite Cerignola olives, Israeli bread and too many other items to name representing Asian, European, Middle Eastern countries. Friendly customer service! Prices are beyond reasonable! Cons: some produce and refrigerated items that are near the end of their shelf life...this is expected as they have voluminous produce at discounted prices. Don't get mad, just make sure to check there is no mold growing in your cheese, produce or bread and let the staff know and it will be taken care of...I have seen staff accept the "defective" produce in exchange for something else...no problems. If you're planning a large party, contribute something to a potluck or even just cooking for one or two people, this is a great place to pick up wonderful produce and ingredients for your gourmet kitchen. read more

If it wasn't for the $10+ butternut squash, I would have never caught this. The other items was sweet potato which was charged as purple yam at more than 2X the correct price. I'd like to give them the benefit of the doubt and say that the cashier 'punched in the wrong codes', but I will look very closely in the future...and will do it before I leave the store. This time unfortunately I didn't catch it until I got home (in Saratoga). Called right as I discovered the error; Martha said I had to bring everything back so they could audit (...errrrr...really?....). The next morning, I lugged everything back in a cooler, and Jovani said no I didn't have to bring the groceries back (...errrr...what?...). He kindly refunded me the two items, AND THEN went on to charge me the correct items for the correct prices...all of $2.11. Really...for all that extra work, hassle, and gasoline to come back to the store, they couldn't just let me keep the two dollars??? Check your receipts carefully and immediately. Otherwise, I have been a long time Oakmont store in Campbell and love the concept. read more

Stumble over to this place while visiting Jo-Ann's about a month ago. Look forward to shopping here weekly. Great prices, good selection of veggies(cauliflower, jalapeno roma tomatoes, asparagus, bok choy, jicama etc) & most of all they accept credit cards with no minimum .
