Finally got to stop by and grab lunch!! I've been to events here before and got to try quite a few dishes they have to offer. The flavors are so vibrant!! I love spices so Indian food is definitely a must. I'd say my favorite dishes are the Butter Chicken and Chicken Tikka Masala. They do let you pick a spice level. I like it a bit spicy but even just regular, it's so good!! I always get garlic naan on the side as well. They recently added butter chicken samosas to the menu, comes with 3 sauces. SO GOOD!! Love the unique twist on the drinks. Service is always top tier!! Definitely check them out!!

Stopped in for a quick lunch with some coworkers since I hadn't been to the space since it was Ginger Hop. Not much has changed and it's still a cozy spot with decently spaced booths and a bar. It was pretty empty when we went but the service was pretty slow. According to my friend that's not normal, though. Food-wise I got the Kadai Tofu and some roti. The tofu was solid but nothing amazing. It was bright but the main flavor was "tomato", which was a bummer. That seemed to be the case with all the dishes, though. The second-hottest spice was a barely noticeable "black pepper" level.. The roti was also "not bad". I tried some naan from a shared plate and that was also ok, but relatively bland. I'd give it another shot since my coworker really likes them but I probably wouldn't go unless someone else specifically wanted to go here. There are just too many good options in the area to settle for "ok".

I've been wanting to try the pani puri here for so long, and it was everything I wanted and more!! Everything we ordered was flavorful, fresh, and had generous servings. The service was also amazing! We will definitely be coming back soon!!

We stumbled upon this place while walking around and had to try it even though we weren't really "hungry" since I've seen it a few times on social media. We sat on the street patio and were greeted quickly by our friendly server who checked on us often. We tried the panipuri, little shells filled with potatoes, chick peas and spices that you pour a herb flavored water into and pop into your mouth. I wasn't ready for the explosion in my mouth but I really enjoyed them. We also tried the lamb Samosas, they were served with a delicious green sauce that enhanced the delicious treat. A pomegranate gin fizz was the perfect drink to go with both. We'll be back with a bigger appetite another time so we can try more.

We visited after seeing the Curry Corner pop up on social media a few times. The flavors packed a punch! Bold flavors with spice (which we loved). Between the two of us adults, we had a full meal as well as leftovers of the entrees. The Honey Chili Potato was a sweet and spicy sauce over fries and vegetables. The Chicken Biryani gave us the flavorful, granulated rice and aromatics. The Chicken Malabar was creamy, almost sweet and savory, and paired beautifully with the white rice and naan.

Seated at the bar and then largely ignored the rest of the time. I had a wave down a server to take my order. Wave down a server to ask for my check. Wave down a server to ask for to-go boxes. The to-go containers they brought didn't fit all of my leftovers. At that point I just gave up and left them behind. It was more exhausting than necessary.

Love love love this place and what keeps me coming back is their mango lassi drinks!!! Not sure why but they serve the best mango lassi drinks I've been able to find. Garlic naan, beef tikka masala, beef butter chicken and a few mango lassis are my go-to order. The folks here are very warm and welcoming and overall a great experience. Love that they open late on the weekends because for folks like me in the west metro, everything is usually closed at by 8pm :( So driving here is always a win-win for me :) Street parking is probably your best bet as it's nestled between busy streets and ongoing construction. Don't sleep on their bar service as well. Love that you can get a heart meal and end the night with a glass of wine.

Curry Corner, cute little place in the heart of northeast Minneapolis. Was in the neighborhood and heard good things so decided to give them a try! Went during lunch on a Tuesday and it was pretty empty. Space was open, clean, and vibey. Service was quick and servers were attentive. We ordered some appetizers, chicken pakora and vegetable samosas. The chicken was a bit dry for our liking but with the sauces it helped a lot! The vegetable samosas were good but could've used a tad bit more salt or flavor. Something about them was missing, but I'd order again. We got one beef makhani and one chicken makhani. Same with those dishes, they were fine but felt like something was missing. Naan was pretty on point. Overall review: Food is good but not over the top. Service is prompt and they were pleasant. Price isn't too wild, I believe I paid $66 after tip for everything. There is construction currently so parking is a bit tricky, but northeast is tiny in that area so not a far walk. If you're in the area and craving Indian, I think it's worth checking out!

Went to Curry Corner for the first time tonight for their Wednesday Date Night Special. 2 drinks, an appetizer, 2 entrees, and a dessert for $75. We thought it was a good deal and wanted to check the place out. The food was ok but the price for the "date night special" is extremely overpriced. We were majorly overcharged. The $75 date night special was a value of only $58. I have included the prices of the items from the menu in one of the pictures below. With taxes and tip tonight we paid $98 for only $58 worth of items. Please make this right Curry Corner, and in the meantime I highly recommend to everyone else to not get the "date night special" and to stick to the regular menu. **edited to say that they called me and actually refunded the meal, which was very nice and professional of them. I'm adding a star back for the professional customer service.**

Restaurant is clean, service is great, plenty of parking since it's in a strip mall. I think they do a lot of take out orders. We went for lunch and ordered a dish (chicken tikka masala) from the $15 lunch special. They also have lunch specials of 2 curry or 3 curry options. But our favorite of lamb vindaloo wasn't a lunch option so we ordered that separately along with tandoori chicken. The tandoori chicken came with a chutney rack (dipping sauces) and the vindaloo came with a side of naan. Normally naan is ordered separately and doesn't come free with dishes, only certain ones. Everything was delicious. The tandoori chicken came sizzling hot and was tender and juicy. Both curries (ordered at medium spice) were so flavorful! Good amount of protein in each. We also ordered the pickle accompaniment and that was a miss for us. It's not our taste. Highly recommend this place .

As a vegetarian, I was in heaven at the number of items that I could choose from. Thankfully, my companions were all willing to split dishes, so I could try more than one. We started out with the lentil green onion pancakes. They were don't earth than I had expected. I thought they would be more of a super crispy flat dish, but they have the substance of a real pancake, with savory flavors. Really wonderful. We ordered three entrées, including the jackfruit and the eggplant. The jackfruit was my absolute favorite, but that was not universal. I think it was very well well prepared, but not everyone likes jackfruit and not everyone loves those spices. But it made me so happy. The eggplant dish was pretty good, but the potato two eggplant ratio could be improved. A few too many potatoes and not enough eggplant. Otherwise excellent. The service was fine. The owner did come over and say hello to us afterwards and he was delightful. Another excellent immigrant owned business to support in Minneapolis.

We loved almost everything we tried. They have a fairly extensive menu, with lots of apps, street foods, curries, and some surprise dishes that aren't so easily found at other Indian spots. We tried the dahi puri, paneer makhani, tandoori murg, makki roti with sarson ka saag, and several naan. The paneer was creamy with tons of flavor, and my husband said the roti with saag dish reminded him of home - big win! The dahi puri was cool and brightly flavored and crunchy and creamy, perfect starter on a hot day. The only thing I would maybe pass on is the tandoori chicken - while it came out sizzling with a great char, it had some strange flavors, almost like they mixed in chili Gobi or something with it? Not bad, just not what was expected, especially since everything else really hit it out of the park. The restaurant was empty when we arrived at an off time, but started to fill up quickly as we approached dinner time. Family friendly, as we brought our baby and felt comfortable with her both in a wagon and high chair, the service was kind and very accommodating. Can't wait to come back and try more the next time an Indian food craving hits!

The lamb was probably was favorite and was gone very quickly. The chicken was a close second and had a ton of flavor which the naan soaked up nicely. The galub jamun was a pleasant surprise as well. I ordered what I believed was a vegetable platter appetizer, but when it arrived it turned out to be fried fritter-style items instead. Since I wasn't familiar with some of the menu terminology, I asked my server if there was an actual vegetable platter with a variety of fresh vegetables. He pointed to another item on the menu, so I asked what it was. Rather than explaining it, he mumbled something I couldn't understand and literally walked away while I was still trying to ask questions. As someone who isn't familiar with every Indian dish, I was simply trying to understand what I was ordering in terms I could recognize. The food may be good, but the service completely overshadowed the experience. I left feeling dismissed and unwelcome. Given the restaurant's reputation, I was genuinely surprised by how poor the customer service was during my visit. This version focuses on the service issue rather than insults, which tends to carry more weight on Yelp and Google.
