This is one of my favorite restaurants in Whistler. It's so pretty. On a week night, parking is plentiful. The restaurant is located in Nita lodge, a beautiful hotel. The restaurant faces the lake and you get beautiful views from inside and outside. They have plenty of outdoor seating that is perfect for the spring or summer. The food is decent. I wouldn't say I come here for the food but more for the relaxing ambiance. It is pretty kid friendly. They give kids crayons and paper to color. The staff is always nice. read more

We wanted to have lunch by the water in Whistler and this place popped up. Great little view of Nita Lake. There is lots of seating outside, along with some patio furniture and fire pits. Service was super friendly. What else do you expect in Whistler! But it was slow. It took about 30 minutes for our soup and salad. We came here during happy hours. I have to do a shout out to Brianne who was our server. She went over and above getting us a table. We came in and due to the staff shortage, she was the only server working. Table seating was very limited. My friend ate at the Cure multiple times and she went up to her. She let us sit down without a reservation. This was very nice of her. B an I ordered off of the happy hour menu: a pitcher of mojito to share, Soy ginger wings and bbq wings and calamari. I really liked the soy ginger wings. It was very flavorful. The wings came with house made ranch sauce. This restaurant is located inside Nita Lake Lodge. We had a patio seating and the view was very gorgeous. We sat in front of the lake. It was super beautiful. Cure only opens after 2 pm. In the morning the restaurant becomes Aora. We will definitely be back to try out other items. We definitely had a great time eating at this restaurant. They have a very good Happy Hour selection. I highly recommend trying this place out. Shorted us a side of fries with a burger. We drove from whsitler village all the way to the cure to pick up some burgers. One of the burgers didn't have the side of fries. We didn't notice until we got back. When I called, the manager: 1: Argued with us on the existance of the fries (?) 2: Told us we can get free fries on our next order. A couple visits to the Cure lounge now on those nights that we didn't have the energy to leave the Nita. I always love a hotel lounge. Cure doesn't disappoint. You can sit by the fire ( indoors and outdoors), the bar, comfy couches, tables or booths around the edge of the room. On our last visit the two of us were able to share a couch right in front of the giant tv to watch some NHL playoffs and it felt like we were in our living room. So cozy and relaxed. The sangria that was on special was yum yum. They have a decent wine and beer list and the bar looks stacked. We shared buttermilk fried chicken ( it was more like chicken fingers), kale and field green salad and margherita flatbread. We ate it all. This isn't 5 star food but it is fresh and fast and tasty. Last time I had a portobello mushroom burger and loved it. I have dined here with my parents and sister and it was absolutely suitable for families of all ages. If I was staying in the village I am not sure I would go out of my way to come here but if you are staying in Creekside it's a good call. And I will always stop in for a drink at least on my bike ride on the valley trail. read more

My husband and I dropped in because we were staying in the hotel and wanted a light dinner. It's a good thing we weren't that hungry. He ordered the chicken wings on the Tuesday special -- $15 -- and I ordered the poke dish. It was $26 but I figured the local salmon would be delicious. The wings were standard bar food and tasty with the honey garlic sauce. But the poke bowl? It had less than an ounce of salmon in it. It was, truly, an appetizer portion. But the worst part? It was swimming in spicy mayo, destroying every other flavor. When I brought it up to our waiter, he brought us some ranch to dilute the spicy mayo. Really? That's the solution to a kitchen error? Just cover it with ranch and eat it? And the total before tip for those two dishes? $46. I cannot recommend this restaurant -- unless you're a big fan of spicy mayo or covering your food with ranch dressing. read more

Hands down, one of the best places we've eaten, ever. Yes. You read that right... Ever. My husband got the Cure Burger and I got the Grilled Cheese and Pear Sandwich with Tomato Soup. We both looked at each other with wide eyes the moment we took our first bites. Absolutely amazing. Every ingredient went with the others and made for a lovely lunch on a hot August day. The Calamari is a must, although a bit too salty for our preference. The Short Rib Flatbread is scrumptuous and good for sharing. Soba noodle salad is refreshing for this summer weather. Will definitely want to bring others here next time I visit Whistler, and maybe look into staying at the Nita Lake Lodge which is where this restaurant is located. Came here for apres and the place was bumpin! Inside was packed but got the couch with fire table and heat lamps outside. They have blankets as well so we stayed super cozy. From 2pm-4pm is their happy hour so we ordered glasses of house wine ($8 for a large glass), cans of Coast Mountain Beer ($6 tall can) and chicken wings ($14). The chicken wings were the best I've had in a while - super crunchy, meaty, served with carrot/celery and ranch. There were about 12 on the plate so a very generous serving. Sitting outside is great for people and dog watching - walking on the icy lake, taking icy dips in the lake, and just the view in itself. Service was great as well. read more

With views of the lake and a comfortable sitting arrangement for both drinks and snacks, Cure Lounge is a popular stop for visitors staying at the Lodge. We stopped by for Happy Hour and enjoyed our cocktails as well as the Bloody Caesar (Canada's version of the Bloody Mary) we later brought to our room. The Happy Hour snacks including the pita and hummus and the chips and dip were less impressive. The hummus was thick and chunky and the dip was super plain and the chips were no better than a decent bag of generic potato chips. Thought I'd check this place out while away having a little mini vacation. The ambiance is cozy, modern, trendy, upbeat and around all inviting. The service was decent. I can't really comment on the food except to say I ordered a Caesar salad that had no wow factor at all but the other items may be better. It was convenient as it's in the lodge I was staying in and seemed like a friendly upbeat place. My friend ordered the short rib flat bread and said it was really good and tasty. The bar was inviting but there's so many great places in Whistler I think I'll keep exploring but no real complaints from my end. It's a good place and I have no reason to say not to check it out. If I ever stay at the lodge again I may go back but I rarely vacation to the same place twice. read more

Food was ok, service needs some work. We put an order in for take out but had to call them after getting back to Whistler village as there was an missing order of fries. Instead of managing the issue like professionals, we were challenged as to whether we were telling the truth as the expo assured the manager that they had packed everything with our order, so the manager went back to double check with the expo and admitted that they messed up and apologized. Then informed us that due to COVID they were running short on staff. If they said this initially instead of making the customer feel like they were being dishonest, it would have resolved the issue. They tried to make up for their mistake by giving us free fries the next time we visited their restaurants, but we don't live in Whistler and were leaving early in the morning. So the issue didn't get resolved, guess no more take out from this restaurant. read more

This is a very cute little restaurant near our resort that we decided to try while visits whistler. I ordered the grilled cheese and pear sandwich and my husband got the burger. Beautiful location and restaurant in whistler. Food is very good. Recommend the smash burger. However the service is extremely slow when it comes to ordering drinks. We waited 30 minutes for our beers and then the server told us that they were out of that particular beer after waiting for 30 minutes. On average it took 20 minutes to get our drinks after that and the restaurant was only half full. The bartenders were standing around and talking to each other instead of focusing on their job. We started on the patio for a couple drinks before dinner and were able to grab one of the fire pits. They offer you blankets which was a nice touch to still enjoy the view and fresh air! Our waiter, Alexi, was wonderful! So personable and attentive. We moved inside for dinner and 2 of us had the daily special - chicken parm - and it was delicious!! We were hungry around lunch time but didn't want to eat anything too filling because we had a massage appointment at Scandinave Spa so we opted for a light snack. Cure is the little lobby bar/lounge area across from Aura inside Nita Lake Lodge. We sat down by the window so we could enjoy the lake view while we ate. 1. Mushroom Chowder - I usually don't like cream soups/chowder, I guess being Asian has messed up my soup preferences haha but I like clear soups. However Rick is a big chowder fan so he talked me into this. It was actually really good, not too thick which was perfect for my water texture soup preference. I also liked that this wasn't seafood lol. The bacon wasn't too present either which I also liked. 2. Beef Burger minus the beef - replaced with Chicken since Rick doesn't eat beef. IT was good, very light and had your typical toppings (tomato, cheese, lettuce, onion). The fries were OK - nothing to write home about. Service was good, it was one guy working the whole lounge area and it wasn't too busy so he was pretty efficient about clearing our plates and getting us the bill when we were finished. read more

We were staying at Nita Lake Lodge so after a long day of sightseeing we thought a casual dinner at the hotel would be good. They also advertise $15 burgers on Wednesday so how could we pass that up. When entering the lounge it wasn't clear where to go. We wanted to sit outside and found it to be full. No wait list and we were told grab a table when it opens. Fortunately a couple sitting near us said they'd be leaving in a few minutes. Good thing because everyone else looked settled in. Waitstaff were friendly but noticeably busy with all the tables full. We ordered a cocktail each and burgers with fries. Cocktails were good, burgers were delicious! Burger patty could have been slightly larger as I devoured it in a few minutes.
