    Banana pudding iced latte
    Shauncei G.

Came in to try the banana pudding latte, while it was yummy, they unfortunately couldn't make it sugar free, which was a bummer for me. It did have some interesting cchunks in it I think of banana but not 100% sure. Of all the banana lattes I've had I'd rate this 6/10. The building was also kind of difficult to find as signage wasn't super great, but I did end up finding it! Street parking out front, the workers were friendly, the bathroom was clean. I did love all the seating types and the vibe was very relaxed! They also serve alcohol which is neat as well'

Wow! I stumbled across this place by just being in the area. When I walked in, I was greeted by a large staircase and smiling baristas at the bottom, both saying "welcome in". I felt right at home. I saw online people talking about a banana pudding latte in which I ordered it as well. WONDERFUL, smooth, the flavor just makes sense order it, you'll thank me later. This space is large and would be perfect for studying, a little meeting, or simply lounging. Will be back again!

Super cute little cafe just off Martini Corner. I feel like this area is really beginning to change with tons of businesses moving in. The Black Pantry is located here now and it's awesome to be able to support this business along with shopping their locally made goods. What set this spot above and beyond for me was the customer service. Sometimes I feel like baristas can be impersonable, but the folks working behind the bar here were insanely kind and full of recommendations. I'll definitely be back!

I adore this place, it's very spacious and inviting, the baristas are all sweet and I appreciate that they do unique seasonal drinks I don't often see elsewhere. They have items like candles, honey, flavorings, records, books and art from other local businesses and often do community oriented events. Definitely check them out!

Another day, another visit to KC's best coffee shop. Today I got an iced banana pudding latte (the last one, sorry guys). I also go a maple bacon biscuit. Again. Because it's heavenly. This latte is absolutely delicious as well. The service is always stellar and the place has such chill vibes. If you're still under that rock, time to come out and for them a visit.

Plants and art fill the interiors

The coffee community has been abuzz about this coffee shop. Located in midtown, it's in an odd spot. But it's easy to find. Ample street parking. Outdoor signage helped me find the door. The inside is open and airy. Lots of art fill the walls. The staff are patient, knowledgeable and friendly. The menu is small which is good because it was hard to make a decision - it all sounded good. My friend ordered a drip coffee. Surprisingly she had to wait longer than normal for them to brew a pot. I ordered the cornbread caramel latte. It was creamy and very delicious! The down side- the hot beverages only come in one size. I didn't try any of the baked goods but they looked delicious. Owner Brian has a great concept, space and product. If you're in the neighborhood its worth a stop.

I absolutely love their flavors. They change seasonally. Right now they have a blueberry cobbler syrup that you can either pair with a latte or a lemonade. Speaking of lemonade, you can have it still or sparkling. The baristas are always informative. I came in the other day and asked for decaf and they had it readily available. I love the space! It's open and inviting. It's set up to create opportunities for people to connect with each other. There's also some board games that people can play. It's also connected to the Black Pantry so people can buy different products. They're reasonably priced. I actually got some soda from there slightly cheaper than I paid at another store. It's definitely one of my favorite coffee shops in the area.

I love the space that Good Karma has. I like the small local goods that are for sale and the overall family run vibe of the coffee shop. I ordered a classic vanilla latte and it came out the perfect color, you get it. Cute branding and really good espresso flavor. Will be back again.

    Ube matcha latte

Great new coffee shop to add to the KC coffee scene. Menu is small but always a good sign. I had their special ube matcha latte and it was so delicious and not too sweet! They do make their own syrups. Perfect place to stop in for your caffeine fix, lots of space for chatting with friends or if you need alone time as well. Staff was great and very warm and welcoming! Final review: 5/5 stars

    Dark chocolate Latte
    Sathish N.

The staff & barista were kind & welcoming. They really put a lot of effort into art & aesthetics. Lot of tables, sofa & seating available inside and you might also find some books. Since I was there to pickup some slow rise donuts, I tried only their coffee in this visit. Dark chocolate latte was amazing & I can't wait to come back here and try their pastries & breakfast someday. PS: Their coffee cups are cute!

    Cornbread caramel latte

They made a cornbread caramel latte taste like legit cornbread. They made an unlikely flavor really stand out as the best latte I've had all year, no joke. Incredible atmosphere, a lot of intention went into the design. They've gone the extra mile to make everything wheelchair accessible, and that wins huge points in my book. Service is neither too much nor too little. They're not trying to be Chick-fil-A but also not Arby's, y'l

Hard to find this spot on Gillham bc the building doesn't say Good Karma. The windows says Market on one side and Bar on the other. Laura fixed my 16oz iced Candied yams with Caramel latte, first asking my sweetness level. This is the only size latte they offer. It's definitely a unique flavor and precisely as you'd expect The cafe space is very large with a mini martket with food and merchandise to purchase. There's four separate spaces outside of the bar area to sit, to read, work or just relax.

A spacious cafe that doubles as a retail shop, selling products from black businesses, makers and artists. Good Karma has a large table for a group and a few comfy chair pits and a few bar stools for counter seating. With plenty of products to browse, art to admire; plan on taking some time to enjoy the space and the offerings. My Dirty Soul Chai was potent and wonderful. Soul is the brand name of the chai mix they use and it is also on sale in cans to take and make at home. I also grabbed a box of PB&J pop-tarts made by a company in The Bronx, whose name Yelp won't let me publish, but I will post a photo. Good stuff. A casual and welcoming spirit here. I shall return.

Peach Cobbler Cinnamon Roll. It was amazingly beautiful and delicious.

I also got a breakfast burrito (not gf) the second morning, which was delicious + had great heat. The coffee here was also amazing, although I opted for very basic oat milk lattes each morning. My husband got a maple tahini latte one morning + a smoked something or other on the other morning we went. My husband + son got croissants both mornings and loved them, but they also had some seriously cute rainbow donuts on display, which I was a bit shocked that my five year old passed by. The baristas were all very friendly and helpful, which I appreciated + the space was great with an open kitchen concept/plenty of seating. This seems like a great spot to work from, although they also had a wonderful (windy) rooftop to sit on also.. that looked like it had a fireplace for chillier days- so cozy. Best coffee in KC.

Eclectic decor in the older building with exposed brick walls and a fair amount of plants up front. It's a large space with a variety of seating options - maybe 4 or 5 two-tops along the windows in the front, a few large booths that could sit six each if you're cozy, 3 or 4 nooks with a mix of couches and stereotypical coffee shop seating, a larger table in the back, and some bar seating as well. The traditional coffeeshop style seating is a nice touch, and feels like a throwback to a different era, when coffee shops weren't just a ton of people on laptops. That being said, they're clearly trying to draw in remote workers and their ilk, with plentiful outlets (i.e. four outlets at the booth I sat at and I can see 4 under counter outlets for every 2 or 3 bar stools. They've also got signage at the tables encouraging sharing the larger spaces/inviting others to sit with you. Was probably a little quieter than normal since it was Memorial Day, so the sign to share the space didn't come in to play, but I appreciate the vibe and community they're trying to create. Decaf americano was fine, but it was in a paper cup which felt like a bit of a miss. They didn't ask if I wanted it for here or not, but I do see some mugs on top of the large Rancilio espresso machine (so the purists may balk it's not a La Marzocco).
