We had the paneer 555, fried cheese in a crispy crust tossed in a sweet and spicy curry sauce. It made me sweat a little it was so spicy, but in the best way. The sev puri isn't listed on the Togo menu or online, but if you dine in you should order it. They are served cold, with a potato interior and a round crispy exterior made of papadum. It's topped with a tamarind chutney that was all things tangy and sweet, with a touch of spice. We also had the chicken korma, the chicken tikka masala, and the lamb vindaloo. They were all good but I might try a different one next time just to try and find my favorite. All the curry dishes were huge and served with an equally large dish of rice- 2 people can absolutely share 1 dish. Medium was the perfect amount of spice for us. This is such a hidden gem in Superior! I had not heard of this place before, but when back visiting family my dad was wanting Indian food place and we were staying not far from here so decided to try it out. The restaurant was warm and bright on the inside. There were quite a few booths/tables and they were able to sit our party of 7 immediately. The wait staff was so friendly and attentive. They answered our questions and gave us great recommendations. This is one of the few Indian food places I have been to that has southern indian dishes as well as the to-be-expected curry and northern indian dishes. This place has dosas and they are delicious and massive! They also have dal makhani which was amazing. The mutton briyani was so flavorful and a perfect amount of spice. Plus, all the additional curries we had were equally delicious. We also tried, from the staff's suggestion, the carrot pudding for dessert and it was such a warm and delicious way to end the meal. I like spicy food and ordered it hot but it wasn't too spicy, so I'd recommend to go extra spicy if you like spice. The service was prompt and the food came out quickly. I found this place by accident. I pulled over and pulled over to get something out of the backseat of my briefcase. As I was getting back into the car I noticed the sign on the building. What a great find. The service and servers are fantastic and they gave me excellent suggestions for dinner. The food was all outstanding. I started with the 555 chicken that was savory spicy. I would've been happy with two orders of that over rice. For my main course I had the Malabar Shrimp with jasmine rice and I ordered the garlic naan. For desert I ordered the carrot pudding that comes warm. I've never had anything like that before. It was good and I'm happy that I tried it. It was not my type of desert. Rasoi House is the latest iteration of an Indian restaurant in this particular location. It's a restaurant connected to a long standing Denver family restaurant (Spice Room/Kal Pant). The menu is vast and the flavors are strong and diverse. While some classics found in other restaurants can be found here, they also include their own combinations and new updates that reflect fusion ideas. As a large family, we were able to order across the menu. We all found dishes that we would order again. The service was attentive and the atmosphere was ok. One stand out was the sweet potato chaat; while a dish that fell a little short was the noodle dosa was just ok (the wrap was fine). We ordered the Kadai Paneer and Mushroom Masala with Butter Naan. Kadai paneer was good but not the best. Mushroom Masala tasted more south indian than what it's supposed to be. I guess the average customer might not be able to tell the difference. Being from India, we could tell right away and might come here if it's on the way but not make it a point to make this our go-to restaurant. The naan was also definitely not fresh and really just toasted (not tandoor) frozen naan. You can tell from the shape itself Overall OK but not very authentic. I think their South Indian entrees might be better given that the flavors leaned more in that direction. Many better Indian food options in Denver if you're willing to drive a bit or actually live there like we do. We've had Indian food in many places throughout the US, Canada, London (including one of the most renowned Indian restaurants in London) and Dublin. This is hands down the best Indian food we've ever had. I ordered the Shahenshah chicken and let me just say delicious would be an understatement. The depth of flavor was nothing short of incredible. My husband chose the lamb Rogen Josh, which he has ordered at several other restaurants. However, one bite told us this was on a level of its own. I would be remiss if I did not also mention the friendly, hardworking and efficient staff, as well as the pleasant atmosphere. We will certainly return sometime soon and I know we must try other entrees, but it will be difficult after having tasted these two amazing dishes. read more

Came here on several recommendations. The menu is large with allot of options. Many options for vegetarian and vegans. Read the description as many have at the end can be vegan. Another thing I liked is at the bottom on the back is a leaguer showing what the dish has. Saw this in Europe and makes it easier for people with sensitivity or allergies. I was overwhelmed by the variety and asked the waiter for recommendations. Ended up with Chicken Shahenshah which is a coconut and cashew stew with chicken. It's changed hands a couple of times serving Indian food and this time as RASOI HOUSE is the best! Yes, the dosa is amazing -- we ordered the masala dosa (potato & onion) crispy. RASOI MEANING Kitchen in Punjabi...is needing some TLC. Why is Colorado so deficient on authentic Sub Continent indian cooking? Im convinced its the altitude This was my second attempt at hoping it would be better than the original bawarchi which was at the same location . Bawarchi became biryani bliss , which was anything but blissful.it was terrible Well .Rasoi unfortunately fell short on many levels. My first attempt was the dosa ..which was ok in mt second go i brought the family We know good indian fare , having traveled around the USA as a touring musician, has afforded me the freedom to try just about every curry place in all the major US city hubs where IT jobs abound This transitioned place is failing from the same disease that befell biryani bliss All of their curries use the same base , with an overzealous amount of curry leaves absolutely destroying the inherent design of a vindaloo . They were kind enough to redo my order , but it came back with a bit more chili powder. Vindaloo are a goan specialty that is more vinegar based , not Madras. So for now if you want authentic indian in the front range its Azafran . Rasoi did offer free chai and pappadam . They are really nice folks .but they need to find a new chef who knows the intricacies of all the complexity of regional sub continent India cuisine. In addition to the traditional curries and samosas, this place also has traditional Indian street food and a variety of items not normally seen on Indian restaurant menus. The food is superior, with distinctive flavors, textures and identifiable variations from several different regions of India. This restaurant is part of the same family that runs The Spice Room, another of our favorites. Tonight we had lamb saag, chicken wings, chana chaat, batata vada pav, and samosa. Gave it a go. Vindaloo was delicious chicken tikka mediocre and flavor was lacking. But the waiter had a pleasant attitude. Cleaner than under past ownership, but seats still need professional cleaning. I am on the fence about trying it again. read more
