Third time's the charm, folks…read more I've had a tough time finding a stylist who can give a decent haircut in the area. It's been a lot of disappointments and a lot of hats. I think I can put my hats away now: Megan knows how to cut hair. I gave her the same spiel I'd given the other stylists: I have a history of funky hair and I'd like to keep it that way. I'm growing it out, but I'd rather have it take longer and have my hair look good along the way. I also told her I was really nervous after my last couple haircuts in the tri-cities. For the first time, I felt heard. She explained her game plan for growing out while keeping it looking tidy. She asked how I liked to style it, asked what kind of product I liked to use, and set to snip-snipping away and thinning out my thick and heavy hair. She was chatty and friendly and overall delightful. Best of all? I have a haircut I like. I look and feel like myself. After a couple months of looking and feeling frumpy, it feels great to be back to normal.

I DIDN'T TRUST ANYONE. but it started to look...bad. something needed to be done if my self esteem was to remain remotely intact. reasons im hair-nervous? 1) im a hairdresser myself, and incredibly picky. 2.) i've had the same person do my hair for a really, really long time. 3.) i like my hair funky. and people's definitions of "funky" can sometimes be more on the tame side. in better words- my hair requests can freak even a season stylist out. i researched like a mad woman, and just felt this good vibe about three little birds. i took my xanax (im just kidding) and headed megan's way. i was put at ease seriously seconds after i walked in and saw her smiling face waiting to greet me. megan LISTENS. she gives a good head massage. she uses great products (kenra). the aesthetic of the salon was comforting. she's effing hilarious. she understands my funkiness. best part? she knows her stuff. 2legit2quit4real it was a little hard to give over money when you've been used to getting cuts for free (barter system, you rock) BUT $45 for her services is a steal, you guys. she was worth every damn penny. my mullet is gone. my layers are light and refreshed. my bangs aren't all up in my grill and they swoop to the side perfectly. im the prettiest belle of the ball. sad im living in the area only until the end of summer- im going to dream up some hair adventures so i can see megan a few more times!!

Save your money, your nails and your time and go somewhere else…read more I was visiting from out of town and, unfortunately, ended up at this place. It was absolutely terrible. There were no other customers and the first person I ended up with was clearly new. I still gave her a chance since that didn't necessarily mean she wasn't skilled but that became evident after a while and when they had to have someone else come over to try to salvage the manicure. An hour and a half, a few bleeding nail beds, and 2 people later, I ended up paying a lot of money for the worst manicure I have ever had. I should have trusted my instincts and left when I got there or abandoned part way through but, at that time, I didn't want to have to go somewhere else to start over, although in hindsight that would have been better.

I should have listened to my gut as soon as I went in and saw that instead of soaking off my powder…read moredipped nails, the technician went in with a nail clipper and VERTICALLY CLIPPED THE TIPS. I think she was trying to break up the product, but in the process she broke my natural nails as well. Needless to say, the service went downhill from there and I was back only 6 days after having gotten my new dipped nails (on much shorter nails due to aforementioned damage) because they were chipped and cracked. I did get a refund but after I removed the product myself by slowly soaking them off (I didn't want them to do anything else with my nails), noticed damage on my nail bed as well. Save your money and your nails, go somewhere else.

Jenni has been cutting my hair for about five years (I followed her when she switched salons). I won't let anyone else touch my hair (except for Melissa, the owner). Jenni once asked if I wanted a certain cut she had just learned about in New York (she continues her education and is current on styles, tricks, and trends even though she has years of experience) and I said yes without having seen it! Jenni said she would get a picture at the same time I said yes, we laughed. Of course I loved it. Jenni listens to me, has gotten to know my style and preferences so much that I trust her completely. am getting my hair dyed and I told her to just do whatever. I am so picky with my hair. Jenni is truly gifted. I've heard the same about Melissa from her clients as well. This is a new salon run by very talented and experienced women. I will continue to return again and again. I highly recommend this salon to anyone looking for a new stylist/salon.

Stated since I was 1st time customer I needed to pay cash no check or credit card. So I got my drimel out & took the polish off myself. I'm a licensed cosmetologist & did my own nails for years. I was the only client in salon she said after Covid she lost her staff, she & husband were working to keep business afloat. Covid hit so many small businesses. Tiffany is pleasant, talkative & gets to know you quickly. She did a great job on my long nails. I was disappointed when she charged me $70. I didn't question her just paid & gave her a $10 tip.
