WOW! This is the best Indian food I have had in Utah! The garlic cheese naan will live rent free in my head for a while. It was so tasty! The Palak Paneer puts every Paneer Saag to shame, it was delectable. The Fish Moilee was succulent and rich! We recommend getting it at a medium spice or more. The Kabab was the best piece of chicken I have ever put in my mouth, of any cuisine. It comes out sizzling with a mouth watering aroma bellowing through the air; you have to try it! Not pictured was the sweet corn soup, samosas, and mango lassi- all exceptional. The team there are all so amazing and passionate about the restaurant. They shared with us how they don't use the same base over and over with slight variations and are committed to developing the flavors and sticking to the recipe of each dish individually. It shows. Every bite tasted authentic and like it was made with care and pride. My friend has a nut and shellfish allergy, and they were so thoughtful and thorough about avoiding cross contamination and making unique recommendations on their menu. Most places treat allergies like they make the guest a bit of a nuisance to them, but not here! It was like eating at a loved one's home. We live in downtown SLC and will happily be making the trip here every time we want Indian cuisine. The portions are large, the price is fair, the team is warm and welcoming. After a long drive into Sandy late one night, we stumbled across Curry Connect and decided to give it a try, mostly because not many places are open that late. We placed a pretty large takeout order around 11:30 PM and were pleasantly surprised. The garlic naan and chicken curry dishes were flavorful, and the onion pakora had just the righ crunch. The only thing we wouldn't get again is the tomato soup, tasted more like a standard version you'd find anywhere. What really stood out was how many dishes they offer, the menu feels endless. Usually that's a red flag, but in this case, the quality held up. The person who helped me on the phone was really patient and gave some good suggestions, which I appreciated since I'm not familiar with Indian cuisine. Didn't dine in, so I can't say much about the atmosphere, but for takeout and late night cravings, this place worked out really well. I found my new favorite restaurant! Just arriving in the parking lot you could smell the enticing aroma. Once seated, on if the owners came by to see if we wanted any recommendations. We took him up on the suggestion for the chicken sukka (pictured) and the chicken tikka masala with garlic naan. Flavor was outstanding bursting with flavor, the chicken was well cooked and juicy. Simply put, this is the best Indian restaurant in Salt Lake hands down. I've had nearly every Indian restaurant in Salt Lake County, and nothing even comes close. The Vijayawada chicken biryani is my favorite thing on the menu, but nearly everything SMACKS. The naan, the gobi manchurian, the chicken 65, all of it is gold. The servers are all great, very friendly, and the food comes out quick for the quality of it all. The restaurant is clean with plenty of seating. It's a comfortable spot to be. Bit you're not there for the ambiance or the vibe, you're there for the food. I have eaten at Bonsai next door a couple dozen of times but have had my eye on Curry Connect and was stoked when I got to try it for dinner on a Sunday evening after pickleball! My date and I shared the coconut korma but it wasn't as good as my ultimate favorite hands down best coconut korma I've ever had and that is still available to order at Royal India. This place is good but I will most likely try some other dishes the next time I come back here. My date got naan and they didn't have gluten free naan so I avoided enjoying it but it seemed delicious and my date ate all of it himself so I'd say it was definitely enjoyable. read more

I have eaten here Soo many times but the service is just shit. The food came cold we still ate because we were hungry. We called the owner to just report it politely. The owner just went back to the waiter, the waiter put everything on us that it is how it is and you should have said it initially. This was the worst experience the worst experience ever. They had a party and we could see that they were ignoring us. The egg on biryani was cold, the dosa was cold. And it all got blamed on us for no reason. Won't recommend. They got us to review 7 months back and was offering free lassi. We did review them good then but now it's bad. So don't just be fooled by the rating on Google Just bad service and then they don't even own it up the guy was ready to fight me because they didn't want to own up. Found this gem because they were open till 12 on a Saturday night. You will need to pardon me, but the first tell was the majority of customers were Indian families. We had 6 in our group and sat comfortably. It took a while to order because of the size of the menu. The food is intense, complex and fresh. You could tell the preparation was from freshly ground spices. The manager said they used 21 spices in the dish in question. This was better flavor quality than I have experienced in any Indian restaurant. I was able to taste six different dishes (medium heat range). Some known dishes and three that I have never tasted before. Each unique. I would have been happy to eat any. I got the bone-in chicken tandoori weekend special. The garlic Naan was amazing. The curries were so nicely flavored and had a good portion of meat. The whole fish came out sizzling and my husband enjoyed the spicy flavors. My father in law didn't enjoy all the bones in his goat curry. He said it was more bone than meat. We liked the way the restaurant was laid out, so no one is in front of the door and the booths are actually quiet enough to carry on a conversation.
