One of the best! Curbside is not Mexican food. Let's be real. It is, however, delicious! Such creative crunchwraps, burritos, and more! We've ordered from them countless times, and it's great every time. Their Chicken Caesar Crunchwrap is SO good, as is the Nashville Hot burrito, and just about everything on the menu! The only thing negative I can even think of is that their Burgerito is, while still very tasty, surprisingly less-creative than it sounds. The "burger" portion is effectively just ground beef, which is fine, and still tastes good, but was a bit of a let-down. The portions are huge, so you may not even need anything else, but each entree comes with free chips! They also have really good french fries, and they offer their own sodas. It's a small shop in a mostly residential area, but you know you're approaching when you can smell the food within a few blocks. Their menu has some creative burritos & crunchwraps. They have a lunch special as well. I was the only customer in there at the time so I was helped right away. I didn't realize until I got home but I ordered a crunchwrap but a burrito was made instead. It was okay though because what I had was delicious (the Mac attack) The size of the burrito was amazing, I got four servings from the one burrito. This is a small Mexican place that's great for take out inside there are a few tables to sit however it was really cold the day that I went so I decided not to stay in. They do have a large menu selection with many items so I did have to try a few. For starters I had wings with chipotle mayo sauce which is one of the sauces on the menu however I am sure it's not for wings. One thing I will say the guy helping me in the front told me to pick any flavor on the board however they were not all wing flavors. Idk I chose this and thought it would interesting but ended up with a bag of sauce instead of wings. Which is how I knew it was not a wing flavor. If you do get wings just go with the flavors that are on the screen that I later saw. I also got the nachos with shrimp 10/10 unreal best nachos that I have ever had! They literally had the perfect amount of everything seasoned well so good. I wanted to try the Mac and cheese and told them to put the bacon on the side. The bacon was crispy my daughter enjoyed that. The mac and cheese was just ok I liked the scallion maybe it would have been better if it was hot. Now let's get into the crunchwraps I got the chicken Cesar salad one which I was told is selling really well and I can see why it's good all the ingredients are in there giving different textures it's good. I also got the bubba but I did tell them to put fried chicken and shrimp I ended up getting grilled chicken and honestly it didn't matter. Ordered catering for a birthday party and literally everything was seamless from start to finish. Brandon (the owner) worked so well with us and was able to help us pick enough food for everyone. We got a half tray "make your own taco" pack with extra proteins, birria egg rolls, empanadas, and crunchwraps and we had way too much food (which I'm glad we did because Super Bowl!) Pick up was seamless and everything was packed snuggly so there was no sliding on transport home. Everything was delicious and I was so happy with everything. My family member picked this place for takeout. Man am I glad that she did! Wonderful chicken wings with a green sauce, Cowboy Quesadilla with flank steak. Fat Boy Anthony Burrito = chucken, onion, peppers, Poblano cheese. Fit Burrito had same with pineapple added. All cooked to perfection. The meat was seasoned and grilled just right with delicious fresh side of pico de gallo, Street Corn, onions and condiments. So good. Ordered delivery which was on time and packed well. This place is pretty popular with a lot of people taking it to go. I did a sit down and it was spacious and comfortable. My friend recommended the drive from nyc to Long Island to try this so that's what I did. Of all the things I ordered, I would probably order the Classico Crunchwrap again. (Additional $2 to the quesadilla for a Crunchwrap). It was pretty good and had a nice texture. The other comments say the food here is not that flavorful without the sauce and I would have to agree with that. I found myself dipping every bite in sauce just to add some flavor. Things I would not order again: 1. Avocado fries. Idk what I was expecting, but it was not this. The good part was that they were thick pieces of avocado, but the breading was flavorless and I just tasted the thick fatty avocado. 2. Street corn. I was expecting deconstructed elote which is exactly what it looked like. But once again, it didn't hit the spot like traditional elote does. First the corn tasted like canned corn - sorta stiff and not as sweet. Then the cheese and sauce were all there but they didn't combine to one entity like traditional elote does. Also, they have an extra charge if you use a credit card, which they do not tell you about. But workers were nice otherwise. Cowabunga crunch wrap: This was a special that was advertised as having a filling of mac and cheese, shrimp, and crabmeat. However, they used imitation crab despite not indicating so anywhere on the menu--if you order this expecting to get actual crab for your $18, you'll be sorely disappointed. It might have tasted better if it was real crab, too; mac and cheese with imitation crab was not a good combo. Strangely bland. Fit fajita burrito: Just dry yellow rice wrapped in a toasted flour tortilla--hardly any chicken or veggies to be found. This was just a bland carb attack. Genuinely difficult to get through. Fast service and the most delicious tacos I have ever tasted! I work at Molloy College, right down the road, and went here once a week pre-pandemic. When we were finally allowed to go to the office to pick up work and supplies, I made sure to make my appointment at lunchtime so that I could get a surf taco to go! Glad to have found this spot! I like their mexican with a twist although I didn't actually end up getting anything from that side of the menu. The bubba burrito was packed with rice and shrimp and the chipotle mayo was yummy, hope I can get an extra side of it next time. I like em saucy. Lives up to the Instagram hype! I liked a couple of pictures and always forgot to take a short trip over to try them out. The time had finally come. Check out their online ordering system, you can schedule for pick up or delivery. I set an order for pick up and got an expected pick up time. I was happy to find my order was ready before expected. Just pull up on the curb so that you are out of traffic when you're picking up your food. I got 3 crunch wraps for the family, and they were AMAZING. Very filling with meat and all the works. The price was on par with chipotle and qdobo. But wow do they lack in flavor in comparison which is absurd. I got a skirt steak Crunchwrap which looked great, but was just bland in flavor. I ordered extra cheese sauce on the side and aside from being a tad small; this as well didn't have much flavor to it. My wife and friends ordered a pulled pork bowl and steak bowl, again, they lacked any real flavor except for the pickled red onions. I decided to give this New Kid On The Block some local love during my lunch break. Curbside is literally curbside of Long Beach Road once you exit Hempstead. I was excited to learn that we finally had a new modern mexican grill in the area to venture out to during lunch. I arrived after 2:00 and the place was empty. There were some gentlemen working the counter and kitchen. Customer Service here is excellent and the decor is very modern, fresh, vibrant and accurately themed. My issue is that the decor doesn't measure up to the taste test here. I believe a few other Yelpers have stated, the food is bland. Particularly for me, that wasn't really a issue considering I cannot have certain dairy, poultry or meat. My only option was the Surf Shrimp Tacos. The menu limited me. The prices were sky high. $11 for 3 tacos is unheard of if you've been to Jackson Heights Queens. While they were not terrible unfortunately there was nothing remarkable about them. The ratio of mango pico slaw to Small Shrimp pieces was the obvious. A corn tortilla filled with purple cabbage and mango. Tiny baby shrimp. Now. I've been to Avo Taco in Mineola who offers a menu with more tasty vegetarian/ pescatarian menu items. I get that you're not going to pay $1 a taco for "high end mexican grills" but the prices are steep here for what you get. I wanted to try the avocado fries but not for $7. Not at all. For a avocado that's 99 cent. The guys here are really sweethearts I will say but when examining the cost VS the taste factor, unfortunately I can't say I will be back. There aren't many restaurants in this area of RVC so I was super excited to see Curbside Taco pop up! The inside is colorful and vibrant; I love the murals on the walls. The menu is unique, offering some classic Mexican food and some tacos/burritos/quesadillas with an American twist. Everything we had was delicious (Surf and Turf / Southern Comfort / Avocado Fries). We'll definitely be back! A few very minor suggestions on how to make it even better: napkins on the table or served with the food (same with utensils). Fresh ingredients, good quantity but the flavor a bit lacking when you don't add sauce. Some items are also a bit on the salty side alone. The quesadilla was fresh but bland with out sauce. It was Filling and hearty. The salad was tasty but on the salty side and the side of grilled chicken made it unbearably salty. Had lunch there this afternoon. I had 3 shrimp hard shell shrimp tacos, they were OK, I've had better. My wife had 3 beef soft shell tacos that were pretty tasty. Unfortunatley, they don't serve any red salsa, it was needed. As well it was a cool day outside, 50 deg. or so, and wasnt much warmer inside, where we sat to eat (bar stools only which is annoying) They were unable to warm it up much, I'm certainly not goiung back till next June unless they turn on some heat.
