This coffee shop has a cool vibe. Plenty of seating, inside and out. They also have street parking and a small parking lot. We were greeted as soon we walked in. I got their caffe nico and my husband got their hazelnut latte. We both enjoyed our coffees and I loved that the nico has real orange in it!! Our only complaint is that we wish they had larger coffee sizes. We also tried their chocolate chip cookies....OMG!! Amazing and they even have a little salt on top to enhance the flavor. We will definitely come back by when we are in town.

I really like the atmosphere and overall vibes here - the staff is always super friendly and willing to answer any questions you might have. I've been here twice now trying different drinks and pastries and each time I've left satisfied! The first time I came I ordered the honey and nougat latte which wasn't overly sweet (which I appreciated) and a guava concha that they outsource from Aurora Bakery. The second time I ordered their cold brew with sweet cream cold foam and the horchata coffee cake. I've really enjoyed everything I've tried so far!

I feel like I've waited so long for this spot to open and now it did! And I went! Nothing about it was disappointing. The staff was warm and friendly as soon as I walked in. They answered all my coffee questions and my order came up quickly. The space was roomy with high ceilings and plenty of table and chairs. Most of them were full! A great experience and will be back. A LOT.

This new coffee shop is a fantastic addition to the neighborhood! The space itself is large and welcoming, with tons of seating options like stools, chairs, and a sofa. The coffee is really good, and they have a great selection of fresh pastries and quick grab-and-go sandwiches. While they don't have a dedicated parking lot, there are plenty of easy parking options close by. What really stood out to me was the customer service--everyone was incredibly friendly and welcoming. It was the perfect way to start my morning, and I'll definitely be back!

Enjoyed a morning snack here on 6/11/2026: Food: N/A Atmosphere: 5/5 This is ideal for dates as well as group catch up! Their space is big enough and the furnitures are nice! Loved the not so bright aesthetic. If you are into decorating and interior designing, this coffeeshop will be your favorite because it was just beautiful without being "trendy." Service: 4/5 It was "order at the counter and find your own seat and table" set up. Very limited menu but the service was decent. Matcha: 1/5 My iced matcha latte with almond milk was okay! I was not expecting a lot because coffee must be their specialty; and yes, coffee was good according to the person I went with. With my matcha, I was unable to taste the matcha and felt like drinking just an almond milk. (Currently not ranked)

This is it. The Shawnee coffee scene just leveled up and is now competing with some of the best coffee shops in the country. Beautiful, spacious café with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, friendly staff, and beans roasted in house. This is destined to become one of KC's go to meetup spots. Congratulations and cheers!

Great addition to downtown Shawnee. Lovely coffee shop that is also a roaster. The coffee itself was delicious, the Pastries looked absolutely delicious, they were brought in from a local bakery. Plenty of seating around, cool merch, the staff were warm and welcoming. I'm excited to come back again! Vegan friendly coffee

I was so excited about a new coffee shop not far from my home that stayed open later than two! My husband and I decided to try it out together. It was very busy, which was to be expected since it is brand new to the area. The nice thing is that it is large and has a good amount of seating. There are a variety of tables with wooden chairs. There is a couch and a short table in front of it. There's also a movable rolling high top with stools next to the garage door style window, which can be moved for fresh air if they open it. They also have quite a bit of patio seating out front. The barista that served us upon ordering was friendly. I ordered an iced latte with oat milk and sugar-free vanilla. This is my typical drink when I go to coffee shops. My husband ordered a honey nougat latte with an added flavor that I can't remember right now. I saw on a real that it looks like they offered baked goods, but I did not see any at that time so maybe they were sold out? Anyways, even though it was busy, we found a table. It took quite a while for the order to be made because it was busy. When I went to get our order, I believe that my husband's drink was an error because he remade it. Unfortunately I had to throw away my latte because it the sugar-free syrup was extremely saccharine tasting. Some coffee shops have perfectly good sugar-free syrups and quite a few do not have good ones. My husband always orders a hot latte and he never uses any sweetener. But he didn't even finish his either because he said a bitter aftertaste in his mouth and I could tell if I continue to drink mine. I would probably have some acid reflux issues. This rarely happens and I frequent a wide variety of coffee shops throughout KC. So that was quite disappointing. So I decided to go up in order a hot herbal tea. I was a little bit irritated because there was a guy in front of me ordering and then I was next. And then they just literally let me stand there and ignored me. Finally, the same barista who was nice turned around and saw me and came over (he had been making drinks) and took my order. The tea was good and I continue to enjoy that and read my book that I usually do a coffee shops. The lighting is good in the shop, but the playlist was a bit too loud and reminded me of a brewery playlist, generally distracting. So nevertheless, I was disappointed because the coffee just was too bitter for our personal preference. I'm sure they will have great success since they are on the main Johnson Drive strip and next to many of the breweries and bars.

(Also if there is a line, power through it. They move very quick here) Maybe because we came on a Saturday, it was very crowded. We still found a seat but it is a little loud for a coffee shop. I enjoyed how they had some comfortable seating options tucked away in hidden corners to combat this. The portions are good sizes that match the quality of the items. The toast came on this very thick, in-house bread that was the star of the show. I wish there was a little more lemon or salt with the avocado, but it was still good none the less. My friend got a jam toast, which we both preferred over the avocado. As the the coffee, I about died it was so good. Don't judge Coca Cola and espresso until you have tried it! This is a drink that hasn't really made its way to the Midwest, so I was ecstatic when I looked on the season menu and saw that Dogtor's Orders featured cherry coke, espresso and cherry cold foam. It came out as pretty as it tasted, and I'm already thinking of my next one. When you stop by, definitely glance at the seasonal coffee board propped in front of the checkout. Those will be your best options and they don't last forever, so try it while you can. Only reason I didn't elevate this review to a five star is because the prices here are a little steep and can add up even more with modifications.

Maybe it's the former barista in me, but I just never know what I'm gonna walk into. I was bit extra hesitant as I knew from reading reviews that this place was a bit off the beaten path, and as I routed myself there and found my car meandering through a suburban office parking lot maze I became even more nervous about my plan to work from here. All of that being said, once I got close to the coffeeshop itself I saw a sign clearly visible from the lot which was my first breath of relief. The signage is spectacular for a fairly hidden spot. Yes, you need to know it's here, but you will find it rest assured! If you don't see the sign keep hunting. The nice thing about it being in an office park is that there is ample parking. I was able to park and walk right in. The inside is modern but inviting, and at 9am I was able to have my pick of the tables. The day I was there was nice and I had my laptop so I went outside to their patio. I worked out there for about an hour and when I came inside to take a video call it was packed! I was able to snag a table and purchased a sparkling water before using their wifi (which was great!). Now to the coffee - I had a dirty chai and it was honestly wonderful. No notes. The baristas were friendly and overall I had a great time. Adding this to my list of great work spots in JOCO.
