A lovely space with a strong drink selection and plenty of room to hang out, though the acoustic acoustics can make it a bit loud even with low crowd levels. Fantastic layout with ample tables and comfortable seating. However, because the space is filled with hard surfaces, sound echoes easily--making it surprisingly noisy even when only one group is chatting. Iced Mocha was A hit--flavorful, well-balanced, and highly recommended by the table. Channel Orange fell short due to a strong, overly bitter profile that missed the mark on flavor balance. A solid variety of options across the board. Don't guess on the signature drinks--ask the baristas for recommendations based on your sweet, bold, or subtle flavor preferences so you don't end up with an overly bitter brew. read more

It's an expensive cup of coffee, haha. It's artisanal and crafted with care, and I would by lying if I said I didn't absolutely LOVE their cornbread caramel latte with oat milk, but my wallet hurts after going, haha. My heart also breaks that the aforementioned drink is a seasonal item and not there as a menu staple. The space can sometimes be a little loud because of the music, but overall, it's still a good coworking place. They have ample plug-ins, small tables, larger tables, two non-gendered restrooms, and an area with bar seating. The staff have always been lovely, and the place has always been super clean. Note: When you enter the cafe, there are a set of stairs you have to walk down to order and get to the seating area. There are no elevators, and I did not notice any ramps. You may have to call to ask them what your options are if you have different mobility needs. For parking, it usually not too bad. It is street-parking, but they're the diagonal kind on either side of the street where you can back into/pull into. They are also free (no meters) without a time limit. Good Karma has easily become one of my favorite spots for coffee and coworking in KC. If I was a mean person, I would be gate-keeping this one! read more

Came in to try the banana pudding latte, while it was yummy, they unfortunately couldn't make it sugar free, which was a bummer for me. It did have some interesting cchunks in it I think of banana but not 100% sure. Of all the banana lattes I've had I'd rate this 6/10. Wow! I stumbled across this place by just being in the area. When I walked in, I was greeted by a large staircase and smiling baristas at the bottom, both saying "welcome in". I felt right at home. I saw online people talking about a banana pudding latte in which I ordered it as well. WONDERFUL, smooth, the flavor just makes sense order it, you'll thank me later. Super cute little cafe just off Martini Corner. I feel like this area is really beginning to change with tons of businesses moving in. The Black Pantry is located here now and it's awesome to be able to support this business along with shopping their locally made goods. The coffee community has been abuzz about this coffee shop. Located in midtown, it's in an odd spot. But it's easy to find. Ample street parking. Outdoor signage helped me find the door. The inside is open and airy. Lots of art fill the walls. The staff are patient, knowledgeable and friendly. The menu is small which is good because it was hard to make a decision - it all sounded good. My friend ordered a drip coffee. Surprisingly she had to wait longer than normal for them to brew a pot. I ordered the cornbread caramel latte. It was creamy and very delicious! The down side- the hot beverages only come in one size. I didn't try any of the baked goods but they looked delicious. I absolutely love their flavors. They change seasonally. Right now they have a blueberry cobbler syrup that you can either pair with a latte or a lemonade. Speaking of lemonade, you can have it still or sparkling. The baristas are always informative. I came in the other day and asked for decaf and they had it readily available. I love the space! It's open and inviting. It's set up to create opportunities for people to connect with each other. There's also some board games that people can play. Hard to find this spot on Gillham bc the building doesn't say Good Karma. The windows says Market on one side and Bar on the other.
