Lunch buffet
Mike M.

If you haven't dined at this one of kind in the Nashville area Indian Cuisine, you're missing out! Curry House is a very authentic Indian restaurant with a great All you Can Eat Lunch Buffet in the Publix plaza off Sam Ridley. As someone with some indian family members and having grown up in the northeast, this Indian food is top notch, but it doesn't stop there, the owner who is here almost every single day is an amazing guy! The service and atmosphere is great! Food places can have good food, but without good service, it isn't a 5 star establishment. This place exceeds every star! Thanks!

Had their buffet.

Went there for lunch and had their buffet. Only selected food at the buffet and not much, but that what you get at the buffet is more than excellent. Very, very good.

Lunch buffet was awesome!

I came for lunch and was definitely the new guy. No signs and no experience so this is what I should have done: just sit at any open seat, wait for a drink order, hit the buffet. I on the other hand bungled around. Generally, I'm not a fan of buffets for Indian food. I'm too inexperienced and don't really know what anything is. I can read the signs but that doesn't help a lot (I know the basics) and I forget what I got. So forget it if you wanted an item by item review or a menu recommendation. I tried my best to wade through as many vegetarian and carnivore items. Universally, I liked them. Surprisingly, nothing I sampled would I not recommend or have wanted more. If you like Indian food or want to sample, that lunch buffet is the way to go. Some may have some gentle heat but it was all great to me. Good luck and definitely recommended.

This place is a must try and even more so if you think you dont like Indian cuisine, or if you have never had it. And if you love Indian food, you will be in heaven. I arrived torn on menu items to order, and was delighted when the server mentioned the buffet. She took me over and showed me what was vegetarian, vegan, and meat of course. I was all in! I will admit, I tried just about everything vegetarian and vegan. The taste was out of this world. I had three plates of food and typically cant finish a plate when dining. The buffet was very clean and well maintained. Customers also wear gloves when getting their food, which I loved. That should be a standard at every buffet. The restaurant was clean, service was great, and the food was impressive. I am ashamed I have never eaten here until today. Five stars all the way!

Tried this place for the first time today as a recommendation from one of my Physicians. I must say, I had never heard of the Curry House before, but I was very surprised with the food. Excellent! The Saag Paneer was amazing, the Chicken Tikka Masala was very good, the Tandori Chicken was probably some of the best I've ever had (it didn't taste reheated from the day before and was tender and juicy. Man do I love Good Indian food, and this place has a great lunch buffet with a ton of tasty choices including main courses, fruit and salad, and some great desserts too

Red roses from the owners of Curry House on Valentine's Weekend!

This was such a great place! A couple of my friends and I had a Bible Study there last night and just loved the setting. SERVICE: The owner was very sweet and helpful in explaining the differences between certain dishes. She was genuine and her son helped us in picking the best Bread. His suggestion of the Garlic Naan hit the spot. FOOD: I ordered the lamb curry at level 5 of spicy (5 is the highest!) One friend ordered chicken curry at level 3 and while the other ordered chicken tikka marsala at level 3. I had never had the chicken tikka marsala and tried some from my friend' plate. I think I will order that next time for myself. The lamb curry was excellent and overall everything tasted great! When we were leaving, the owner brought us each a red rose in honor of Valentine's weekend. Such a cute sentiment showing that she genuinely cared! I wish we would have taken photos of our food! Definitely a place to try, and continue going to! They have lunch buffet during the week as well.

How much is the buffet?

I think it was $16 including tax. It is a good price for what you get and for how much you can eat considering that there are not many good buffets left here.…

I can't handle the heavy spices, so a level 1 is perfect. The chicken 555, paneer and samosas are always my go to options. The atmosphere is relaxing and the decor is a mild Indian theme.

Vibe: Yeah, it's in a strip center (lol), but don't judge a book by its cover. Inside, it's surprisingly nice -- clean, comfortable, and way more inviting than you'd expect from the outside. It had that calm mid-afternoon vibe, perfect for grabbing a quiet meal. Service: Everyone was super friendly and easygoing. My server made great recommendations, checked in just enough, and had a really nice energy about them. You can tell they care about the experience. Food & Drink: I went with the Palak Paneer -- paneer cooked in creamy spinach with spices -- and it was awesome. The sauce was rich and flavorful, and it came loaded with paneer. I ended up getting extra rice just to scoop up every bit of that sauce. Totally hit the spot. Overall: Great food, great service, and a super chill spot to unwind. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in Murfreesboro. Date of visit: September 7, 2025

I'll start by saying I'm kinda of picky when it comes to my Indian food. So, maybe I was just…read moretripping. This was my first time ever going to this restaurant and the people were nice, but not friendly. Here's what I mean, they smiled and were nice, not rude, but they weren't like trying to be helpful. For instance, I had no plate, fork, napkins, at my table, and our server didn't bring me one. So, one of the people I was with, grabbed a clean plate, napkin, and fork from another table (they're randomly on different tables) so I could have one. We were never asked if we needed a refill of our drinks or if we needed anything. It was a very hands off experience. I ordered a water and a sprite, never got a straw for both, so had to switch between the drinks. So, again, nice, but not friendly. The food wasn't the best. It was a group of 3 of us. 2 got the buffet, I personally ordered the Lamb Rogan Josh. The buffet didn't really have great options and the naan bread was just sitting out, so it wasn't nice and fresh. The food was decent, but it wasn't great. It was lacking in salt and surprisingly my meal was lacking in seasoning. I know. I know. Crazy right!? Indian food is never under-seasoned, but here we are. It honestly just tasted like spicy yogurt. Heat. Pepper. Not really the same as seasoned. The heat level , but the seasoned level ehhh. I took it to go and it got better the next day with some salt and covered in mint and tamarind sauce. Now, the meat samosas on the other hand, they were good. They needed a little salt, but they tasted pretty good. I mean I honestly have no complaints with them. They were nice and big. Crunchy. Seasoned pretty well. Overall 8/10 appetizer. No complaints from me on it. The other two enjoyed the biryani and bhatura ( soft fried fluffy bread) they had at the buffet. Those were the two things that stood out to them most. The restaurant is fairly dark and has a chill vibe where you just pick your own seats, which I really didn't have a problem with. My one complaint was the rips in some of the seats. It was a bit uncomfortable to sit on, but nothing that really destroyed your visit. It was more just like a "aww, man, that's annoying..." and then move on type of thing. Every once in a while I'd look down, see the big piece of tape and then have to reshift myself, but other than that, no big deal. Maybe I'll give them another try in the future because it was off being it was random in the middle of a week day.

We got seated right away and there was one other table in there besides us. I tried a small sample of many of the items on the buffet. I wasn't really sure what I was expecting since I'm not very familiar with Indian cuisine, but I am glad they had a buffet to give me the chance to try different items. I am glad I came here. I've tried some other spots before, but I really liked the food at this one. My favorite thing here was the naan and saag paneer. The saag paneer had a very nice flavor to it. They had plenty on their bar so I got the chance to try their tandoor chicken and chilli chicken. I can't handle spice too well, but I was able to handle the spice here. The food wasn't too spicy at all. The spice level was perfect for me. The food on the bar was more towards the cool/warm side. The chicken I tried was cool and not very warm. Next time I come, I will probably just order off the menu.

We ordered family-style, and every dish that hit the table was vibrant, aromatic, and made with love. The tandoori chicken was simple yet so comforting, it arrived in a sizzling skillet adding a hint of flare in the presentation. Each chicken piece was beautifully charred, and coated in a bold, smoky marinade. The curries were so rich and each one had its own personality. The creamy yellow curry from the Chicken Korma was very rich in flavor while the saagwala was earthy, well-seasoned, and not over-puréed. Personally my favorite was the chicken korma the curry sauce was just on another level, I highly recommend this dish. The lamb biryani was another highlight with fragrant basmati rice and huge chunks of lamb generously garnished with fresh cilantro. Bread lovers be warned! The naan was hot, fluffy, and perfect for scooping up sauces. We also tried the aloo tikki as an appetizer and they were crisp on the outside yet so soft inside.
