    Chicken Curry

This was one of the many food places in the Midtown Global Market, and I think they have solid food overall, with both the momo and the curry tasting like what I would expect them to taste like. I enjoyed what I had ordered. I thought the bison momo tasted better with the yellow sauce, while the chicken momo tasted better with the green sauce. As for the meat curry, it varies depending on the day, and I got chicken on the day I visited. For those who plan on visiting, I recommend going earlier than later, because their meat curry, which can change depending on the day, is popular and therefore is likely to run out first.

The chicken momo was pretty good. The masala dosa was nice, crispy, and delicious. The chicken tikka masala with basmati rice was also pretty good. However, it took a while to get the food.

OMG I love Momo Dosa. The chicken and veggie momo never disappoint, the herb blend is off the charts! Sad to hear malcolm yards location closed but with all the effort going to this location, it shows! Expending the menu and always serving delicious food. Great location with plenty of seating, very friendly servers!

My first time exploring the Midtown Global Market but there are many great eateries inside. We all split up and found something different. I chose MomoDosa. They got me when they offered me a sample of their chicken curry. It was a perfect curry sauce, not too spicy with basmati rice. So good!! A little bit later I came back for a Dosa. For those that don't know what I'm talking about, imagine a very large crepe that is lightly rolled but is crunchy more than chewy with caramel sauce nicely poured all over with bananas inside. Top it off with a heaping of whip cream to dip the Dosa in. A little pricey but really good. Check this place out and enjoy the cultural experience of the other shops as well.

The server accidentally gave us dessert before we got our food, and the owner told them to take it back so we can be served fresh. We got some combo meals that come with side dishes. Fish was sooo tender and sauce has a good mix of spice and sourness. Momo and mango lasi were also fresh and you can tell they are made in house. Vibes are just cozy and warm overall, and I can't wait to be back for the second time!!

As a vegetarian, I was in heaven at the number of items that I could choose from. Thankfully, my companions were all willing to split dishes, so I could try more than one. We started out with the lentil green onion pancakes. They were don't earth than I had expected. I thought they would be more of a super crispy flat dish, but they have the substance of a real pancake, with savory flavors. Really wonderful. We ordered three entrées, including the jackfruit and the eggplant. The jackfruit was my absolute favorite, but that was not universal. I think it was very well well prepared, but not everyone likes jackfruit and not everyone loves those spices. But it made me so happy. The eggplant dish was pretty good, but the potato two eggplant ratio could be improved. A few too many potatoes and not enough eggplant. Otherwise excellent. The service was fine. The owner did come over and say hello to us afterwards and he was delightful. Another excellent immigrant owned business to support in Minneapolis.

The young host was running around looking very flustered, which made the vibe feel way more chaotic. Thankfully, it looked like the owner noticed and helped take over organizing the staff and getting guests arranged at tables. We noticed they have a really fun cafe setup called The Corner Café with its own window in the corner. It was closed when we were there, but it turns out they actually operate as a full-service artisan coffee shop during the morning and afternoon, serving Spyhouse coffee and pastries before shifting entirely to fine dining at night! For dinner, my husband ordered the sticky cauliflower as an appetizer and declared it "the best cauliflower 'chicken' bites he's ever had"--he also absolutely loved the white sauce it came with. He also got the mango yuzu drink which was super refreshing. For entrees, we ordered the coconut curry, which had a great flavor and wasn't overly sweet (which can sometimes happen when a kitchen overdoes the coconut milk). I ordered the Delhi butter chicken. The waiter mentioned that their spice scale is a "Minnesota spice" scale, so I felt safe upgrading to medium since I usually order mild. Flavor-wise, it had a bit too much tomato flavor for my personal preference, but it was still well prepared and the pieces of chicken had a lovely, smoky flavor.

We definitely waited quite a while for the food, but the servers were very friendly and accommodating while we waited. We ordered the chole, creamy masala curry with chicken, and the namaste special curry with tofu to share. The chole was much spicier than I anticipated. Although my friend warned me and I can normally handle some heat, my mouth was burning up. It was pretty good, but I would steer clear if you don't want to breathe like a dragon at dinner. The creamy masala curry was the best by far, with a rich taste that's well-balanced. I would have liked the namaste special curry more if it wasn't pitted against the creamy. This was good too, flavorful, but not my favorite. I'd still come again for another date night, but will definitely be ordering the creamy masala curry and trying other entrees.
