Great takeout experience. Delicious food and lots of meat in their sauces. While some places skimp on meat, these were very large portions. Samosas were fantastic but I would have liked the common white sauce as well to cool the spice. read more

The best lunch combo value I've ever come across at $8.95. Humongous portions. Super nice people. Also, their vegetarian options are a plant eaters dream! My favorite was the chickpea dish. Tonight we ate here for the first time as it was my daughter's birthday and she loves India cuisine. As first timers we over ordered and there was enough food for another five people. I didn't think I liked curry but I do now! Everything we ordered was delicious! We even ordered several types of Naan bread (cheese, garlic and plain), it was so good! I had chicken Biryani, which I try everywhere and compare, and this one stands way up there. The best part might have been the raita which is usually nothing special, but this one was so good I kind of wanted to take it home lol. Most importantly though, the staff was so kind and funny. Truly genuine people who made the entire night feel fun. The person I ate with remarked it was the best restaurant he had visited in months, and he had been reluctant to visit as it appears much smaller from the outside. Wow, what can I say. I love ethnic food and I enjoy cooking it. I enjoy naan, curries, dal, korma and marsalas. This place has such a variety! I enjoyed the vegetarian chili with the bread basket, and the a Snowman beer. Wonderful meal, way too much food, but that's okay, as it means leftovers. Great prices, great service. I came in one day with a friend, and we ordered two different specials. I believe I got the curry house special and she got the chef's special, both non-vegetarian. The chicken tikka masala is the best, and I really enjoyed trying a bunch of different things. Since I had such a good experience, I came back the next day for the lunch buffet with my husband. Mom was craving for some Indian food, so we searched on yelp and this restaurant was the top one near us so we decided to give it a shot The place is actually big, we thought there was a wait but it was just actually a few people inside. The servers greeted us with a smile and a short greeting. This place really serves great food, we ordered the lunch special. The lunch special had lamb curry, and you will pick between 2 vegetables, I picked the palak paneer which is my favorite, palak paneer is like spinach with some cottage cheese cubes, it's insanely good, best with rice or bread dipped in it. Then on the side it has a dessert that's main ingredient is rice. Everything that we ordered was super good, the lamb is my favorite thing to eat in here because its super flavorful, it's very soft and the serving is many. The palak paneer is one of my favorites as well. I also ordered some of the sweet lasi, the flavor was strawberry, it was soooooo yummy, it had a sweet and sour taste to it, it's like a yoghurt drink. I like the customer service in here too, the waitresses are friendly and helpful. Shout out to my waitress earlier, I'm very thankfull that she was patient with us while we were ordering and she was helping me with the WiFi password. The place maybe small and very few people but the food is worth to go to. Highly recommending this place for people who are craving for Indian food, they've got 2 tvs with Indian shows and movies to keep you entertained as well read more

We're from the San Francisco Bay Area where we've lived for most of our adult lives until recently when we moved out to Seabrook WA in Gray's Harbor County. We love it out here for many reasons but miss the diversity of food we're used to. We were fortunate to discover the Curry House once en route home from a visit to Seattle and fell in love with it. Now, we will go miles and miles out of our way to stop there for a robust take out meal which we stretch out for days in order to squelch our hunger for good Indian food. Thank you! read more

We came here two days in a row - once for dinner and then for the lunch special. Couldn't get enough! As far as what's available in Lacey, this place is definitely a top contender. Portions are massive as they usually are at Indian restaurants, and the pricing is average. The food was served hot and in a timely manner, which I can appreciate. Service wasn't bad, but we could definitely tell the main goal was to serve the food and clear the table as quickly as possible for the next customer, lol. It's a pretty small spot and seating is limited. While it doesn't hold a torch to some of the other Indian restaurants I've visited across the country, I still think the food was very high quality and I thoroughly enjoyed both meals. I've noticed some places tone down the level of heat and don't include as much spice, and that's probably to appeal to a larger audience. This is the kind of cuisine you'll find at The Curry House - not overtly spicy and generally pretty mild, even when ordering 'hot'. Overall, a solid bet if you're in the Lacey area. I really can't describe how happy this place made our family. We were traveling and desperately needed a good meal that did not come with fries. This placed delivered. The kormas were spot on (bit thicker then normal) but expertly spiced and nuanced with various flavors and addons (like raisins... yum) The mixed grill had an interesting honeyish glaze that was not as great as others. The riata and chai were spot on and they were glad to customize orders. Very friendly to the family. We did have a short wait on non-peak hours but well worth it. Naan was great... cheese naan was a bit under flavored but that is more preference then issue. We live a few hours away and would drive just for this. read more

I always loved the authentic Indian cuisine you can find in the Issaquah area, so when we moved here and tried Curry House, we were pleased to find the food was on par with that of our favorite restaurants up on the Eastside. We love the spicy level options (the mild is truly mild enough for our toddler to enjoy), and the garlic naan is the best! What a great casual dining experience this was. We went for a date night during the week and were able to be seated right away. We tried so many different appraisers and dishes, I don't even remember what they were called, I just remember that they were all very tasty. My favorite of course is the butter chicken- I'm not one for real spicy food but I would suggest getting a little bit of heat added to this one as it makes the flavor really come out and is not to hot. read more
