The workspace is super spacious and well lit! The pulled pork burrito was tasty, but the eggs were a bit overcooked. My flat white was milky, however the barista was super kind to try and make things right.

    So much space to cowork!

The space is big and full of seating, with ample outlets for those who need to work or study, and plenty of opportunity to find and host community. Their seasonal bevs are so good, and this is the only place in town you can get teal foam on your drink! The staff is kind, the bathrooms are gorgeous, and it's run by your favorite soccer players.

I love that Pitchside has opened a brick and mortar location since I was never able to coordinate a visit to their mobile coffee truck. The shop is owned my a group of Current players and the teal colors are prevalent as is Pitchside merch that represents the team but does not infringe on KC Current trademarks. The space is big and bright with lots of seating options, plants, and a very cool mural. They are currently using beans from Post Coffee but are in the works to roast their own in the near future. I was greeted with a hearty welcome from the barista and given a "KC Baby" discount since I was wearing my KC Current cap! I ordered a large iced latte with inhouse made peanut butter / caramel syrup. Very refreshing and tasty while sipping inside on an early autumn day with the garage doors open. I couldn't help but notice a group of ladies sitting at a nearby table that fit the age bracket and physical requirements to be soccer players, so with the help of the internet, I searched the Current's lineup and identified two as proprietor / players - Elizabeth Ball and Kristen Hamilton; very cool. So if you want to have a great beverage and hob-knob with local celebrities, put on your KC Current merch and head on over to 18th and Grand - "KC BABY"!

One of my favorite new coffee shops in the crossroads/downtown area! It's a bonus that's it's owned by some of the city's royalty, Kansas City Current players. The flavors here are so yummy and creative and the food they have curated is some of the best in the city. Did someone say Luca bagels?! And a breakfast burrito in collaboration with buck tui bbq. If you're looking for a great expresso tonic with hints of orange blossom and honey then definitely give that a try but, if you're in the mood for something sweeter and creamy I recommend the peanut butter caramel latte or the cinnamon brown sugar latte that is so warm and comforting. The syrups are all made in house and the oat milk they use is top tier. Really you can't go wrong with Pitchside no matter what you order.

Finally checked out this new coffee shop opened by 6 KC Current players. Their seasonal menu comes out soon. They have some fun flavors for lattes and the peanut butter caramel, so good! They also have some pastries and burritos. Down in the crossroads. Theirs fun wall paintings and sports on TV. And that were so friendly.

What a beautiful coffee shop! Plenty of seating inside, very spacious. TVs are on playing soccer. The shop itself is ran by a few KC current players. The coffee itself was impressive, had the brown sugar latte which was excellent. Would come again. Vegan friendly

My family and I love our Teal Town ladies so we of course had to hit up the new physical location of this cafe (18th and Grand, KCMO) to give our support and get our drink on! It's a very open area (the opening is basically a garage door), so plenty of air and sunlight on a clear late morning! Drinks and bites reasonably priced but when you factor in direct support of the entrepreneurial vision of the founders and their supporters, it's well worth supporting local even more

Finally had the opportunity to stop by Pitchside this morning & glad I did! They were doing a collaboration with Muni for brunch. I got an iced hazelnut latte and it was yummy. The little trailer is cute and the girls are super friendly!

The best homemade syrups, breakfast burritos and Hana's donuts. Plenty of space and WiFi to get work done!

Absolutely wonderful! My coffee was delicious, couldn't be more happy. The team at Pitchside Coffee are the absolute best. If you're looking for a great cup of coffee whether you like it iced or hot they have you covered. Can't wait to see there success not only on the Pitch, but as well as with there new endeavor.

Got an A-M-A-Z-I-N-G Iced Vanilla Latte!! Coolest staff of any coffee shop in KC!!! Can't wait for their next pop-up!!

I also love their use of several other local bakeries like Luca Bagel or Blackhole Bakery to fill out their menu.

I also got a breakfast burrito (not gf) the second morning, which was delicious + had great heat. The coffee here was also amazing, although I opted for very basic oat milk lattes each morning. My husband got a maple tahini latte one morning + a smoked something or other on the other morning we went. My husband + son got croissants both mornings and loved them, but they also had some seriously cute rainbow donuts on display, which I was a bit shocked that my five year old passed by. The baristas were all very friendly and helpful, which I appreciated + the space was great with an open kitchen concept/plenty of seating. This seems like a great spot to work from, although they also had a wonderful (windy) rooftop to sit on also.. that looked like it had a fireplace for chillier days- so cozy. Best coffee in KC.

With a variety of flavors (both standard and unique) there is truly something for everyone. I tried an elderberry latte and enjoyed it. I haven't seen elderberry syrup offered at other shops and it was super fun to try something new and different. Eclectic decor in the older building with exposed brick walls and a fair amount of plants up front. It's a large space with a variety of seating options - maybe 4 or 5 two-tops along the windows in the front, a few large booths that could sit six each if you're cozy, 3 or 4 nooks with a mix of couches and stereotypical coffee shop seating, a larger table in the back, and some bar seating as well. The traditional coffeeshop style seating is a nice touch, and feels like a throwback to a different era, when coffee shops weren't just a ton of people on laptops. That being said, they're clearly trying to draw in remote workers and their ilk, with plentiful outlets (i.e. four outlets at the booth I sat at and I can see 4 under counter outlets for every 2 or 3 bar stools. They've also got signage at the tables encouraging sharing the larger spaces/inviting others to sit with you. Was probably a little quieter than normal since it was Memorial Day, so the sign to share the space didn't come in to play, but I appreciate the vibe and community they're trying to create. Decaf americano was fine, but it was in a paper cup which felt like a bit of a miss. They didn't ask if I wanted it for here or not, but I do see some mugs on top of the large Rancilio espresso machine (so the purists may balk it's not a La Marzocco).
