Welcoming, helpful staff and superb pizza in a good location. Got an 8" BBQ chicken with extra jalapeños, with a cola to wash it down, and it was absolutely delicious. The pizza was loaded and had a crisp, tasty crust that I'd call perfect, didn't want or need a dip because I didn't have to leave the them 'til last. I'll definitely be back! read more

This is a nice little mom and pop pizza next to Stater Bros. in Tustin. It seems like they always have some type of deal going on. Went with my 2 international students from Spain and France. Both girls enjoyed their pizza. One ordered the 10 inch non gluten and was happy. The other girl ordered the special promo of $9 pizza with one topping!!! GREAT DEAL!!! Super friendly and accommodating staff answering the phone. Pizza was ready in 20 mins. I love that they have XL options for pizza. They also do thin and thick crust pizzas just ask. But I just wanted more from the pizza. My 2 year old didn't like the pizza because it was spicy. The sauce had a little bite. I wish the house special had olives but it didn't cost too much to add it. I don't know what it was about the pizza that I didn't absolutely love. But I did enjoy eating it cold out of the fridge. read more

Didn't expect to find a new favorite pizza joint here. But here we are. Small shop, friendly staff, clean dining area. We walked in last minutes looking for a cheese pizza to satisfy a child's craving. The staff immediately recommended their Wednesday special which is a great deal- 2 toppings medium pizza for $8.99. I got my coworkers to to buy from this place, we order the week day specials and the math didn't add up. Turns out they charge DOUBLE for certain "toppings", this isn't disclosed on their menu other than an astrix. So we won't be buy from them again, going back to Costco. Not worth it to charge customers more without disclosing hidden costs. read more

Small and cute little pizza joint with good pizza! Pizza shack is located in a small plaza with lots of parking space. Interior is small with bench seating, they also have claw machines and electric games for entertainment! My Bf and I came here for dinner around 6 PM, not too crowded. I got the house special mini pizza and my BF got the garlic chicken mini (mini cost $9-$10). With drinks at chips, total was $28. Food came in around 10 min. Boy they load up on the toppings here~ a bit hard to eat since the toppings fell apart as I was eating. But the pizza itself was not overly greasy and tasted fresh. My pizza was classic tomato sauce where my BFs pizza had a white garlic sauce. This is the first time I've ordered here. I was bringing pizzas to a track meet at the school nearby and decided the convenience of the location was perfect! I ordered 4 Pizzas assuming they could only give me the deal on one set of pizzas. But, the owner totally called me back just to credit me and give me the deal on all 4 pizzas! That was a total savings of $22 which is super helpful since I was donating them to the school. The best part??? The pizzas were delicious! A total and complete hit with the students. I managed to get one slice out of the 4 and I agree with the kids, this pizza was great! The restaurant was super clean and casual and fun! I used to live down the street about 8 years ago and this was always a crowd pleaser. Moved out of state and now back living in the OC and this was one of the first stops I made when moving back. The pizza is generous in size yet affordable. I live that the pizza shop is not trying to be anything but who they are. I have been to so many hyped up, trendy pizza shops only to be disappointed for overpriced, basic overrated pizza. Pizza shack is solid, and does the basics right snd their restaurant has old school vibe and I'm here for it. Such a nostalgic feel to it , no many places like this left. read more

First time visit to this pizzeria. The pie wasn't as good as I would have wanted. The vegetables were too large. Apparently they were rough cut and not sliced. This method prevented them from cooking well and created oversized bites of onion, bell pepper, etc., in comparison to the meat options. I did find the sauce and dough tasty though. My next visit will omit these toppings. read more

The tomato sauce layered on the pizza has just the right blend of spices. You're told the total amount after placing your order along with the time frame for pick up. Pizza Shack's pies are delicious! I love the sausage, mushroom, and ham pizza. The crust is outstanding - it's not at all thick in the middle, but it's nice and thick around the edges. These pizzas are completely loaded with premium-quality toppings, and the the sauce is tangy. Pizza Shack does NOT skimp where it counts :-) Their side green salad comes with lettuce, tomato, shredded mozzarella cheese, and it's big enough for a family of four to share. Their wings are also really tasty AND reasonably priced for quantity and quality. The loaded potatoes are my favorite, but deadly for my waistline (too many carbs, too tasty to stop, so I always eat WAY more of them than I should). I would give 5 stars for the pizza because I think it's best in the OC (way better and cheaper than some of the bigger chains) but only 3 stars for the service. This was my first and only time ordering from this chain. I needed 6 pizzas for my daughter's birthday party. Nothing too crazy: a couple cheese, a couple pepperoni, and a couple veggie. But just to be considerate, I called in the order the night before. I even called the next day a few hours before the party to confirm we were good to go for my 4:30 pick up. Well, my father-in-law went to pick up the pizza at 4:25 and they didn't even start the order yet!!! He didn't get the pizzas until 4:40. Which doesn't sound bad to most adults but for a child's birthday party it was the end of the world that the food was late. Maybe this is fine for other people but it is absolutely unacceptable for me. If we put in an order ahead of time and ask for it to be ready at a certain time, it means something. It's not an Amazon delivery window, it's a deadline. I've even had places call me letting me know they are running late. I know places get busy and things happen, but own up to running behind and let me know so I could plan accordingly. We could have added an extra activity before the food arrived had we known we would have had ten extra minutes. Anyway, I asked for the pizza to be double sliced and it was very clear they were rushing. Again, not my fault. So it was hard to tear off the slices when I came time to serve them. Would I order from here again? For a party, definitely not. Unless my guests are ok waiting for late pizza. For dining with my family? Maybe. Or I might give my business to another chain that hasn't let me down. read more

This is my overall favorite local pizza place. Good pizza, good service, and good value for the money. I've been coming here ever since they first opened many years ago. The flavor is always perfectly balanced between the crust, sauce and toppings, and you can choose between regular or thin crust. I had a can of soda with it and that's it. I added a ten percent tip for bringing me the pie. I helped myself to the little plastic fork and knife and napkins are on the table. Again it was over $ 35.00 !! #5 Nowhere near as good as a real Chicken Marsala dinner at a good Indian restaurant and this pizza was double the price!

The lobster was finely ground but might have had more flavor if it was coarse ground. Host seemed upset that we had no reservations, even though there were several unreserved tables. The waiters were friendly. Our breadbasket was not refilled. Plates were cleared quickly. We were not asked if we wanted to see the dessert menu. So, we did not ask for the dessert menu and left.

From the moment we walked in the door we were greated by a friendly employee and he made us feel like we were gonna be taken care of..
