Indian inspired pizza is an excellent idea! The paneer pizzas are a must! And the tandoori wings were delicious! Even the toilet paper in the restrooms are the really good soft kind! There's a fill bar, a good amount of seating inside, and a nice sized patio. If you haven't had Indian style pizza, you gotta try it!

A casual eatery specializing in Indian-flavor-profile pizzas located in the District at Tustin. My husband and I came in to catch the latter half of a World Cup game (they have a large table and TV by the entrance and 2 smaller TVs for the rest of the tables inside). We ordered a small chicken tandoori pizza and it satisfied both of us (we also wanted to order samosas but they were sadly out). Water is self-serve and the inside was nice and clean. They also have a small outdoor seating area. I did wish for a bit more flavor in the pizza itself (which I typically expect for Indian food) but the balance of ingredients was well-done!

This place took over daphnes I believe which was Greek/med food. This was a nice addition to this area. I have never had this place but a co worker wanted us to go here for lunch one day so we did. We placed an ordered for online so that when we got there food would be ready and we could enjoy the food and time we had. I got the chicken tikka which was good and had good flavors to it. Just wish there was more chicken though. The pizza had a little bit too much dough for me as I like my pizza more on the thin crust side but overall it was good and I would come back.

First thing that caught my attention was the graffiti style art on the back wall. Definitely added some substance to the place that made it stand out against other pizza joints. We ordered two pizzas and both were flavorful. I particularly liked the dough here and was surprised to find myself actually eating the crusts which I never do. They dont skimp on the protein toppings either and everything held together surprisingly well given how much meat they do give you. The only thing for me is that I was hoping for a more distinct curry/indiand spice flavor but maybe I had ordered the wrong flavors for that. Still satisfying overall and would recommend others to try.

Arthur was amazing, great service and even better pizza! Restaurant is a great vibe as well with beers on tap.

This establishment has seemingly gone downhill. I ordered the Chicken Tikka pizza per usual with extra cheese. It was missing the green onions and cilantro and didn't seem to even have extra cheese although I paid for it. The wings should've also been cooked longer.... Don't think I'll be back to this location. Super disappointed and annoyed.

We wanted pizza and butter chicken to dip the crust in. Little did we know this existed. We enjoyed both pizzas. One curry and one butter chicken. So flavorful and the crust was good too. Definitely want to come back. Lots of seating and parking was pretty easy too.

    Dirty table

The experience is bad because they did not clean the tables like look at this mess!!!But side note the pizza is good

I tried 3 lunch special pizzas today. The dough is a bit thick & chewy in an enjoyable way. I wouldn't rush here if I'm craving pizza but the lunch special is nice! Curry Masala - a little bland 3.5/5 Malai Chicken - creamy, cheesy, well seasoned 5/5!! Will get Malai Chicken from now on. Butter Chicken - no distinct flavors 3/5 I've also liked the Achari and Tandoori wings from here.

I felt like ordering pizza but wanted something more than the usual pepperoni and cheese and discovered Curry House Pizza as I was browsing thru Yelp. I ordered the Aloo Gobhi pizza and samosas. When I went to pick up my order they were out of samosas and substituted it with mozzarella sticks. I don't usually like mozzarella sticks but it wasn't too bad and came with a side of marinara sauce. The pizza was way spicier than I had expected. I have had Aloo Gobhi before and it had always been mild. I couldn't taste much of the pizza due to the spiciness. Over time I got used to it and enjoyed the potatoes, onions and other toppings. The dough was nice, thin and crunchy. If you are looking for a different type of pizza and enjoy Indian food, I would recommend giving this place a try.

The pizza is mid. Nothing special about it. It was salty for some reason which was a turn off and it is expensive for no reason. A small is $22... for a small. Just over priced pizza that taste like domino's. Then the wings were so fatty it was off putting. $8.99 for 5 pieces and most of the wing was just fat and chewy. The flavor of the wings were good, nothing special. Was this little pizza and wings worth $25? Absolutely not!

Got the curry chicken masala pizza and really enjoyed it! However, I do wish there was more sauce to balance all the bread and toppings. The chicken was flavorful but did seem processed and not completely fresh. Overall, I thought it was a yummy pizza and the flavors were spot on, and the crust was the perfect balance of chewy and crispy. They also loaded up on the toppings which I really appreciate. For service, I did have to wait a bit to get helped. I also ordered online and it wasn't ready to pick up when I got there a few minutes early. This was fine though because they did get it ready by the estimated time. They seem understaffed, as there was only 1 cashier who was helping at the counter while also running back and forth from the front to the kitchen to assemble and package orders. So the service isn't the fastest, but the food is yummy!

Nothing's better than when you FINALLY make it to a restaurant that's been on your list forever, and it's EVERYTHING you imagined. Ok that's me with Curry Pizza House. They've put classic Indian flavors like curry and butter chicken on top of PIZZA, and yes, it is as good as it sounds. There are literally so many options on their menu but you can do half-and-half pizzas so you can basically create your own pizza tasting ;) I got the Butter chicken with half Curry veggie delight, both were SO freaking good, but my favorite had to be the Lamb kabob pizza. And not like you needed more convincing, but they can even toss wings in classic Indian flavors! Thanks for reading! ^-^

The parking lot is behind a pay gate, but you can get your ticket validated at the brewery. They have both indoor and outdoor seating, with a variety of table sizes, so it can easily accommodate large groups. We sat outside. The outside seating area sort of has a neat, firepit-type vibe. They have some overhead fans but it was still pretty hot outside (it was a heat wave). I bet it usually feels fine though. Thankfully my drink helped cool me down! I ordered the Coronado Brewing, which is described as superfruit acai cider. I loved it! I'm not a big drinker but I've always loved Angry Orchard cider, so if you're like me, you would probably like the Coronado too. It's a deep red colored cider and can come in a 16 or 20oz. It can get loud here, even outside. I found that my voice was a bit scratchy after I got home from the happy hour with all the loud talking, but that's probably to be expected anywhere you go!

Tables to sit at but apparently they paid $100 per table just to be able to sit at it; that seems a bit steep to me. I guess the perk of that was that you can order food and/or drinks via the barcode on the table and it'll be brought right out to you (vs standing in a long line at the bar). I will say, the food and beverages did come out very quickly! If you don't get a table, there is plenty of room to sit in beach chairs that you bring or even a blanket laid down.

My friend enjoyed her buffalo chicken sandwich and was able to take half to go. She did say she wished the buffalo sauce was a bit thicker, it's a rather thin sauce. This is a great spot to come and watch games as they have lots of big screens. Just know that it gets rather busy when big games are on. On days that there isn't big games, tables come and go pretty quickly so there isnt usually much of a wait at least on the weekdays. There are options for indoor and outdoor seating available. Our server was good, however I will say as soon as we paid they stopped refilling our waters. We stayed and chatted for a bit but our waiter or any staff never checked on us again after. Also, the bathroom could have used some attention, the trashcan was overflowing with paper towels and the plunger was out in plain view. I think a basket would help hide the plunger and cleaning products just so that the customers aren't thinking about plungers while at the restaurant.

I was waiting for my partner to get off work around the Tustin area and needed somewhere to kill…read moresome time. The Bills game was on, so naturally I figured: cold beer, football, maybe some food. Pulled up Yelp and Swinging Door Saloon popped up second on the list. Now, I have a terrible habit of reading the 1- and 2-star reviews first. That's where the entertainment is. Most of the complaints were about the service--bartenders supposedly only paying attention to regulars, people having to wave them down, etc. Alright. Let's see what we're working with. Got there around 4:30 and the bar top was completely full. I ordered a Coors Banquet on draft, but they were out, so bottle it was. Paid with a $50. Bartender hands me back $45... conveniently in big and medium bills. Ma'am. I see what we're doing here. Cute blonde bartender, cold Banquet, and a $5 bill conveniently sitting there waiting to become a tip. Maybe 21-year-old me falls for that play. Current me? "Can I get change for this five?" Nothing personal. Respect the hustle. Get your money, girl. It seemed like the lunch shift was wrapping up around then. Eventually a spot opened at the bar, so I grabbed it. That's when Jolling took over--and I'm probably spelling her name completely wrong, so apologies if I just renamed this woman. She was great. Attentive without hovering, friendly, and on top of everything. Ordered another Banquet, some water, and then I noticed a sign for chili. Well... Now I HAVE to try the chili. She let me know it came with onions. Perfect. Bring it. Chili: 10/10. Seriously good. Rich, hearty, exactly what you want sitting at a bar watching football with a cold beer. Nothing fancy pretending to be something it isn't. Just a bowl of chili that understood the assignment. As far as being a Buffalo Bills bar? Ehhhhhh. I was watching the Bills, but I wouldn't exactly call the place Bills Mafia headquarters. I was expecting a little more Buffalo energy. The actual bar itself, though? Really cool. Nice decor, clean, comfortable, and even the restrooms were surprisingly clean. And listen, a clean bar restroom deserves recognition because we've all walked into places where you open the door and suddenly decide you can hold it another three hours. Eventually my partner got off work and met me there, and naturally we decided we needed more food. We ordered the sliders and chili cheese fries. Sliders: 9.8/10. Chili cheese fries: 10/10. Those fries did NOT come out with three sad pieces of cheese sprinkled on top pretending to be "loaded." They came out looking like somebody in that kitchen had something to prove. Cheese everywhere, chili everywhere, onions, fries buried underneath fighting for their lives. Exactly how chili cheese fries should arrive. Between the chili, sliders, and fries, the food was honestly one of the biggest surprises of the visit. And service? 10/10. I'm excluding my first interaction because I'm pretty sure that bartender was just trying to secure one final contribution to the retirement fund before her shift ended. I get it. You do you, girl. Once I was settled at the bar, Jolling and the rest of the staff were on point. Which brings me back to those Yelp reviews. After actually sitting here for a while, I can understand why some people think they need to "wave down the bartender." But I also think expectations matter. This is a bar where the bartenders are working the bar and running their own food. They're moving around and actually working. There's no reason to start waving your arms around like you're trying to land a helicopter. Have a little patience. If you're expecting someone to check on you every four minutes, refill your water the second it drops below the halfway point, ask how your first bite tasted, and give you that polished corporate restaurant service... There's probably a Yard House nearby. Go there. This isn't that kind of place. And honestly? I don't think it needs to be. Be friendly. Be patient. Understand that you're sitting in a neighborhood bar. Order a cold beer, eat some surprisingly good food, watch the game, talk to people, and enjoy yourself. That's exactly what we did. Chili: 10/10 Chili cheese fries: 10/10 Sliders: 9.8/10 Service: 10/10 Cleanliness: Surprisingly on point Buffalo Bills vibes: We can turn that dial up a few clicks Overall, really fun first experience. Cold beer, really good food, clean place, friendly staff, and once I grabbed a seat at the bar, I had absolutely no issues getting taken care of. I can see why the regulars like this place. Definitely coming back. And next time... I'm bringing smaller bills.

The bartending staff at Chaak always treats customers like family, but unfortunately, they close early, so my sister and I would often end up at The Swinging Door afterward. This past Friday night, the bar was not busy, yet Jacqueline, the bartender, repeatedly ignored us. After our first drinks, we tried to order a second round and flagged her down several times, but she showed no interest in helping us. Her behavior came across as dismissive, rude, and completely uncalled for. I had not been back to The Swinging Door in a long time because of a similar experience, but I previously chalked it up to the bar being busy that night. Unfortunately, this visit confirmed that poor customer service continues to be an issue. No one goes to a bar on a Friday night expecting to be ignored or treated poorly by the bartender. Lesson learned. I sincerely hope management retrains its bartending staff and reminds them that being attentive and kind to customers is a basic part of the job.
